After departing Subic I arrived in Angeles City where I have been since last Sunday. For the most part I've been kickin it with friends I've made from previous visits. Last night Yen, Mercy and another friend went barhopping on Fields. First stop was Texas Bar where we found a dancer we all know from my last visit. We also stopped at Doll House, Crystal Palace and Q Bar. Results vary on any given night however last night Texas Bar was the ticket. A few nines and quite a few sevens and eights. Q Bar had only one I would BF. We played a few games of billiards upstairs and Doll House and we had a couple of drinks at Crystal Palace. Less than what you'll typically find there with only a couple of lookers, We'll see how things shake out over the weekend. The girls in the clubs say business is up but you wouldn't know it by the traffic on Walking Street. More to come sportsfans!

I also found the clubs to have sparse pickings; I popped in and out of a lot more than I stayed in, only to find only one or two girls above a 6/7 after a closer look. And as Blazers knows, I have low standards

Hunterman...
My standards are high...but drop as the blood alcohol level goes up...hahha...
Not sure if that is good or bad but it certainly keeps me busy and sampling a wide range of goodies...lol
Hunter...we should chat about expanding to other areas in south america and in africa.
This is the year I hit uruguay!!

Thanks Q, Yen is cute, has a really hot body and LOVES sex, lots of it! She's been my wing woman this time and my last trip as well. She's bi and freak in the sheets plus she has a number of her friends who participate in the fun which is one of the reasons I haven't been getting much sleep. You'll find a couple of her snaps in my last TR. Last night we hit three more bars, Camelot, Ponytails and Sea Star. Not sure what the reason is but the larger venues are staffed as low as I've ever witnessed. Camelot has about sixteen dancers, Ponytails was around fifteen. Typically by this time of year the girls are back in force from their holiday break but not this year. We did find one cutie in Sea Star who claims her mens will be gone today and wants to BF tonight. Sea Star had an interesting line up, they had about twenty five dancers, not bad for a small club. Of those at least ten were bakla's, most of them were better looking than the female dancers. We also had lunch in Korean Town near Friendship Gate at the restaurant where Yen works. Walking down the street if you didn't know better you would swear you were in Seoul. The Korean invasion of Angeles is on and gaining steam. I don't have much issue with it however is sucks to see a Korean Restaurant operating in and around Fields Avenue where a fun club used to be. More pics coming so hang in there sportsfans!

Bars in AC now have bakla dancers?? Holy crap, this is truly a revolting development!
By Popcorn on Friday, January 16, 2015 - 07:37 pm: Edit
It wasn't interesting they are dancing, it was interesting they mixed them in with the female dancers. The Bakala's on parade up and down Field's Avenue has declined considerably, particularly across the street from Philly's. I'm guessing either the police have had enough of their harassment of tourists walking down the street or they're in Manila getting the Pope's blessings.
Yen and I did some barhopping last night. We went to the Hangout and had a couple of beers with her roommate then managed to roll up on Texas Bar, Grand Pharaoh, Q Bar, Champagne's and Equis Club. For a Friday it was again a modest crowd of tourist's and dancer's in clubs. For the monger's Korean's were about forty percent of the mix. Malaysian's who are easy to spot with their ten dollar watches and Elvis glasses were about thirty percent then Caucasian's and others filling out the rest. Texas Bar once again had the best talent and Grand Pharaoh had some looker's as well. If I were to grade the girl's on solely atmosphere or attitude Champagne's and Texas Bar rang the bell. Don't you hate it when you enter a bar and see the entire troupe making the minimal moves or just standing while they stare at their reflected images in the mirror? One thing is pretty much guaranteed if you pluck a gal from that crowd, a good session in the sack isn't going to be in your future!
We got off to a late start so our choices were narrowed however I did bar fine a waitress named Melogen from the Grand Pharaoh. She's been around forever and was there when Yen took her first dancing gig three year's back. IMHO she's a seven at best but Yen like's her and she has a slender figure. I finally replaced my old Olympus Stylus with a Canon Vixia HR-52. It's a nice small camcorder which takes great HD videos and photos but has no flash that would have been helpful. Also I was a bit tipsy by the time we got back to the Orchid Inn past 3:00 am and I haven't retouched the pics. She's not definitely FOB so likely you'll find her in other posts on the site.

One reason the baklas are gone from walking street is that a bunch of them attacked and robbed the niece of a police official, beat her up pretty badly. They were gone within a day or two.

Popcorn: Pardon my astonishment, I haven't been to AC in nearly four year and wasn't aware of this "innovation" in bar staffing. One of the advantages of P.I. over Thailand was you never had to worry about whether the bar girl you were talking to was really a girl. Just another example off the new AC I guess.
Thanks for the report.

No worries Baxter, it surprised me as well. Been visiting here for many years and it was a first. Back in Subic now so the journey continues!

I have pretty high standards and AC is no different now than in the past. You need to do some serious leg work if one wants truly a smoking hot girl. That said vs subic, there's absolutely no comparison, I can find more fuckable girls in one bar in AC vs all of subic any day/all day.
Yes, in the last year or so, I've noticed foot traffic way down as well and while some bars are still doing well, many smaller venue are hurting.

DM, agree for the most part, tougher to find the same level of talent in Subic due to the much lower number of gals. Smoking HOT gals are tough to find anywhere unless you're going back to a regular or willing to pay a premium price. Every situation is unique but my experience has been I'll settle for a bit of a downgrade on the looks for a better attitude or time in between the sheets. For the most part the stunners aren't that great in the sack or they're looking to run at the drop of the hat. That can happen with an average looking gal as well but I've found it's less likely.
By Don Marco on Thursday, January 22, 2015 - 03:48 pm: Edit
the main variable isn't their looks (or lack of it), it's normally if they have been working in a bar for a bit and want to or not. Well that and how much they feel like being with you.
I have the luxury of living here and see who is coming and going on a daily basis. Not too hard to develop relationships with the right people and get a head-up with a FOB gal is starting.
Hunterman - your waitress milf from Barhopping says hi and misses you

DM, if someone is looking for a SMOKING HOT gal, I would submit "LOOKS" is THE main variable. That doesn't speak to the variables which are, does she want to be with a particular guy or how long she's worked in a bar. No doubt living here could give someone an inside track on the newest arrivals and time to get to know a gal and influence her decision as to whether or not she's comfortable enough to BF a particular guy.
For me there aren't enough "Luxuries" in Angeles City to live here full time. If there were no bars or clubs in town NO ONE in their right mind would come here, much less live here as it has nothing else to offer. After two or three weeks I'm more than ready to eat some decent food and return to interaction with like minded people. Playing with the Binibini's is no doubt fun for awhile but to me that only goes so far.
We left Subic a few days early and made our way back to Angeles. Including my time with Yen and my honeyko I ended up spending two weeks in Subic which is about a week too long. Bar hopping last night which was Friday included Texas Bar, Monsoon, Ponytails and Grand Pharaoh. A few more gals in the clubs we attended but not many real lookers. Coming here for as long as I have, 1971 being my first visit, I have never witnessed so many overweight dancers. They seem to make up close to fifty percent of the mix. Since way back there have always been gals with a bit of a pudge tummy but very few outright fat dancers. Could that recent metric be a marketing adjustment for the Korean's? Seem's they will BF just about any type of gal, or are they just eating better?
Foot traffic was really down for a typical weekend here. I've had a chance to see some occupancy blocks for a few of the hotels and they were consistently half booked. I'm guessing as it gets deeper into the season that will change.
I was able to finally get in touch with a friend I made last trip who I met while eating at Philly's. She is now attending college in Laguna and is back in AC for a short break. She's a real sweetheart and very cute as well. I'll post a few photos when I get to Manila later today.

I thought the hotels were pretty full in the Christmas-New Years period, and maybe a bit after. I inquired about rooms at several of the higher-quality places, as I wanted change hotels, but they were full with only a night here and there open, and the higher-priced rooms at that.
Thanks for the update, DM. That milf was a sexual Hoover, like the one at Dave's bar Spellbound in BKK, but I prefer the spinners (with a special exception for a silicone-enhanced milf I just met in Pattaya).
Agree with you, Popcorn, the looks is IT if you're looking for smoking hot gals, like many Hombres are. I used to, but in my old age, performance is my primary concern. Looks are second (not secondary), but I've found that at least for me, the hottest girls are not usually the most fun. Maybe if I were 40 years younger....

Overall I will look back on this visit as disappointing for a number of reasons. It got off to a bad start with the booking snafu which threw me off my jet lag remedy. Typically I spend a night in Manila upon arrival and have a good step up on a normal sleep cycle. I did sleep in Inchon before I arrived in Manila but not very well and it seems I never got over the jet lag. I suppose I can blame it on some late night, early morning fooling around as well.
The week with my honeyko in Subic was pretty much a working vacation so we didn't get much quality time. It is always nice to spend time with her however I did a lot of work which required a lot of focus during our time together.
Upon arrival in Angeles it was great to have Yen around and her friends who came and went. She and her friends did need money on occasions but all tolled I definitely saved some BF expenses and for the most part they were a lot better company than most bar girls I would have paid for otherwise. I can't remember exactly but I think I only BF'd five or six bar girls the entire trip and none of them were stunners or exceptional between the sheets. The nights with Yen and her friends were absolutely awesome since most of them are bi and completely uninhibited. If they weren't around it would have been hard to swallow since the talent level and the amount of available bar girls was lower than I can remember for this time of year.
Typically I book my next excursion as soon as I get back but I won't be considering the PI for at least a year out. I'm likely headed to Cuba in then next few months to see what our neighbor to the south has to offer.
As promised posted below is Vangie, she is back in Angeles after taking a short break from her college classes in Laguna. She swears she hasn't been seeing anyone but we know how that goes... She turned nineteen on January 17th and is an absolute sweetheart.

Lol...."...but I won't be considering the PI for at least a year out" is exactly what I was thinking when I returned from my trip in November. Now I looked at a couple of private videos I made then and getting the fever again. Edited them today and they came out quite good. Then last night I found one of my girls I see on a regular basis in AC in a Porno Hub video getting creampied :-) Reminded me of some creampie moments of my own I would like to repeat with her myself.
The only thing holding me back is the loooooooooong and never ending time it takes to go and come back. I just never get used to it.

LM, Yes the long flight is a drag and was magnified when I went through the booking fiasco on the outbound leg. One of the "friends" I hooked up with this trip was a door girl I met ten years back at a club which has since closed, Angel's. Marie's twenty-nine now and looks even better than when we met. She did a porn shoot for Jimmy Regina's Trike Patrol, a very naughty young lady who is willing to do just about anything! Here's the link to her one and only shoot.
http://xxxbunker.com/1931191
At this point the only thing which would sway me to return sooner, my Syota since she's the whole package but right now a return trip isn't on my radar. I have contacted the VP of Marketing, USA for Korean Airlines requesting compensation for the booking mishap. His response may influence my decision. Another disappointment was the experience at WO, Baloy Beach. I was limited on my options and not happy with their accommodations.

"DM, if someone is looking for a SMOKING HOT gal, I would submit "LOOKS" is THE main variable. That doesn't speak to the variables which are, does she want to be with a particular guy or how long she's worked in a bar"
To be clear, what you said was that hot girls available for a premium or a relatively lackluster performance in bed. What I said is it has everything to do with how much a girl feels like being with you, no how much your paying her. When not living here, I never had an issue cultivating and focusing on the few gals I found physically a bulls-eye. Plenty of hotties around, either one does the leg work (sometimes considerable) to find one that clicks or not. Clicking is the operative word, not finding a hottie in of itself...
"No doubt living here could give someone an inside track on the newest arrivals and time to get to know a gal and influence her decision as to whether or not she's comfortable enough to BF a particular guy"
living here and there's little reason to barfine a girl unless its a favor to a bar manager/owner
"For me there aren't enough "Luxuries" in Angeles City to live here full time. Well I guess I'm not in my right mind... how silly of a statement.
I'm perhaps one of the biggest food snobs I've come across and I had one of my best meals the other nice here - a 20+ course dinner and provided pro bono. While dining here certainly lagst, anyone saying the food sucks probably hasn't looked much past Fields or eats at the same places as the drunken minions. I don't go to bars much except when a friend in in town, but seem to enjoy my living here quite a bit. Plenty for me to do that doesn't involve drinking. I guess it depends on the nature of the individual...
Yes, foot traffic is a bit down.
Yes, Koreans are blooming.
yes, for those weekend millionaires showing up, prices have been going up (as with elsewhere).
Thanks for sharing.

DM, where you live your life and how you spend your time is entirely your choice and doesn't concern me however some of your statements give me pause.
I've decided to move to Southern California but I can't decided as to which area I prefer, Malibu or El Monte. The point being if you're not really into the bar scene why squat in AC when there are many other areas in the Philippines which make Angeles look like the shit hole that it is.
As far as bar fining a gal as a favor to a bar manager or owner, who cares about them? It's time spent with the girl that should matter, right? The owners and especially managers only care about making money and their tenure is typically short lived.
When it comes to culinary preferences if I truly enjoyed Filipino, Korean, Thai or Ausie food, Angeles would be just the ticket. Of those four options I could live with Thai dishes for awhile, the others not so much. Can delicious Mexican or Italian fare be found in AC or in the entire Philippines for that matter? If I lived anywhere in the PI either me or my honeyko would be spending time in the kitchen but as a visitor with a limited amount of time it doesn't make much sense to invest it in food preparation. Beyond that here are some items I would yearn for.
A good selection of Beer
Pizza
Taco or Enchilada
Lasagna or Spaghetti
Turkey Dinner
American Coffee
A decent glass of Milk
A stick of real Butter
Onion Rings
31 Flavors Ice Cream and See's Candies

as does comments like "no one in their right mind would..." give me pause.
I'll take PI/AC over CA any day all day and think anyone in their right mind would too, so YMMV
Like I said, I'm not really into bars/drinking too much, but have a blast here. I have a great apartment/complex, all the conveniences I want, great gf, good friends, convenient shopping, central access point to most of SE Asia, great mountain biking, decent road cycling, very low cost of living, easy access to immigration, and if needed all the pussy I can handle. Works for me.
As for your list of foods, I'm a veggie, but plenty of great beer (pretty much any european import), and have no trouble with pizza and coffee despite being an Italian pizza snob. That said, so you don't like asia food, but complain about food in asia?? As for Italian, several great options here you likely didn't try/know of. Next time your in town and need a dining suggestion, let me know.

DM...
Why do you not provide us with a list of favorite restaurants around town?
I for one am also a food snob...I found a couple of good places in fields, bridge area and McCarthur hwy...but I can use many more choices!
I will be there again soon and would not mind trying some new eateries!
Thanks in advance!

I'll create a new thread - be happy to share thoughts. Likewise, if you have specific preferences, let me know and I can tailor recommendations where/if applicable.

Ahhh, the never ending debate.
And as usual, what it comes down to is different strokes for different folks. I am unable to understand why anyone would want to live here (I'm in AC now), but I also know that this statement is just a reflection of personal preferences, and nothing more than preferences. There's nothing inherently better about one place or another. It comes down to which places match our preferences.
A friend of mine here in AC questioned my sanity for spending 7 figures on a retirement home at the beach in CA when I could live out the rest of my life for that amount of $ in AC. I laughed and questioned his sanity for wanting to live out the rest of his life in AC. The two of us understand we have different preferences. Not better or worse, but different. We can joke about it. We both seem happy with our decisions and neither regrets the choices we've made.
I could list the reasons (i.e., a restatement of my preferences), but what's the point.
As long as we're all happy, it's all good.
DM, I'd love to see that list of good places to eat. The biggest failure, by far, regarding my list of preferences, is the food in AC.
By Popcorn on Saturday, January 31, 2015 - 01:36 pm: Edit
DM, Before your first trip to AC, what was it that prompted you to visit there, the wonderful restaurants?
You can tout the food in AC all you wish and admittedly some options are better than others. I've been visiting AC and many other regions in the PI for the last forty-four years and finding good food has never been easy. It's getting better but I'm not alone, many people I've met there over the years have the same issue.
I'll look forward to your recommendations on the new thread if you have any suggestions I haven't already explored.
By Don Marco on Saturday, January 31, 2015 - 07:10 pm: Edit
Popcorn, I first visited in 2004 and no it wasn't due to the food. Anyone thinking it's 2004 in terms of food clearly isn't looking around or hasn't been there since.
Most things have gone downhill in AC since 2004 with one of the exceptions being the food.
