Part I: Intro And Logistics

I somehow managed to justify a business trip to Manila not too long ago, so I thought I'd share some experiences.

My experiences may not be typical--again this was a business trip so fucking girls was not the primary goal here. (Ok, to be honest it was, but I love my work as well and had to work during the daytime hours most days.) That did cut into the time available for evening activities.

I flew from the East Coast of the US on United. I'm used to travel but damn it was a long trip. Arrived in the evening and I had arranged for a pickup from a work colleague.

I stayed at the Best Western La Corona hotel (CH Link). It is on Del Pilar just a few blocks from Robinsons Mall and, more importantly, the (in)famous Manila Bay Cafe (CH Link). I liked the location as I was doing some work not too far from the area, so that meant I didn't have to spend too much time commuting. I also knew that MBC would be my primary venue most evenings so again, the location was great.

I paid 2500php for what I think they called a 'deluxe' room, not the basic one but not a suite.

The hallways of the hotel were a bit dated, but the room was renovated and quite nice. It's not a five-star place, but the price isn't either. I think it's a nice balance of price and quality.

They tried to charge me for a slightly late checkout, but after I spoke with the manager they backed off. Still, it's something to be aware of if you have an evening flight out. At the very least, it's best to ask ahead (as I did) to get it all worked out ahead of time.

No problem with girls of course-though I never tried more than one at a time.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd stay there again or if I'd go for one of the more basic places closer to the mall. I mean, the girls liked the room but they didn't seem to care that much, and I'm not really picky. Still, it was clean, affordable and not a bad location. So I could certainly recommend it without hesitation.

Getting around town is relatively easy, unless it's rush hour. Taxis are cheap and I had no problems, other than trying to get around at rush hour when the taxis often either refuse to take you long distances or ask for exorbinant fees. It's normal to pay an extra 100 PHP or so for a long, rush hour trip, but sometimes they'll ask for something crazy like 500PHP to get from Malate to Makati.

Malate is kind of a run down area, but if you're aware of your surroundings and somewhat street-smart, you should have no problems. I walked around at all times of the day and night and never had any real security concerns. Just avoid tight spots, even i that means walking in the street instead of the crowded sidewalks.

There are a ton of food options around Malate, including Robinson's Mall which offers everything from local food to Western chain restaurants.

The mall also sells pretty much everything you might need. I bought a SMART sim card there for my phone which worked great, although the 3g internet was rather slow and unreliable.

Part II: Internet Girls and Random Hookups

I had intended to rely on two main venues for finding girls, the Manila Bay Cafe and internet dating site girls. More on MBC later.

A few weeks before my trip I set up profiles on Date in Asia and Filippino Cupid. I prefer the latter because the site allows the girls to post more photos.

I probably wasn't forward enough on my profile. I really didn't want to mislead girls and make them think I was looking for a serious relationship so I was kind of vague, but I probably should have been more up front about what I wanted.

I had a dozen or so phone numbers before my trip, and pretty much every girl I wrote to wanted to meet up. Due to my busy work schedule, I found making these arrangements somewhat complicated. To make things worse, I wasn't sure each day when I'd finish work, so it was hard to set up meeting times.

In the end, I only met up with one girl. She was really sweet, but a bit of a 'good girl' and I know she was looking for a relationship. I took her to dinner and enjoyed her company, but then cut her loose.

I think these sites can be valuable but my advice is to be more honest about what you want, assuming you're not looking for a real girlfriend and the drama that would surely follow.

I had better luck at Robinson's Mall. It's a Western-style mall near the Pedro Gill LRT station, it's somewhat impossible to miss if you're in the neighborhood, since it is quite large.

There are always a few pros out front, they're obvious and some may be not 100 percent female. I never sampled any of them, since frankly I never saw one who struck my fancy.

I found the girls in Manila to be very approachable and kind in general. I picked up one waitress at Fridays just by chatting her up. After she got off work we walked around a bit then she came back to the hotel and spent the night. It was a fun night. She didn't seem all that experienced but she had a wild side, and was a really nice girl. No money asked for, but I slipped her 2k as she left. We repeated a few days later on her day off, we actually spend the day together since I was not working and she spent the night again.

I met another few girls just walking around and had similar experiences. Mostly I did this by just asking for directions or making other small talk, then flirting with the girl and asking her to get coffee or dinner. I probably tried this 15-20 times, and five times it led to a date. Of those five, all ended up in my hotel room. One asked for cab fare, the others asked for nothing. But none turned down 2k for their family or a taxi or whatever.

One thing I never managed to do was get one of those cute little Robinson's department store girls. I wanted one to wear her uniform, but no luck. I'm sure management frowns on such things, or maybe they just didn't like me.

So I wish I had more time to develop my online contacts, but in the end I found the Mall a better hunting ground. I've always had decent luck with women, but I'm pretty sure anyone can meet these girls. I'm 36, in decent shape and I have visible tattoos the girls seem to like. But I'm not exactly a model either. I think the important thing is to treat the girls with respect and to be friendly and fun.

They're real girls, after all. And human just like us.

Part III: Manila Bay Cafe

In the end I spent most of my time at Manila Bay Cafe. It's a somewhat famous expat/freelancer bar on the corner of Del Pilar and Salas Streets a few blocks from Robinson's Mall.

I'm not going to go through a play-by-play, I spent two weeks there and fucked a dozen or so different girls from MBC, I just repeated with two who I will mention below.

I really like MBC, but then I like freelance bars in general. It's a crazy place that everyone should visit at least once. The girls range from 1's to some really solid 9's if you look hard. The hottest girls seem to hang out either upstairs or in the room down the hallway to the right from the main bar area. The hottest girls there seem a bit standoffish or cold at first. Often they congregate around the Korean guys. One girl clued me in to the rule of three-she said the Korean guys have 3-inch dicks, they pay 3000 pesos and they are done in 3 minutes. (This was told to me by a girl, I'm not making any statements about the sexual prowess of Korean guys, since I have no first-hand information on the topic.) If there are no Koreans around, these a-list girls congregate in groups and sit around talking amongst themselves.

My first day or two I ended up somewhat frustrated. I pulled sweet girls, but not the hottest ones. I sat there turning down the constant stream of ugly girls and ended up sitting alone. And it's like any real club, the hot girls aren't going to approach a loser sitting alone. After a few days I made friends with some of the bartenders (some of whom are really hot, BTW). I also got over my fear of rejection and would just approach the groups of hot girls to chat them up. They are real people, not automated hookers, so if you're fun and interesting and if you engage them in conversation, you can pull any girl in the place and you'll have a great time.

I was staying at the Best Western La Corona down the street, but I decided I wanted to limit, somewhat, the number of girls I brought back. Not because of any rules at the hotel, the hotel was fine with girls. But I knew some of my work colleagues might occasionally be at or near my hotel, and I didn't want any crazy girls around. So I generally read the situation and if I thought a girl might be crazy, high-maintenance or a problem, I took her to a short-time hotel.

If you walk out of MBC and turn to your left, a few doors down there is a pretty nice hourly hotel. It's almost next door, there is a hallway that leads into the building and no sign. The girls mostly know the place, though a few of the newbie girls don't. It was 400 pesos for three hours. The place was very clean and I had no problems. Went over time once or twice and no one cared. Once my girl and I fell asleep and I think we were there for five hours, no problem. It was late though and not busy, not sure if this is standard procedure. I also tipped and flirted with the cute girl at the desk.

Most of the girls at MBC will ask for 2-3000 pesos. The hot ones will at least. But almost all will take 2000 and many will take 1500 if you're really nice to them, at least in my experience. Again, I'm not too old, not too ugly, they liked my tattoos, etc. So YMMV. But I'm not rich and not extremely good looking either. So I think my experiences were normal.

Anyway, I ended up with some really pretty girls, and at least two who were solid 9's. One, was very slim with large natural tits and a really pretty face. She was amazing. The first time we went to the short-time hotel next door. She was obviously a bit new at this, but she was a great fuck and everything was on the menu. She never talked money and I gave her 2000. I met her three days before I left, and I ended up spending my last two nights with her too. Second night she came back to my hotel and spent the night. After some great sex before bed and in the morning, I totally forgot to pay her, and she didn't ask. I felt really bad but I didn't realize it until a while after she left. On the last night I expected her to be pissed at me, but she said nothing about it and was very passionate. It's a good thing I was leaving the next day since I easily could have fallen for that girl. She gave me her number and cried when I told her I was leaving. She didn't ask for money again but I slipped 3K into her purse when she left. She texted me all the next day until my plane took off. Ok, I kind of did fall for her which I never do with a working girl.

My other notable MBC experience was with one of the waitresses. She was really cute and I had to work her for more than a week, but it eventually paid off with a wild night at my hotel. When she left in the morning I felt funny about paying her, I had gotten to know her so well that it felt wrong. So I asked her if she needed money for a taxi or something. She explained that she was a waitress and doesn't do this for money, but that she'd take 200 PHP for the taxi (which is probably not far off from what it would cost since she lived on the outskirts of the city), so I obliged.

I saw her two other nights, both nights we had dinner and one night we saw a movie before retiring to the hotel until morning. To be honest I kind of fell for her a bit too.

So in the end it was a great trip. I wanted some more personal, less professional experiences and the trip succeeded in that regard. I really love the German FKK scene, but sometimes it's a bit too easy and efficient. Manila was just the antidote I needed.

One thing I never managed to do was make it to other parts of Manila. It's kind of a pain to get around. And if you try to get a taxi to another part of town in the evening, it can be difficult. Some outright refuse and some want large amounts of cash. One day I planned to check out Makati but I gave up after the first few taxi drivers said no or wanted a huge fare. I'm sure it's easier at other times of day, but when I finished work in the early evening it was very difficult.

I do somewhat regret not checking out some of the other mongering spots. But there's always next time. I had a great trip and can't wait to return.

Thanks for sharing! In case you didn't know, DIA is almost 100% bar or ex bsrgirls, not quite the sweet naive girls one may think at first.

Ya, 2k for a hot freelancer isn't too bad LT IMHO.

By Brewmeisterbro on Monday, March 31, 2014 - 11:57 pm:  Edit

If your handle is Likemflat, that tells me a lot about what these girls looked like. I prefer reports with photos but you needn't bother since they would probably be all flat chested.

I prefer the opposite. I like em curvey! LOL! That is why I don't bother with Asia at all. Busty girls are very rare in Asia. They exist but they are rare.

By Likemflat on Tuesday, April 01, 2014 - 05:58 am:  Edit

@brewmeisterbro

My choice of handle might have been a bit unfortunate or at least too limiting. I do, in fact, like tall, thin girls. I really go for the model-type body. I hate breast implants and I enjoy small, perkty tits. But there's nothing nicer than a really thin girl with large natural breasts.

You're right that Filipino girls don't tend to be huge up top, but there are plenty of notable exceptions and if you generalize like that you'll miss out on some great sex. In fact the girl from MBC who I spent a few nights with was very thin with large natural breasts, she had an incredible body. I'd say they were only c-cups, but on her small frame they looked huge. One of the other MBC girls and one girl I met at the mall also were thin with solid c-cups. The rest were smaller but none were really all that flat, and since the girls were young (but always over 18 of course), they tended to have nice, perky tits.

Sorry about the lack of photos. Most of my trips are to germany and photos in the FKK clubs are not allowed, so I'm just not in the habit. I'll try for some next time.

@donmarco

I think you're right, I could tell some of the girls were pretty hardened so that's kind of why I didn't bother going to the hassle of setting up dates with them. I mean, I wasn't looking for a relationship but if I'm going to meet a hardened pro, I might as well jut hit MBC where I can choose a girl based on in-person interviews.

The one DIA girl I did meet was genuinely a nice girl. I could tell by the way she talked and acted that she was looking for something more serious than I was, and I didn't want to mislead her. There are so many available girls here that there's no need to lie to a girl to get her in bed.

By Bigpoppa on Sunday, April 06, 2014 - 01:11 am:  Edit

Nice report. I've never managed to make it to Robinson's mall, but I think I should someday. Would you say the numbers and quality of girls there justifies a few extra days in Manila before or after going somewhere else?

I do prefer picking up freelancers because most freelancer pick up havens have a much larger selection of girls in one place, which saves lots of time and money when it comes down to finding a girl you like vs barhopping all over.

By Likemflat on Monday, April 07, 2014 - 06:49 am:  Edit

@bigpoppa

I certainly had a good time at Robinsons Mall, but if you're shy or afraid of rejection you might not have a good time. You need to be bold enough to approach and flirt with random girls but also kind enough to treat them with respect and laugh it off if you get rejected, and you will. But if you're persistent and have a good attitude, you can probably find some gems.

I don't know if Robinson's is all that different from other malls in town, because of my time constraints with work I never made it over to the Mall of America or Greenbelt, but I bet they're similar.

I would definitely say it's worth spending a few days in the area. The great thing is, if you strike out at the mall you can always head over to MBC for a sure thing.

I like freelancers and freelancer bars for financial reasons. I'm not cheap but I do live on a budget. I'd rather have my money go to the girls than to some club owner for overpriced drinks and barfines.

By Bruceleeroy on Saturday, April 12, 2014 - 04:40 am:  Edit

Thanks for the report! I'm putting out an Angeles City report soon before I get to work on my Manila report. It's quite a bit different from yours. I visited MBC, Amazonia, and G-Point, but spent much more time on Burgos and in Edsa. I didn't hit the malls or bother with internet gals, but I wanted to visit Cafe Havana, but I ran out of time.

I wasn't impressed with my MBC visit. There was one gal that was maybe a 9 in looks, but she didn't look friendly and didn't talk to guys that I could see. I found that part unattractive and wasn't even tempted to proposition her.

I probably would have been better off if I had considering what I ended up with at Amazonias, but I'll leave that story for my report.

By Bruceleeroy on Saturday, April 12, 2014 - 04:53 am:  Edit

Brewmeisterbro,

I agree with Likemflat and will also add to his point. I see you've focused your fun in some of the less traveled places in Mexico. How many available gals would you say are available on any given day? 50? 100? My guess would be a lot less from what I've read.

Now consider a place like Manila. Even if only 10% of the gals have nice boobs (I would estimate the percentage is actually higher) when you consider at least a couple thousand are available, you're talking about a lot more gals with big boobs. You would have to visit more places to find them, but I think you can easily find a lot more gals total with big boobs. I wouldn't recommend Manila, though. Angeles will have even more gals and the costs will be far less.

If you don't like the gals for other reasons, say you don't like the faces you've seen, then don't go...but don't let the assumed lack of curves stop you, I think you'd find a lot more available curvy gals in Manila or Angeles than you would in the places you've reported on.

I made a couple of stops at MBC during my recent trip.

The selection quantity and variety was very good indeed around 11pm and later.

I did one stop very early am out of curiousity...7ish and it was way weak.

EDSA is not worth it in my opinion...a weak version of AC...and if you cannot leave Manila than MBC or Burgos (of course more cash here) is better.

So where in Robinson do the gals congregate? Or do they just roam around? Surely there maybe some more commonly visited areas.

By Likemflat on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 - 07:48 am:  Edit

@concarne

The working pros tend to congregate near the escalators in front of Starbucks, or outside of that entrance in the circular driveway also near Starbucks.

But for girls who aren't pros, or at least not hardened pros working the scene, they're everywhere. They definitely roam but they might be easier to approach in busy areas, like near the restaurants or food court, etc. I had my best luck just approaching a single girl or a girl in a small group of two or three at most, and asking for directions.

For example, I would ask where the atm is, or where I could recharge my cell phone, etc. I also tried asking for a good place to eat and then asking if she wanted to join me, that worked a few times. I got turned down plenty of times but it was worth the trouble. I never used cheesy pick-up lines. I would just be honest and say I was traveling alone on business and that I'd love some company to chat with over dinner or coffee.

The girls are generally much more approachable than those in the US or Europe (especially the US). Also, if they reject you, they usually do so with respect and you can just smile and laugh it off.

By Concarne on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 - 09:05 am:  Edit

Likemflat,

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Will do some roaming around there next time. Both the Garden Suites and Executive Plaza Hotel are within walking distance and I stay there when I want to be in Malate/Ermita area.

Yeah the girls are very polite. Feeling rejected in the Phils should be a non issue...move on...keep trying and you will score...often without trying.

The sales girls at SM mall were swarming around me, I was just looking to buy one shirt...next thing I know 8 girls around all giggling...

Man...I shudder to think of the damage I would have done there when in my 20s...hahha...then again maybe they would have thought I was a broke dude and avoid me...hahaha.

By Greengrasser on Sunday, April 20, 2014 - 05:17 am:  Edit

Likemflat,

Excellent report. You confirmed my belief that a young normal foreign male will score without much problem with the better girls.

There are better hotels than Corona Best Western for about the same money. A new one on Mabini St near Salas St ( a short block from LA Cafe) is ??? I have to find its business card, but the name's initials are SOS. Maybe Silver Oaks Suite, or something like that.

Manila Bay Cafe changed its name back to L.A. Cafe, as of Jan 31, 2014.

Bruceleeroy,

We have similar taste. But, I am a senior, so I need a bar/club filled with women to find a decent female willing to go with me.

The few times I visited Club Havana, ground level next to Greenbelt mall (no. 3 I guess) in Makati City, it had too many competing males for me to win. But, the females did look more expensive in clothes and attitude.

I have to semi-agree or semi-disagree with you regarding curvy girls with big boobs in Ermita. They exist in Ermita bars, streets, and mall, but are fewer than Burgos clubs or Edsa Complex clubs. I think the key word is patience.

By Bkkguru on Monday, April 21, 2014 - 07:20 pm:  Edit

Greengrasser,
Yes - the name of the Hotel is:

Silver Oaks Hotel and Suite,
1520 A Mabini Street, Ermita

On Agoda it has a 2 star ranking vs. Corona Best Western which gets 3 stars.
Have you stayed at the Silver Oaks? How is the breakfast?

Thanks.

By Likemflat on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 - 06:30 am:  Edit

The Silver Oaks Hotel sounds interesting. Has anyone stayed there? Is the wifi reliable? It's a nice location.

By Concarne on Thursday, April 24, 2014 - 03:59 am:  Edit

I am curious about the Silver Oaks Hotel as well...

Usually in that area I stay at Garden Suites or the Executive Plaza...GArden Suites is better but last time I tried to book only there was a tax surcharge that brought the price to a stupid 71/night as oppossed to the Executive Plaza 41/night...so EP it was the last time.

May have to check SO hotel next time...
