Once upon a scuba dive, I was drifting with the current along the reef when I looked behind me and saw zillions of brilliantly-colored fish following me! I had dumped two bags of corn flakes into a plastic shopping bag that I attached to my weight belt. Turns out there was a small hole in the bag and I had been leaking corn flakes.
I had the same feeling last night in Tickles (CH Link). I gave a girl a 50-peso note (a little over a buck) for pleasuring me, and a 20-peso note to another whom I had already bought a drink for. I was looking through my wallet for more small notes when I looked up and saw that I had instantly been surrounded by seven bikini-clad girls plus a waitress. "Ooh, he's giving money away!" Instant feeding frenzy.
The selection at Tickles isn't nearly as good as it was in September. But there are other bars and along Burgos and they're nearly devoid of customers. Last night when I went into Tickles it was nearly 10 p.m. and there were only two other customers.
But Makati will be the subject of a new report...
