Spent a long week in BKK this Thanksgiving. Flew Etihad via Abu Dhabi. Nice airline but the Arabian airport is a dump, and all animal products are Halal animal torture garbage.

Used the electric train to get in from the airport but took a car on the way out because traffic to the train station was too heavy. I will take the subway from the station next time and only use the car to get to the subway stop. Car are ridiculously slow in BKK.

Stayed at the Majestic Grande across from Nana for 100/night. This is a great four star hotel with no bed bugs, and even the roaches were gone.

Prices for hot young girls are 4000THB/night or half that for a quickie + 600THB barfine. 3000THB deals still exist but only for single moms and 30+ dinosaurs.

The talent was superb at Nana as well as Pot Pong. I had several 19 year olds and pulled a Selena Gomez look alike. Lots of 9s and 10s despite the high season. My favorite spots were the smaller Rainbow bars at Nana and the small curved soi at Pot Pong.

Didn't work the massage places this time and only had two ladyboys for short time hand jobs. Also skipped Pattaya and Phuket.

Checked out the cheapest suite at the Landmark on Sukhumvit for 150. It is a bomb. It has a huge window with stunning views of the BKK skyline. I will stay there next time at least for a few nights.

Discovered the Long Table restaurant at Asok (longtablebangkok.com). About 60 for a three course meal with a drink. Stunning views and not very crowded.

Sadly, the restaurant across from the Beergarten has been shut down and is under construction. I doubt it will return. Moved to a smaller joint across from Club Eden. Their cashew chicken is great.

Switched to the money changers at Siam Paragon. They are a hair strand more expensive than Vasu but don't require passports and signatures and are open Sundays.

The best part of the trip was trying the new tantric techniques I learned from Charles Muir's weekend seminar (http://www.sourcetantra.com/Event/92). I applied his techniques and got major results. Girls scrapped the wall, rolled their eyes, threw the pillows in ecstasy and screamed in orgasm. Will further tantric studies.

All in all a short but very satisfying trip to the city that never disappoints.

Landmark Hotel, I've heard it used to be non-GF thats why I always avoided booking. I assume you had no problems.

Did you have to sign off on paperwork when checking in your 19yo? Seems like a new rule now for 18/19yo only.

I did not stay at the Landmark, only viewed their offering. I will not stay there if guests are a problem, but I don't see how they could even see you coming in with somebody, given what a giant labirinth the place is. There are so many ways of entering that huge complex.

I did not have any issues bringing guests of any age into the Majestic Grande -- my top choice in this neighborhood.

FYI, there is NO issue with bringing in guests to the Landmark Hotel.

Majestic Grande is lenient about the government's new law regarding having girls under 20 in your room. I talked to the concierge about it. However many other hotels are stricter about the law, and depending on who is working the front desk in those places, one could find themselves hunting for a short time hotel.

Thanks for the condensed TR PB, No doubt much to give thanks for in BBK. Seems kinda odd prices for the girls haven't gone up in Nana. You mentioned similar pricing in your 2007 TR. Exchange rates are improving for the USD but $110 - $140 LT is hard to swallow but I haven't been there in a few years. I guess I'm stuck in the 80's.

What is this stupid law about legal teens? What's next? Will they raise the age of consent to 45?

You could try to haggle down the price from 4000, but I think the price is fair given the world market.

That said, 4600THB for a girl + barfine is not far from Brazilian levels, and Brazilian action is better, the trip to South America way easier. I skipped Rio for a couple of years but long time was around $200 if I remember well.

If you do not have your Passport, you can use your Drivers License or another US issued picture ID. In my last 5 visits, they asked for my Passport only two times and I showed them my Drivers License. It depends, who is behind the counter.

Answers to your questions:

1. Any cute staff on Etihad?
- Most of them were attractive and wore a stylized semi-veil.

2. Can you bang the girls at regular massage places?
- Yes. The MILF who is massaging my feet is from the place shown on the Restaurant picture. This place is located right across from Club Eden on Soi 7 1/2. The place is strictly straight, yet some of the women will be open to negotiations once you are in private. They charge way too much, however. For massage action, I prefer the action on Soi 11, behind the Hotel Ambassador and on Soi 4 near Nana.

3. How is the the food at Long Table?
- Good food but this is Thai with a modern touch. They also have Western dishes, but those are NOT recommended.

Where is Vasu located?

Vasu -Right on the corner of soi 7/Sukumvit

I thought Longtable was just ok. Small portions but nice looking place. three of us with drinks came to about $235 USD.

Anyone try the steakhouse at the Landmark?

Vasu is at the entrance to soi 7/1, opposite the Subway sandwich place. It's where I always go if I ever have currency to change after visiting other countries.

Long Table is mostly a cool looking venue with spectacular views, although nothing that rivals the view from the cheapest rooms at the Landmark.

A friend gave me bad feedback on the Landmark steakhouse. Steak and other Western dishes will probably not work anywhere, either.

I inquired..they said the cheapest rooms are the non-remodeled up to floor 9. next cheapest are the back side 9th to the 14th backside facing the pool and pan pacific hotel building.

Club rooms are 24 or 25+

The steak house at the top of the Landmark Hotel rocks! Big time. They offer the following:
1. Steaks from 4 countries, the USA, Canada, Auzz., & Japan.
2. Several different cuts per.
3. Different weights, 250, 350, 500 gm., etc.
4. No. of days aged, 150, 200 or 250+
5. Percentage fat by weight. Note: The Kobe wins!
I had a winner steak, with garlic smashed potatoes, and mushrooms in a red wine reduction washed down with 2 glasses of Barolo.
A fabulous meal. Read the details in my last Far East report.

Since I haven't actually stayed at the Landmark, I cannot guarantee that the room they showed me was really the $150 cheapest variety. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to stay there for a night next time and feel out the place.

I ate there several years ago. It was ok. Nothing spectacular, but I'd eat there again. Take a look at Harvey's as well, off Thong Lo.

Nice report PB. I have had several nice dinners at the Landmark restaurant at the top of the landmark. The views are spectacular and the service is excellent. I found the food to be excellent although pricey for BKK. About the cost of a nice restaurant in a big US city. Not something you would do every night, but if you have something special I would recommend it. Their menu does have great steak but it also has a variety of dishes and types of food.
