My last Guide to Angeles City was very shallow in details and really didn't spell out what to do and where to go. This is a current guide and I have now been there 4 times in 8 months, so my experience is current and fairly accurate. Here goes.....Eveyrone feel free to add their opinions as opinions vary widely as do tastes.

Blazers, excellent resource, please keep them coming. I disagree with a phrase or two from time to time and kind of laugh every time you obsess about Filipino males, but there is a shitload of quality info in these posts.

Just wait till I get to the Tips and Scams section. You wont look at as an obsession but rather heightened reality once you've been there 3 or 4 times. You will have just as much fun but wont look at things with such rose colored lenses. BTW, Filipino guys in the US are the coolest dudes in the world but the shitty ones are still left in the PI.

You're a TOURIST, man. The girls have lives above and beyond pleasing the occasional visitor in her job as a bargirl. So what if they have boyfriends? So they make fucked up choices in their personal lives? Isn't that consistent among sex workers on a global scale? You expect them to wait for YOU, Mr. kick 'em out before breakfast?

I pay for a service, once that service is delivered, I'm happy and it's time to set my sights on another. Her personal life doesn't enter the equation whatsoever, unless of course it mucks up her delivery of service.

I could care less what they do with their lives...the problem is when their personal lives carry over into their professional life and it does big time when they have local boyfriends. If the guys treated the girls well....we wouldn't have a problem. I have been there many times but guys that go there once usually fall in love in one way or another and I just want to warn them about what may go on when they are not around. There is a bit of venom in my comments toward local Filipino men but that because I have seen what havoc they bring to the girls lives....If you have been there a few times you cant help but feel for the girls who are victims at times of these predators. The girls make bad decisions but they are also victims of circumstance. You cannot discuss mongering without some of the surrounding sociological factors.

How about the fucked up psyche that results from being in a bar and getting sweet talked by a rich porriner, getting wined and dined, (Maybe you wine them and dine them for a WEEK if they're a cherry girl, di ba?) treated really nice, like a true girlfriend, and then getting unceremoniously DUMPED at the guy's convenience the next day? Who exactly is causing the 'sociological problems' there? So you have some money. So what? They all SHOULD know that you're there for variety, not to find a wife. Doesn't make you a more attractive option than a guy that can convince them that he truly cares about them. How they DON'T grow to hate customers is something that is truly great about Filipinas. The switch clicks for Mexican girls within a month of starting working. Boyfriend or not.

The differece is that Filipinas dont last very long in the bars....the turnover is much higher...after a couple of us crush their dreams that we made them believe...they go back to the province with their tail between their legs....Mexicanas come back as soon as their money runs out. I think a Filipina would rather roll the dice with a tourist who may fall in love with them and take them to the US vs. a Filipino who will get them pregnant and leave. THey never stick around and never support them after pregnancy...kanos feel obligated to do so and sometimes do support them. The other BIG difference is that many girls survive on tourists SENDING them money but the local Filipinos TAKE their money instead and use the girls. We all bullshit them and crush their dreams but at least we dont take their money.

I see where you're going with this but you need to get a few more trips under your belt before you can truly understand these bargirls. Blazers’ right on the money with regards to how kanos treat the bargirls. If you really want to spare these girl's from heartbreak then don't be so nice to them. Tell them they're cute and you that want to fuck the shit out of them all night long. These girls’ know the score and they now how to play the game – better than us I might had. The bottom line is: They are providing us a service. We give them money and they give us love and lust. Don't look at it any harder than that. I did one time and all it brought me was grief.

Great report. Like you said, we see things pretty much eye-2-eye. I hope to post updates on my trip last month. And of course, i will have new material at the end of this month from another almost 3-week stay.

Blazers, I'm in Angeles City and I've been using your travel guide like a bible. It's been dead on. I reconfirmed everything that you've said about the scams with a mamasan that I took out recently. Everything is still up to date. I'd just like to add a few more things, if you go out with a group of friends, please insist on SEPARATE bill buckets. This makes it less easy for them to slip an unrequested lady dance in your bill bucket and you can keep an eye on your friend's bill bucket too. Also make sure that they cash out the bill bucket in your presence, and do not take it to the side where they can mix in another bill. This happened to me in the Cambodia bar and I complained to the waitress, the head waitress and the mamasan. Watch out for those games!

Cantinflas, that's a very good tip for all of us. We often forget to watch the bill bucket while barhopping, espec. w/an entourage. I had epic disputes at Las Vegas Bar and Misty's. Cambodia is usually aggressive w/the LDs but has been ok w/me.

I've only had one problem at Cambodia Club. Porker and I were enjoying a nice afternoon there with a few girls and he noticed one of the mamasans was throwing food at her waitresses (trying to get their attention) and telling the girls to drink faster. Not sure what exactly happened but I think "fuck off" was just one of the very nice ways I told that mamasan to mind her own business.

In that city, I've found most of the mamasans to be nothing more then the fat lady that takes your money. They are not helpful when it comes to the girls and they sure as SHIT aren't gonna give you back your money unless you drive a jeep over their legs...

While in no way an expert on AC I gotta agree with the mamasan theme. I am the leading advocate of getting up close and chummy with the mamasans in Thailand and it has paid great didvidends. Including on my last trip as I posted screwing one mamasans incredible daughter.

In AC however I never buy any mamasan drinks except for Mommy Josie - the now deceased mamasan at Bunny Ranch. She was honest and a friend to the girls. The rest as a whole - with very few exceptions are just as portrayed here- drink hustling whores who I would not trust to take care of my dirty laundry.

I gotta admit though I never check my bin box as I doubt I could remember who ordered what and where by the time I leave most bars. When you travel with a harem like Merlin and usually I do, it ain't easy keepin track as I let the girls order whenever they wish. The majority of the girls are honest and do not abuse the privelege. Some do and are not invited again.

Asking for separate drink chit bins is automatic, as far as I'm concerned, and bill-padding is something that I've been burned on in AC several times before, especially in bigger bars with lots of waitresses. I think the waitresses in some bars are under enormous pressure to push drinks and padding bills are a way to meet their quotas.

Keeping an eye on the bin is also excellent advice, as it's still easy for stray tickets to magically appear in your bin. Every ladies' drink should have the girls name and/or # listed on it.

A couple of waitresses actually gave me some sob stories before that if I didn't pay for the drinks that THEY would have to. Sorry, you scamming CUNT, NOT MY PROBLEM.

I hate fucking Cambodia club, truly the closest thing you can find to a Clip joint on Fields. I have had numerous problems with bill padding and over the top drink pressure. That place has been on my boycott list for awhile. Although I did break the boycott the other night when showing a newbie around. I didn't see any reason to return again, except for the sweet great BJ and massage waitress Cindy who is back after a hiatus. Nice girl but don't expect a pretty girl. Then again I would just get her cell# and she will gladly come take care of you when she is of duty.

Mongerx, could be. There are four of us and we're composed of several races. 2 Mexicans, 1 Chinese, 1 Peruvian, and one small guy who is half Mexican and Greek. Last night we took our girls to the R&B club and had a good time. A cool place with a live band and decent waiters. Tomorrow we'll hit the beaches of Subic with our girls for a two night stay.
