About a month ago spent a few days in the DR at an all inclusive resort in Puerto Plata with a girl I flew in from Rio (Gol Airlines has a direct flight). Her flight left the night before mine, so I decided to stay in Boca Chica one night. Did not really think I was going to monger, but rather get blastered and just hang out one night. Stayed at a dump of an all inclusive resort, Don Juan.

Considering myself an experienced monger who has seen pretty much everything including plenty of scams, I was pretty relaxed after downing a bunch of El Presidente beers at the main street of Boca Chica. Knowing I could not take a girl back to the Hotel, i pretty much had resigned to just getting drunk and getting some rest before flying out the next morning.

Some hot, skinny, and petite girl sat next to me.... she chatted with me for awhile, which eventually led to me buying her a beer as well. I told her I was not planning on doing anything that night and she was not being too pushy. A couple of times she got up, left the bar, and came back to sit with me.

This led up to my Rookie mistake! She convinced me to have a BJ on the beach in a hidden place. We arrived at this spot on the beach and she started to give me a BJ when two cops started walking up the beach straight towards us. I really did not feel nervous as I almost immediately felt that I had been set-up and knew what was coming next - The Police advised me that this was illegal and they would need to take me to Police station unless of course I had another suggestion (i.e $$).

As I always do, I left my wallet in my room and had limited cash on me. At this point in the night about $60 after having paid for the beer in the bar. The girl was being hysterical telling me to pay the police and most importantly her. I kept calm, even as the police asked me for $200 for "this problem". The girl also flipped from being a sweetheart to a shark, demanding payment as well. I told them I only had $60, but could get more money. The police told me that they would hold on to my $60 while i was getting more money.

I pretty much noticed by the calm demeanor of the police that I had a chance to get out of this. The police appeared to be satisfied with the $60, even so they were pushing for more. They did not ask me for a room number or more information. The psycho bitch, however, was making quite a bit of noise as there was no money given to her. I told all of them that I would go back to the hotel and come back...the police said ok, but the bitch was hanging on to me and told me she would come with me. This is when I got more aggressive and pushed her away telling her to stay the fuck away from me. She walked behind me until the beach entry of the hotel, where I told the security guards to keep her away from me. I walked into the resort with her screaming, ducked into a couple of alley's and the back way into my hotel so she could not tell the room I was staying in.

That's it...stayed there, took a shower, and went to sleep.

Well, an embarrassing Rookie mistake that cost me $60....but quite an adventure to put in my list of long experiences.

In the end, however, I wonder how this would have ended had I not stayed at an inclusive resort and could take her back to my room! Getting her out of my room while trying to pull a scam on me would have been alot worse.

Well, I suppose it was an expensive BJ (if fully consummated), but I do find it pretty fucking funny that the cunt was left empty-handed while the cops got her full commission. Just don't tell folks that you went to the DR and paid two cops for a BJ

I wish she had at least fully finished the BJ, but it was a 2 minute fake out to wait for her police buddy's to arrive. Oh well!

Do you think the police gave her a cut of the $60? I'm guessing they told her she was on her own. If she's as stupid as most such putas are, she'll threaten them and then end up with a knife in her back.

Another example of why I will never return to the DR. It's a corrupt 3rd world shithole with mostly ugly chicas who are either unskilled or disinterested when it comes to sex. Every single person you meet is trying to figure out how to rip you off. It's several steps below TJ on this monger's rating scale, and I dislike TJ enormously.

Unfortunately I second your opinion about the DR. It seems to be hit or miss to get good service. Most do seem out to rip you off and you never know how the girls will turn out when they get back to the room. I pretty much have written of the DR for mongering. In this case it was really more of a trip to hook up with a girl from Rio who could travel there without a Visa. For me flying in the girl and spending time at the all-inclusive resorts in Puerto Plata were good from a cost and hassle perspective.

Also, when I compare this to Rio - I always had the upper hand with the police and bitches giving me trouble (Never allowed myself to get caught up in any of the scams outside Help or Balcony Bar). Never was too worried if the police was called and handling the situation was manageable since I speak Portuguese. In the DR I don't have that same feeling with the cops - they definitely seem to go to the side of the girls almost always, so the girls have much more power to screw you over.

I did a trip report on Santo Domingo six years ago. My assessment - look elsewhere. That may not apply to all areas in the DR, and I now that Sosua has a ton of proponents. But, I thought the place was a mongering hell.

I haven't considered going back. Not even for a second. I have no recollection at all of any of the girls I was with.

When I read "on the beach in a hidden place," I thought, "Oh, no." In Mexico this could have turned into a much uglier scene than it did.

Though negative, this is still a good report if it saves somebody from checking it out.

I'm with Bwana on TJ. All Latin American countries are about the same, as far as I'm concerned, full of peddlers hawking useless junk. Americans are generally regarded as wealthy, stuck-up villains who are somehow responsible for poverty/social inequity.

Its a damn shame, since it is so close to where I live now (Miami). For sure I would not have done this in Mexico and get strung up by my legs on some bridge somewhere :-) In the DR I do not get the same level of danger, but the rip-off factor is a huge consideration!!

At least my girl visiting from Rio worked out good, so not really a big loss. Just one night of hassle.
