Philippines follow up report

It has now been 15 months since my first trip to the Philippines. In this time I have done a little mongering in Bangkok, Pattaya, Singapore, Tijuana and Rio DeJaneiro. I figured that I am due for a return trip to the Philippines. My chance came when it became necessary for me to make a ten-day business trip to Hong Kong. I managed to get permission to take 4 days off in the middle of this trip so I booked a flight from Hong Kong to Manila. About a week before departing for Hong Kong I was talking to a Filipino coworker named Jesse who mentioned that while I would be in Hong Kong he was making a return trip to his hometown in the Philippines. I said nothing about the little side trip I had planned to Angeles. I began to wonder. What are the chances that we would run into each other? At first I thought the chances were zero. The next day he mentioned that the town he would be staying in was named Concepcion. This meant nothing to me until I checked the location on a map. Concepcion is about 20km from Angeles. Jesse also told me he was making this trip without the company of his wife. Now I am starting to worry! I would be 12 time zones away from home but I was facing the possibility of having my favorite hobby being discovered. I certainly wasn’t about to change my plans but I must say I was looking over my shoulder for much of the trip. I will tell you now that our paths never did cross, so my dark secret is still unknown to all that know me.

I won’t bore you with details about the flight from Hong Kong to Manila and the taxi to Angeles. I stayed at the Orchid inn again. I find this hotel acceptable although I will probably try somewhere else next time.

The first night I wasn’t feeling real energetic so I made a quick round at a few bars before picking out Marcella from the Voodoo Bar. I had good but not great time with Marcella. She looked a lot better in the bar.

The second night I toured many bars along Fields Avenue before selecting Angela at the Cambodia Club. According to Angela this was her very first barfine. I am not sure if I buy this story but I definitely had a great time with her. I did Angela three times before we parted company the next morning.

I have to change my opinion a little on the Santos Street scene. I ended up having the best sessions of this trip with a pair of attractive young ladies from the Wow bar. Regina and Jennifer are both young, friendly and great in bed. I ended up doing Jennifer twice and Regina 3 times. The price was 500 pesos for short time which was more expensive than my last trip but still an unbelievable bargain. Most Santos Street sessions are done in a dumpy back room. These two girls gladly came back to my room at the Orchid Inn for a more leisurely session. There was no extra charge to take the girls offsite for up to 2 hours. Be aware that you will likely run into a few ladyboys along Santos Street. Unlike some in Thailand you should have no problem at all recognizing the ladyboys of Santos Street. Jennifer is the more photogenic of the two but Regina is also quite attractive. Both are highly recommended.

Now for a quick update on the massage scene in Angeles. The BodyTite massage parlor at the corner of Fields and MacArthur has been renamed Clockwise Massage. This remains my recommendation for a good massage for 300 pesos for one hour. Note that extra services are NOT available here. A new shop has opened up about 100m west of Macarthur on Fields Avenue. If my memory is correct the name is Imee Massage. A one hour oil massage costs 500 pesos. I received a complimentary HJ here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my three days in Angeles. Every girl I have met here has been very friendly and has had a great attitude. To be honest three days was enough for me in Angeles. Unlike the other destinations I have been to, I find nothing in Angeles interests me other than the incredible bar and hooker scene. I am sure I will return but it will be another side trip while visiting some other Asian destination.

After three days and nights in Angeles I made my way back to Manila for one night prior to returning to Hong Kong. I stayed at the Heritage hotel again. That evening I crossed the street to check out the action at the EDSA entertainment complex. My first stop was at the Cotton Club. Cammile who I had met during my last trip, 15 months earlier, immediately approached me. She did not remember me. I did not mention that we had previously met. After a quick drink I decided there was nothing of great interest to me here, so I packed up and headed to The PitStop. A 20 year old by the name of Lucy approached me shortly after ordering a drink for myself. Lucy was very friendly and I decided that I would invite her over to my room to spend the evening. After figuring in the barfine the cost for Lucy’s company was 3000pesos. This is roughly triple the cost of a comparable experience in Angeles. I guess I shouldn’t complain because this converts to about $55US. I had a great time with Lucy and would recommend her services to anyone who stops by EDSA. This is the end of the exciting part of my trip, as I had to fly back to Hong Kong for 3 more days of work prior to heading home. Back in Hong Kong the price shock really starts to set in. In 2 days I have gone from a great short time session from a Santos Street girl for about $9US to a very good session in Manila for $55US. Now I am sitting in a Hong Kong hotel room staring at a can of coke in the hotel minibar with an $8US price tag on it.
Oh to be back in Angeles. For sure I will return.

This report is a year old. Does anyone know if Pamela is still at the Pit Stop, at the EDSA complex? I hope a year's additional experince there hasn't changed her too much!
