This isn't a detailed trip report - it was originally intended only as a new response to D'Art's recent report grading his recent TJ experiences. But given the length and breadth being beyond my original intent, I'm putting it in as a separate TR.

FWIW, I just returned from a full week in TJ but still didn't get enough quality time in the bars other than Tropical (CH Link) and Adelita's (CH Link) to offer a qualified grade for the current cycle of chicas.

As usual the results I can report were counter-intuitive. I spent Tuesday afternoon in the zona and that's a time when I certainly haven't seen much happening during the rare opportunities I've had to check out the action. It was different years ago when there was a classic core of weekday dancers who made this bar big time fun on the otherwise quietest mid-week afternoons.

Last Tuesday though I was pretty surprised to find a nice supply of doables in Tropical - maybe 15 chicas overall and only a couple of them were out of the question rejects. On the other hand, only a couple were genuinely compelling. One very innocent looking young one I met (Fernanda) was compelling because of super seductive bedroom eyes Sweet face, big natural rack but a bit zaftig down the middle. But turns out she had an AB type attitude and after talking for awhile I discover she has a year of experience at AB before switching to Trop. I passed.

Moving on to AB looking for the other side of the coin - an ex-Trop favorita who I heard was back working at AB. Adelita's in its best days was dreary during mid-week days but could be lots of fun with some high spirited chicas throwing me outrageous attention with few customers around. This time though the bar was fairly packed with overall very good looking young chicas - this was the best overall collection I viewed all week in TJ for any shift - yup, Tuesday afternoon at AB. I didn't look around long because shortly after sitting down to catch up with a long time amigo, an iconic early-20's morena spinner named Irma jumped into my lap. For my particular taste, Irma is as good as it gets. Really sweet, spectacularly teen model cute, brand new and probably new enough to be like an unspoiled Tropical FOB. But unfortunately, I passed going up with her then and there as going up at that moment did not fit my overall agenda (I always counsel newbies not to be a slave to an agenda in TJ - go with the breeze). So I was sure I'd catch up to her later in the week but never in fact got back inside AB again during the day. If she's there my next time down she will likely be out of her fresh and unspoiled phase. Fuck, I should follow my own advice!

To my further surprise, AB that Tuesday night was horrible - no fresh material and lots of oversold panocha that was on the market going back to 2000 and even into the 20th Century. For me it was nothing less than a disgusting sight especially in light of the surprising wealth of fresh chicas that same afternoon. However, a TJ newbie who is happy to work with mature sex workers would have a different perspective. I just don't want to see these chicas parading around anymore (one of them in the same outfit she wore 13 years ago when she was one of the most notorious sharks ever - and the outfit was as faded as her former beauty). Yecch!

Back in AB last night (Saturday) during prime time: Lots of decent chicas but only a handful of fresh real beauties. As always a decent number of veteran hotties who I just look past as I am aware of their reputations for being classic AB room robots.

Spent some time during several mid-week day and night shifts at HK (CH Link), mostly night. Tons of chicas with decent to great bodies and average faces. I'm a face guy. Wasn't interested. Of course a few classics who have been around awhile. Mostly new faces for me, but no new stunners.

Chicago Club (CH Link) on Thursday night - what can you say at this point? Worse than ever because they've now lost their small core of loyal hot dancers who hung on through thin and thinner. There were about 15 chicas present, 8-9 of them in the sad category. A few average ones. Cute half Japanese Yoko/Lizette is always there - one of the last remaining standouts. Saw a couple of good new young ones. One a true doll face with a beautiful B rack who looks 15 but claims 21. Her name is Allie or something like that. Thought she was possibly nervous but after buying her a drink I concluded she just has a lousy personality or is AB-like mercenary or just doesn't have the energy to try to be decent company for an old broken down gabacho. Passed.

LC (CH Link) had a few appealing ones on Tuesday afternoon - either sweet and fresh looking edecanes or a couple of slutty young ones who looked like they know how to get it done. The rest of my LC walk throughs during the week were fruitless. Surprising as this place has been so active there has usually been some chicas to get excited about over the last couple of years when I've been there.

SGs (CH Link) were fewer in number than I expect - plenty of cuties including chicas new to my eyes. Overall though, selection has been better and worse at other times.

Attended Sampson's fiesta on Saturday night in Manhattan Bar. Even though only a small percentage of his stable of escorts (CH Link) appeared to advertise their goods, I was impressed with a higher percentage of the ones who did appear than I have usually been in the past. A couple of real beauties and a few others who were just fucking sex bombs if not drop dead gorgeous. Chicas are definitely hotter than their pics on Sampson's site.

Bottom line is I'd be impressed by what I saw overall during the week if I didn't have as many years of TJ behind me. I'm jaded plain and simple. Also too physically broken down to cover the territory I once did and work the chicas the way they sometimes need to be worked in TJ.

It was an excellent week for me nevertheless - most of the bliss coming from spending days of quality time with a long time novia who has been a civilian for many years after a brief career in the zona. Came upon a few other special chicas who delighted me, and a couple who were sweet, mischievous and/or hot in the bars, but merely adequate in the room (Joselina and Carina - both AB nights).

Would love to hear any reports about Irma (AB Tuesday afternoon) and also a stunning 19 year old newbie I spent the night with in Tropical on Thursday until the sun came up (but NOT in the room). Her bar name is Brittney. Everything you want in Tropical except she portrays herself as an old school newbie 2 days in at Trop who does not go to the room. Nevertheless, the encounter grew progressively warmer as night became a new day. In my best days in TJ I cherished the opportunities to gain confianza of a chica like this and end up with over the top GFE bliss in the hotel or better, outside the zona, after a series of quick "Tao of Steve" encounters in the bar over time. Now I'm not around often enough to sustain the forward momentum or even be fortunate enough to spot the chica again. Maybe I'll have some time to return next week and try to close this deal on an expedited basis. Anybody encountered this sparkling new item?
