Well, arrived in AC yesterday. This time took the new AA route to Hong Kong and then took a Cebu Pacific/Tiger Air flight from Hong Kong to Clark. The flight from DFW to Hong Kong was long - about 15-16 hours, and felt that way even in Business class. I flew in one of those new 777 with the lay down business class. Quite nice. The seats feel very private with the angling, also the big screens and huge selection of movies with the lay down bed makes it quiten nice.

Not having to make that dreadful drive from Manila to AC was nice. Not sure yet if this really saved me a lot of time, but the trip seemed nicer - I guess that final drive from the airport to AC always seems the most painful to me.

AC so far seems normal - just changing bar names. Also Santos seems to be coming back to life slowly. Certainly much more lively then the last trip. Within 10 minutes of leaving my hotel - the Wild Orchid - found one of my regulars from a year ago. She called out my name and I already knew I would be hooked up for the night. We did a little bar hoping. Since I was tired only managed about 3 bars, of which the Viking Bar stood out. Packed with nice girls. One of the waitresses I knew from another bar (that had been raided & closed) told me the new owners now are Korean. There was a good mix of clientele (A few Koreans and a few westerns), with good attitudes from the girls. Another bar that was hoping was the Q Bar - good amount of girls and good atmosphere. I also stopped by "Shooters", which had a decent amount of girls but few customers (only two, including myself). So the girls look a little bored and did mostly standing versus dancing.

My girl performed fantastic, just like the last time we saw each other. We both slept in late, even so I had a hard time staying asleep - awaking then sleeping again, I guess due to the time change and adjusting.

I might keep my girl for one more night, even so I will probably send her away for a few hours so I can get in a ST from one of the BJ Bars if I can find any decent talent.

To me plenty of nice girls around and outside the changing names of the bars the scene pretty much seems the same to me.

One of the BJ Bars has reopened as well - I forgot the name of it before, but now it has been divided in two. One part became a small convenience store and the other side reopened as the BJ bar.

I'm encouraged to hear that life as we know it has not ended in AC. Happy hunting.

Two of the Raymond Street bars (1 and 2) are fully open. The third (#4) still has a padlocked door but some very good girls are working out front. There are a half dozen great chicks down there.

As often as Fields girls disappoint, that's how often Raymond Street girl DON'T.

The BJ bars girls can be some of the more fun ones...I will load up on 3 on them on my next visit and have a deep intellectual discussion with them during my next trip...

LM: I am curious how you managed to book your particular itinerary and how much did it cost? Were you able to book everything online or did you have to buy your ticket to CRK at the airport?

The problem with the number of BJ bars dwindling down is that any decent looking girl that works at one is going to have extremely high mileage to the point where even a bbbj might be dangerous.

How did you get AA to book the tickets through with cebu/tiger air? I know that AA has a code share with Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong and CP works with Dragon air to fly into Clark, but when I tried to book that route with AA they told me it could not be done.

I was in AC a month ago, and one of the better bars there was Qbar.

I bought the ticket from Hong Kong to Clark myself, via Cebu Pacific's website. They were cheap - even with all the garbage fees added on each way and extra's (like the emergency row seat) only cost me about 3000PHP. But then again a car service from Manilla to AC would have cost me 2000php anyway (I don't do buses or try to save a dollars after having spent hours upon hours in the plane - I just want to get to my final destination as quickly as possible)

Been having a great time - one definite change I have noticed is the handling of barfines. At the BJ bar the girl herself handled the money with the mamasan not wanting to touch and telling the girl to put it in the register. At another bar (Where I barfined last night) I was told to pay the girl the barfine (2000php) directly outside the bar. So the barfines have changed, but in the end it is still a barfine just paid or presented in a different way (like buying a bottle, or paying commission for the girl where she reaches the maximum allowable commission in a night and therefore will go with you :-)

Another change I noticed is that gradually the number of door girls have increased. I think for a short time there was this stupid rule about only having 1 or 2 per bar, but now it seems there are more - maybe around 4-5 in some bars (not all)

So the pulse of AC beats on - If you have not been here in a while and have fond memories of a particular bar it probably still exists, but reopened under another name. There are a few unfortunate exceptions - I heard that the owner of the Eager Beaver (which was raided) and owned another sister bar went bankrupt, so those two bars are gone. But then just adapt, as the girls have simply moved on to other bars. If you are a regular like me, this time - compared to earlier this year - seemed better. I am especially happy with Santos street picking back up again.

This trip did not go as initially planned, but ended up great so far. This trip in I wanted to sample as many new girls as possible, but then ran into old regulars in the bar and stuck with them. I guess it was that 100% certainty of a no hassle good time back in the room that made me go that route. It is also nice not having to lock down all your stuff, i.e. "girl proof" as I have never had a problem with a regular/repeat.

The one from last night offered me her cherry ass.....took quite a bit of work and only succeeded partially....but still fun. She was wet and horny....good stuff.

Agree with the barfine, it seems that every bar has a different way of doing things now, nothing is as it once was, at one bar they had the girl sign a 1 page statement in front of me concerning her EWR that I paid the bar, and at other bars it was pay in the room. Best advice for the guys traveling there now is to just go with the flow, as there is NO set standard.

I handle the new environment by asking the girl if she wants to go with me.....no mention of barfine, then the girl orients me from there.

I haven't been to Angeles since 2010. Could you update me on the EWR costs?

I remember Santos & Raymond St talent was 1000PHP. For Perimeter bar talent was 1000-1200PHP. Fields bar talent was 1400-1600PHP with a few of the megaclubs having the color coded tier system of 1600/2000/3000PHP.

On Santos & Raymond Street, it depends on the bar - 1000PHP ST/2000 LT appears to be the new norm. I did have one for 750PHP ST at one of the Santos Street bars. I did not go to the Perimeter Bars, but on Fields the average starting cost is 2000PHP - 2500PHO, with the Mega clubs charging more for some girls ("Top Model"). I refuse to pay the "Top Model" price.....

Still remains pretty cheap - also did not get much pressure from girls on double ladies drinks when I initially specified single drink. Pretty simple with this one, as this will tell you if the girl likes you or not (if she sips or gulps the drink).
