After just a few short hours of much needed sleep I checked out of PB and headed out for Subic. The one hour drive went fast in a van I booked at the PB Travel Desk for 550 PHP.



Upon arrival at the Palm Tree Resort (CH Link) I was fortunate that the London Suite I had sought when I originally booked a lower priced room had become available. I've stayed here before so I knew what to expect unlike Pacific Beach in Angeles which I feel is over priced for what it offers in the higher end rooms. Subic Bay is seeing growth in high end lodgings but there are still few to chose from and the mid to lower end accommodations just won't do it for me. Lodging is a sore spot for visitors seeking accommodations in the $30.00 - $40.00 range. Many of the hotels are old and most who visit and book in that range will likely be disappointed. I like a nice room and the upgrade fit the bill. Paying cash and taking advantage of a promotion lowered the nightly rate to $80.00 USD per night. The hotel sits at the heart of the entertainment district in Barrio Barretto. The London Suite has the only private balcony in the hotel which overlooks the restaurant/bar and Subic Bay. It's a two room suite with all the amenities one could imagine. Besides the great bay front location it offers a small swimming pool, a great bar which overlooks the bay and very good food. It's owned by three Brits, Tony & Mick Hale and one of their cousins. If I can bitch about anything here it's the lack of an elevator as I'm on the third level of the hotel. All of the rooms a very ornate and if I were considering a lower end option anywhere else in Subic I would kick myself in the ass for not ponying up a few bucks more for a room here.

Subic Bay's wild days are far in the past. In recent years I've been coming here mainly with my honeyko for R & R so the club scene is a refreshing change this trip. In it's heyday most of the action was in Subic City with mainly military personnel stationed here, on port call or TDY. US Navy still makes port calls in Subic however the anchor clankers are confined to there ships for the entirety of there stay. The Gordon family has held mayoral ship by one brother or another for the last few elections and aren't at this point inclined to expand the adult entertainment industry here any time soon. There are a number of bars/restaurants in Olongapo on Magsaysay Drive which have some play but many are local hangouts which might not work unless you're a Filipino. The concentration for mongering activities is right here in Barrio Barretto and the Gordon's are looking to keep it suppressed to a large degree.

After a short rest and shower I crossed the street and entered the Catwalk Bar (CH Link) which had just over twenty dancers who were 5's to 7's on my look's scale and a couple of 8's. I pulled who I considered the best looking dancer, a nineteen year old from Mindanao. She's cute, thin and flat chested with smooth flawless skin. I paid her 1500 BF and we had a drink in Palm Tree hotel bar before retiring to my suite by 7:30 pm. Sarah worked at Angel Witch (CH Link) before leaving for the Catwalk where she stated she's been for a month. Hard to decide what to believe but she shared she just broke with her BF who she shacked up with for a month in Angeles before coming here. We had two sessions of Rag Doll sex before she started looking for excuses to leave. Very pretty girl IMO but a lump in the sack, imagine that... Wouldn't consider her for a repeat even if she offered it up for free!

That's a pity as she's quite hot. Subic is awesome because any given bar has 2 or 3 hotties, a handful of Aussie geezers not pulling and a pair of Scandinavian ship workers who are way too drunk to pull either. You basically have the run of any bar you're in.

The suite looks nice. I've rolled by this hotel int he past and never got curious. The typical crude signage belies the interior for sure.

I love Subic but the good thing about a girl with this "Samar" look is that they are a dime a dozen in AC and Subic so you can rinse and repeat.

BP - Early yet in my pursuit here in Subic but not all bars have had IMO doable gals. Last night I hit Rosies (CH Link) and there were only ten dancers, none I would pull. Rascals (CH Link) was much the same in addition to the bar I stumbled into after getting hammered yesterday. Don't even know the name on that one, imagine that! Could be that I was out early as is my style and others had yet to start their shifts. I did make a pull at The Office (CH Link) last night and as was the case with Catwalk it was staffed with a number of gals, a few 8's and a couple of 9's, one of which I yanked. So far The Office has had the best line up with 1500 BF pricing. With most clubs having a low patron count so far, hunting is good.

Blazers - This gal is from Mindanao but agreed, she has some Samar Girl features.

Something that strikes me about this gal, thinking back she looked much better in the bar than she now looks in these pics. Gals typically look better in the club than they do in your room but this one even more so.

Yes you're right and I failed to clarify that at night, most bars have 2 or 3 good looking girls and essentially noone chasing them. Daytime not so much. Unless you're ridiculously picky, it's quite easy to get a hot girl in your room each night LT with 1500 being the highest barfine.

In AC it ain't so easy as the posters here have noted NE Asians pluck all the good ones early and the showcase bars with their 3000 peso barfines keep the hottest ones over priced.

An aside to that, why don't Westerners do the same? You can get your rocks off early and then go back out bar hopping without the frenetic pussy search. Tell your girl to come by in the afternoon for swimming, she'll most likely do it. You may even find that second pull of the night too. I'm just saying.

BP - The lack of visitors is somewhat offset by a lot less bar girls in Subic. Generally speaking I would say it's been easier finding a good looking BF in Subic than AC but that doesn't mean the vast majority of gals in Subic are doable. IMO their not, just like Angeles. Others may come away with different opinions but that's been my experience this trip. Again, it's a highly fluid environment which can vary widely from one night to the next.

More like 20 years ago. The only issue I had with Subic is it's a very small town and a week kills it. I'm anticipating something of a similar nature when I visit Cebu. We'll see but somebody's gotta do it :o)

Blazers I spent 5 days there last trip in March. I did indeed have a great time. Some really sweet girls there. 5 days is about long enough though as you run out of bars and end up seeing the same girls over and over again.

AC will be toast when I start going back to Thailand not Subic. I am a creature of inertia and so far still have a great time in AC. When I no longer have a blast in AC it's time to head back to my LOS home.
