This is a short report on a couple of days I spent in Phuket last year. I was very busy in the very short time I spent there, so I didn't take the best notes and can't provide as much detail as I would like to.

I also didn't do any research before heading there, and as a result, wasted some time when I got there. Anyone considering visiting Phuket should head straight to Patong. Patong is the beach area where most of the action is centered, both sex and tourist activities. The heart of the sex scene is near the intersection of Ratuthit Songroipi(Rat-u-Thit Road) and Bangla Road. Most of the go-go's are on Bangla Road, but Christin Massage and some other places are nearby on Rat-u-Thit.

Not knowing any of this at the time, I headed to Phuket Town instead of Patong and found myself a cheap room near the Pearl Hotel after some searching around with another traveler I met.

The first night I checked out the Pink Lady Club (CH Link) on Suthat Rd near Luang Pho What Road. This intersection is a little confusing because Suthat Road becomes Montri Road south of the intersection while the western part of Luang Pho What is Dibuk Road. There is at least one other place, I believe two, that are called Pink Lady. I had read about them elsewhere and a member here who goes by Crazier mentions them in the Phuket section. One place is called Pink Lady Cafe and the other he calls Pink Lady JS. They have different addresses than the place I visited. My understanding at the time was that one or both of them were either more or exclusively karaoke places where sex wasn't on the menu or wasn't guaranteed. That didn't interest me, so I didn't bother visiting them, although I did happen to walk in front of one of the places.

Back to the Pink Lady Club. I visited in the late evening and was the only customer there. I didn't like the feel of the place. The lady there explained the pricing to me. According to my notes, it was 200 baht for my drink, 200 baht for lady drinks, and 200 baht for "sitting time" with me. If I wanted to barfine any of them, the price was 3000 baht. I thought the price was way too high and didn't even find anyone very attractive, so I just had a drink there and left.

I did some wandering around, but the town was dead. I decided to just get some rest and figure out what to do in the morning.

I got up early to do a little research and to explore around. I discovered there was some kind of massage parlor right across the street connected to the Pearl Hotel, and another one that was supposedly next to or inside the Grand Plaza Hotel that wasn't far either.

I stopped in at the Pearl Hotel (CH Link) first, around 1pm. There were about 15 women available, but none too attractive. The quoted rate was 2600 baht. I told them I would be back later, but I didn't mean it.

The Grand Plaza wasn't far, but unlike the Pearl Hotel, I didn't see anything resembling a massage parlor and the place looked more upscale. I didn't feel comfortable asking anyone there about massage or sex. I decided to just forget about Phuket Town and save my energy for Patong.

I didn't take notes about how much I paid to get to Patong, but I remember it was via a bus that wasn't too expensive and took less than an hour. (OK, according to Google it's 25 baht for a 30-45 minute ride from the Phuket Bus Station) Once we got to Rat-u-Thit, it was much more of what I was expecting with lots of activity and a touristy feel. I was very happy to be out of Phuket Town.

I didn't have a hotel reservation, but it didn't take too long to find an inexpensive one off a side street. I'll have to look for old paperwork before I can say for sure, but I either stayed at The Bird Cage or a hotel to the right of it. According to Google Maps the street is called Rat Uthit 200 Pi 1.

Once I got settled in, my first stop was Christin Massage (CH Link) to the south past Bangla Road. The place was huge, pink, and very easy to find.

Despite the size of the building, I wasn't very impressed with the women available in the early evening. I spent almost two hours trying to decide which one I wanted. The sessions were 80 minutes long, so I think I got a look at everyone in the daytime shift. Eventually I chose #1, a very pretty spinner from Issan. The price was 3000 baht for the 80 minutes.

I think I got the most attractive women there. She had a beautiful face and a tight, sexy body that she knew how to move, but she disappointed with a covered bj. Fortunately, the sex was good at least.

I did some exploring after Christin which included checking out the beach, checking the bars and shops along Bangla Road, and the shops, hotels, and everything else on Rat-U-Thit. Later that evening I got dinner at a seafood restaurant on Rat-U-Thit. The food was good, but as impressive as I had hoped it would be.

On the way back to Bangla from the restaurant, I was overtaken by a beautiful masseuse in front of a place called Mint Massage (CH Link). The place appeared to be a legit massage parlor, but I couldn't turn down the beautiful Noy.

When I saw the "room" consisted of an area separated by nothing but a curtain, I didn't expect anything, but Noy offered extras eventually. I agreed to a bj, but she would only offer covered. She did very well considering it was with a condom, but when she took it off to finish me with a handjob, it was amazing, one of the best handjobs I ever had.

I was so mesmerized by Noy I completed forgot to take note of the price I paid for the massage or for the extras, but I didn't forget to get pictures of her.

I was spent from the full day, so I didn't feel like bar/gogo hopping that night. I also had some tourist activities scheduled for the next day, so I didn't want to deal with bringing someone back to the hotel. I wandered around for a little while but checked in early so I could get some needed rest.

I don't have a whole lot to write about my last day in Phuket. The earlier part of the day was taken up by a tour to Ko Phi Phi. I also did a bunch of shopping since I was returning to the states soon.

In the evening I walked through the Soi SeaDragon complex on Bangla Road. There were a bunch of small gogos in there with beer bars occupying the middle area. There were a bunch of games set up involving driving a nail into some kind of stump surrounding the beer bars, but I didn't try any of them. I scanned the women in the beer bars, but none really stood out. The gogos I visited were Suzy Wong's A Gogo (CH Link), Lólita A Gogo (CH Link), and Playschool A Gogo (CH Link). I think I might have walked in a couple more, but I didn't write down the names. There were some cute women, but none of them really impressed me.

The Tiger disco (CH Link) was a place I would have liked to have visited, but with the short time I had in Phuket, I thought it better not to gamble with freelancers, especially on my last night.

I eventually ended up at Rock Hard A Go Go (CH Link), which in my opinion clearly had the best talent of anywhere else I went in Phuket. My prize ended up being a very pretty spinner named Rat. I was surprised at the high price I was quoted, but based on the walk through SoiDragon earlier and lack of finding many beauties in general, I went ahead and paid up. The time with Rat set me back 600 baht for the barfine and 4000 baht for her.

Before going to the hotel, we stopped at some bar to play pool and have a few drinks. Rat was cool and playful and got me looking forward to our time in the room.

In bed, Rat was a little disappointing. She wasn't bad, she just wasn't worth the higher price I paid. I got a few more pictures of her before sending her on her way. Unfortunately, none of the pictures I took seem to have captured her beauty, she just wasn't that photogenic.

I left early the next day, so that was my trip to Phuket. I didn't have nearly enough time to explore this part of Thailand thoroughly, but I feel I got a decent sense of what it was like and what to expect in the future. For general tourism, it's nice with the beach, numerous activities, regular bars, and other things to do, but for the sex scene it clearly trails Bangkok and Pattaya. At least it's better than Chiang Mai.
