It was only a 15K taxi ride away, but make sure the driver waits for you. Unless of course, you plan to do la chica there.

I've been to Loutron before and if you haven't been, its worth a look (think of it as a bucket list thing). I sessioned on-site there and the on-site rooms were all themed, and interesting, but the layout of their house is truly remarkable and should be experienced by everyone.
