Can't agree here at all. Ya tourists go there and try to turn it to a western bar experience (hang out, buy drinks, flirt, etc). My MO is buy a drink, scope out the lay of the land, interview briefly (usually don't need to buy anyone a drink), and if i see something I like - we're heading back to my room.
