It's interesting to note the effect the development of the current Hong Kong Club has had on the quality of hobbying in Tijuana. I fell out of love with Tijuana long ago, but with the marketing and management of Hong Kong in more recent years, it's hard to deny that Tijuana now has what I would consider a world-class venue. This is not to say that Tijuana, Hong Kong included, is without it's many flaws. You still have a higher than average percentage of overweight girls, and many of those that aren't are only that way because of liposuction surgery. You still have ficha sharks, girls that are quick to drink watered down and overpriced drinks. You still have girls that ask if you want to head to a room before introducing themselves or asking your name. You still have sessions that are typically 25 minutes or less, with services that more often than not involve limited to no kissing and covered blowjobs. Yet despite all these things, Hong Kong can be a blast and offer excellent sessions with some luck and technique.
Of course, Hong Kong, or any venue in TJ for that matter, will never approach the quality you can expect in most termas (Brazil), FKK's (Germany), or go-go's/soapies (Philippines/Thailand), but compared to the rest of the world as far as I know, Hong Kong offers a pretty good quality/value combination.
One thing I've wondered about is the extent to which managment has listened to foreign consultation of how to run their club. Tijuana clubs in general have a deserved reputation for poor management and poor marketing. My guess is that some higher ups at Hong Kong have really listened to American perspectives and/or hired professional help to get where they are today.
One of the things Hong Kong has done really well is the implementation of their event nites. These are most often on weekends or Thurdays, so I usually don't make it to them, but I was able to visit last Wednesday for their Lingerie Night.
I got into Tijuana a little after 7pm. Pedestrian traffic coming back was higher than usual with the line backed up to the late night counter of the duty-free shop. I walked across the bridges and grabbed a taxi for $5 to Chicago. I've started doing that more recently as I found it's often a little quicker when the cabs don't have to go the round about way or make the U-turn. It also makes it easier for me to visit Chicago given it's unfortunate state. Sometimes I find myself skipping Chicago entirely because of it's lack of talent.
Wednesday at 7:30pm wasn't good for Chicago and didn't get much better later. When I first got there, there were only three older and unattractive girls hanging out near the left side bar. I didn't know any of them. There was a familiar looking blond out front that might have been a vet from long ago, but she was a little overweight and not really my type.
Adelitas was better, but still light on talent as is typical for a weekday early evening. I made a round through the bar noting who was there for my roll call, but I didn't order a drink yet.
At 7:45pm there was a short line to get into Hong Kong, but only because of the required pat down by the door staff. It's kind of odd that Hong Kong does this as no other bars in the area do. I can't speak for Amnesia or the other places off Revolution, but in the rest of the Coahuila area bars you can just walk right in.
I was a little surprised they weren't charging a cover. They say they are always "No Cover", but usually on event nights, Thursdays, and weekend nights they require that you buy a drink at the door to enter. I usually trade the can they give me at the bar for something else, but on this night it wasn't necessary. I bought a beer anyways, though.
Event nights are usually more noticeable than this one was. The costumes and decor are usually more pronounced, but for decor this evening, all I noticed were white tablecloths and many of the girls wear lingerie all the time. In addition to that, not all the girls participated. If it weren't for the signs and the email I received in advance, I wouldn't have known it was a special night.
Talent was nice, though. Not as bad as ex-TJ veterans that haven't been recently often complain about. I easily saw a number of girls that would be attractive enough to pull in any country.
After I finished my beer around 8pm, I decided to check out Tropical, a place I often skip. Many of the regular current TJ veterans swear by this place and Las Chevalas, but it's rare that I find anyone attractive in either one. I spotted a couple on this evening, but both were busy and not as attractive as the girls I was interested in Hong Kong. One of the girls was hanging out with a customer in the newer expansion area to the left of the bar. For those that haven't been recently, Tropical is much bigger now. There weren't many people in that area, but I'm sure that changes on the weekends. They also have more VIP rooms. I've never been in one so I'm not sure what the deal is with those. I left Tropical without buying a beer, I had to get away from the music. That's another thing I don't like much about those bars, I'm not a big fan of banda and most other Mexican music.
I did a quick walkthough of Chavelas a quarter after 8pm. There were a couple girls here I could have done in a pinch, but TJ talent was harly lacking that night. I ended up walking straight through to the alley to see the street girls. It's not often that I make it to the alley.
To my surprise, there were a couple of girls that were quite cute, but I wasn't a fan of their clothes. It might seem odd, but something about the way most of them dress usually turns me off, probably mostly the gaudy looking pantyhose many of them wear. Someday I'll give another street girl a shot, but not this evening.
I spent the rest of the night mostly hanging out and walking back and forth between Adelitas and Hong Kong. Deciding on a girl was difficult, despite many of them being attractive, I've become a little jaded to many of the girls that have worked there for more than a short time. According to my roll call notes for the evening, I personally knew 74 of them and had sessioned with 39. Besides that, I'm usually just up for a single session and figure since I'm paying I should be doing different girls rather than repeats. I didn't get a new girl for this night, but I did receive a great session.
I capped off the night for $80 with a semi-favorite at Hong Kong who shall rename nameless for this particular report. She gives covered blow jobs, but the kissing and everything else is very passionate, so I don't mind. Once we got to the room she was all over me stuffing her tongue into my mouth. I love kissing, but strangely, this night it was almost too much. Maybe it was because we hadn't seen each other in a while or maybe it was just a tactic to get me to session with her more.
Regarding the pricing, the $80 quote seems to be typical for the types of girls I'm interested in for some time now. I still pay $60 at the other bars, but have come to expect the higher quote at Hong Kong.
The cab ride back and wait at the border was typical, probably 20-30 minutes or so with all of the wait confined to inside the building. It was only that long because the lines were moving slower than usual, too.

Oh, by the way, having some of the better looking (and real) girls on the Hong Kong website is a big plus. Getting photos in termas and FKK's can be problematic if possible at all, or a hassle/awkward in almost any place, so having photos of the girls on the website is a big plus. Also, the Calendar Night event, although crowded, is a great time to visit to get high quality photos of the girls. I recommend against getting the photos signed, though.
