There is always a good feeling coming to Tijuana. whenever i had the chance to get to San Diego i try to make some room for a side trip across the border.

As usual, the trolley is a good choice for cheap and reliable way to get to San Isidro and the border crossing. now with the new entry point for pedestrians i think is a lot more smooth way to get across without going over the highway.

t1 t2 t3 t4 t5

Once on the mexican side you can easily get to the street corner across the bus station to catch the minibuses going to town, very cheap (around US$0.65), so up to you or you can also easily walk towards revolution avenue. my only concern is doing this at night, gets really sppoky and in those cases, safety is in numbers, i tend to cluster with other walkers when coming back to the border.

t6 t7 t8 t9 t10 t11

Went on a sudden thought and just once i got to revolution, i continue towards the zona norte and got me a cheap hotel room at the Leyva hotel

Hotel Leyva
ave, constitucion # 410
zona norte, tijuana
PH; 688-39-68/56
685-97-74
66-01

Room is very basic but at least is clean and comfy enough to get some good rest. always come to TJ with a minimun of stuff and don't want to be hauling around a lot of baggage for my own confort and not to attract too much attention to myself from lowlifes.

t12 t13 t14 t15 t16 t17 t18 t19

It might not be a prime spot to go but the market by the main cathedral is a good spot for quick and tasty meals.

t20

There is always all kinds of flyers going aorund on revolution vying for your hard money, i saw some over the time i was in TJ; to me they all the same and is just part of the scenery.

t21 t22 t23 t24

Was in and out of bars in the days ahead and at, i think it was Hong Kong i met this chick wiith a nice personality and bubbly attitude, onle problem is that she was just asking for way too much. sad i only snapped these shots but decided not to take her upstairs for a rumble in bed.

t25
t28

Photos: Bubbly Attitude 01 02

Did the usual rounds at daytime on revolution and the super market on that avenue is a good spot to get some snacks and drinks.

t29 t30 t31

One of my evenings i went to adelitas bar and saw this stunning chick, awesome body but a little shy in the room for pics, still i could take these ones for the viewing pleasure. damage was like $60 and $ 14 for the room.

t32

Photos: Stunning Chick 03 04 05

The shopping store adelitas has on zana norte stills there and i imagine getting some clientele , otherwise i don't see the need to have it there with no customers.

t36

One of the reasons i wanted to do this time was to get a good dental check up and Washington dental is a reliable choice here; although is getting a little expensive for mexican standards, still a low cost if you get this same service in the states.

t37 t38 t39 t40 t41

Adelitas always a good choice for nice girls and luscious bodies, this chick named Diana was an early catch and very sweet and no rush at all (actually was with her more than once!!!)

t42

Photo: Diana 06

I think chinese food here is damn good and this is one of the meals i had while here this time

t44

This is the pharmacy where you can get medicine at good prices, but, just be aware that this can change real fast. still, i can get my medications and sometimes they give you some extra at no cost (kind of buy one get two deal!!). the other thing is the billboard sign that is gone now that shows adelitas girls, love that thing but realise those girls are actually for the pic and never saw them at the bar)

t45 t46

Not much to do here, except pussy buying and on one of my goings to zona norte i had another session with the sexy Diana at adelitas, chick from guadalajara and very nice person, nice body.

Photos: Diana 07 08 09 10

Still hang around to see if any changes in town since my last visit. hotels like Espana, Paris and Cesar's still there and other landmarks like the hailai still in business. the bus station on the border is a good choice for travel inland but just be careful since some times have to be careful on the road.

t51 t52 t53 t54 t55 t56 t57 t58 t59

After a few days i wanted to change hotels and decided to try this low budget place called hotel San Diego

Hotel San Diego
calle madero # 760
zona centro, Tijuana
PHO: (011 52) 664 685 7066

The room is a little step up from the hotel leyva but not bad for a few days in town. don't expect nothing fancy but at least is safe and there is some snacks to be bought a the front desk. by the way, the other hotel just accross the street belongs to the same owner of this one.

t60 t61 t62 t63 t64 t65 t66 t67 t68 t69 t70 t71

Want to point out where you can catch the buses going back to the border, is easy and cheap, just go to the side street by revolution and 1st and you'll see the buses waiting for customers. they have the words: "LA LINEA OR JUST LINEA" in front of the windshield. anyways, not a problem and just ask the attendant and he'll let you know. plus, you still can hang around and have a few drinks on revolution.

t72 t73 t74 t75 t76 t77 t78

If you guys like roasted chicken i would like to recommend "El Rey del Pollo"; this restaurant is located like going to plaza rio but just get off at the mercado hidalgo. the eatery is just on one of the side streets and can't be miss!!! very tasty chicken and cheap.

t79 t80 t81 t82 t83

On another of my forays in the zona norte i went back to Hong Kong and this time i had a short time with this sexy gal. Lily was very pleasing in the room and even had the chance to snap some pics, damage was $ 60 plus 16 for the room.

t84 t85

Photos: Lily 11 12 13

When it comes to seafood and for a reliable place, then, go to: "Negro Durazo" ( corner of zanches taboada and calle 10, zona rio ), which is going to zona rio, just take a cab and is only a 3 bucks ride or so. food is awesome and safe to eat. i'm saying this 'cause long ago i had a very bad experience and ended up with some serious stomach issues, was very painful but got out of it in good shape after a few days of recuperation. i have been to this seafood place a few times and each time i enjoy the way seafood is prepare, plus you get live music to enjoy with your meal.

t89 t90 t91 t92 t93 t94 t95 t96

One more time looking around plaza rio and back in the nite to zona norte looking for a good time, again ended up at adelitas and got me Diana again, she had a nice short dress and a killer body waiting for me. i can say it was a nice way to end this night before leaving town.

t96 t97 t98 t99

Photos: Diana 14 15 16

I do enjoy those small stalls that sell tacos outside the clubs, very tasty and fills you up real quick.

t103 t104

Well, nothing last forever and it was time to head back to reality. still had time for a KFC; mexican style; then the long walk to the border, actually is a nice walk when the weather is gorgeous and plenty of sun to enjoy.

t105 t106 t107 t108 t109 t110 t111 t112
Before crossing the border i saw this mural with a tourist layout of tijuana and this other one when TJ look back in the 1920's or so; what a difference, wonder if pussy was plentyful as it is today?!?!t113 t114

Once across the trolley stop is just there and even had a time to get me a burger and coffee at the McDonald place next to it.
not bad for a short trip and always looking forward to go to TJ again.///

Nice photos. I almost forgot what the old rooms in AB looked like.

Nice pics and talent Marco. How often do you venture to Tijuana. I haven't been awhile since my military days.

Thanks for sharing. Great report , nice chicas.

By Esteban on Tuesday, June 02, 2015 - 11:25 pm:  Edit

Diana looks hot. Would not have guessed such quality is available in Tijuana.

By Marcopolo on Wednesday, June 03, 2015 - 08:57 am:  Edit

I do go into TJ with regular timing. everytime i get a chance to travel to southern california, i made a point to do a side trip across the border into TJ.
TJ got such an influx of girls from all over mexico and this is a big plus for me. this gal Diana is from guadalajara, such a good example of the girls that come from that state of mexico.

MarcoPolo

By Erip on Wednesday, June 03, 2015 - 09:31 pm:  Edit

I have known Diana since she was brand new to TJ - could be 8-9 years since I met her. She is truly a great chica in every way but I would have to note that PSE hunters will be disappointed with her standard service.

I really enjoyed this photo tour report from Marcopolo. First time I've had a glimpse as to what the new "walk-in" route looks like - I haven't been able to ride my legs into TJ since I became quasi-handicapped - also almost 10 years ago and this is a new pedestrian entrance at the border that was opened when Mexico constructed a new giant Port of Entry a quarter mile west of the old POE 2-3 years ago.

Personally I can never recommend Hotel Leyva. It has a few decent rooms that they charge more for, but the standard cheap rooms there are the worst of the regular overnight hotels in the zona by far especially after Cascades and Coahuila have been significantly upgraded. I would stay in a few of the SG Hotels overnight before I would stay in the Leyva. Also, there have been reports of some fresh cartel related violence in the zona in the most recent months unlike they've seen before. A decent amount of it has been focused in and around Hotel Leyva. A friend who spends vast amounts of time in the Leyva's sister hotel around the corner (Hacienda de Santiago) and formerly virtually lived in the Leyva tells me that street level dealers and other punks are using the hotel more than ever and drawing fire from some bosses who aren't seeing adequate tribute contributed. This is new since prior episodes of outbreaks in the drug wars didn't concern themselves with comparatively trivial profits emanating from the zona street trade - comparative to mega-profits from smuggling drugs across the border and across the ocean to Europe. This reported crime wave will pass soon enough if it hasn't already. But Leyva will still be an uncomfortable dump, at least most of the lower priced rooms anyway.

Thanks for putting this report together and posting MarcoPolo. We don't see very many of these for TJ.

By Marcopolo on Thursday, June 04, 2015 - 12:17 am:  Edit

Erip;
I do heartly agreed on your comments on the leyva hotel. is not a good place and just wanted to show the way it is. i think if you get a room at the Cesars, Espana or Paris hotels on revolution is a better and safer choice. the hotels on the back of adelita bar (back street wt all the sgs) is ok and upgraded, but i would be more concern about my belongins and safety, of course.
anyways, whenever i do my trips to TJ is more like a short stays (around 2-4 days or so).
I did met on this trip more chicas but not all of them would allow pics. like the girl with the sweater in the room i am showing, funny, she was showing all !!! in the bar butr in the room only allow those shots and my rule is if the girl even says a complaint on pics, i drop and put away the camera!!
I do intend to go to TJ sometime in June/July for a short stay to see how things have change or not.
one note that Erip said about the cartels in the TJ area, is true and more than ever we have to be careful there, way too much drug money involved and those drug cartels do not care for civilian casualties!! i do always go to TJ looking as simple as possible; no jewelry, plain clothes, keep my mouth shut only talk when needed and go only on well lit streets and above all, safety in numbers, taxis are cheap and not a cheap skate and use them when needed; just about 5 bucks or so to the border!!
that chick diana is a sweatheart and it shows the amazing gals you'll see over thee. most a re ok and just a few are a waste!!

Well something is a bit fishy as the KFC and all it signs have been gone for more than a year.

Hotel San Diego was not and is not a safe place to be.

By Marcopolo on Saturday, June 06, 2015 - 06:31 am:  Edit

Well something is a bit fishy as the KFC and all it signs have been gone for more than a year.!!!!

Signs go and down in this town, so gals come and go. what's your point???? rebuilt the town to your liking????

MarcoPolo

By sampson on Saturday, June 06, 2015 - 01:30 pm:  Edit

Those signs have never been back up since it closed about 1.5 years ago. It has not reopened.

By Marcopolo on Sunday, June 07, 2015 - 04:57 am:  Edit

sampson;
Broaden your horizons; do not get a hang up 'cause a silly business sign!!!
Technically you're going into a foreign country but is just a Mexican border town. so said this; do at least a serious trip and go a little farther, go to Lima or Cartagena, DR or angeles city or thailand!!! kind of broaden your narrow minded views. still appreciate you saying the KFC signs are gone!?!?!?.

MarcoPolo

PS- I do get a serious amount of pics/notes/business cards/mags and what not notes on chicks and eateries on my trips. the fun is when i have to sort this F... mess out to prepare my report. so, is takes a little time for me to actually post a trip report (sure most of us posting reports go through the same dance!!)
Now in Pattaya (was in angeles city for a week), not back home til next week so this report won't go in til at least for a few months (sorry, work for a living!!!!)

By sampson on Sunday, June 07, 2015 - 08:07 am:  Edit

My point is that your May 2015 report must be very old. So folks probably expect you were there within a month and that is obviously not true.

By Marcopolo on Sunday, June 07, 2015 - 12:33 pm:  Edit

sampson;
STILL don't get it why this crying!!!! reports don't get posted right away, as far as i know!!! so if you expect the reports in the minute somebody gets done with a trip, you're day dreaming to say the least.
For somebody who hasn't posted a single trip report or decent amount of pics and has the galls to bitch about it is plain hillarious!!! I've never questioned anybody's reports on anything like time it takes to go into the hombre web, how its done, set up of the content, etc... if i don't like it i would just go read other reports and done with it; maybe you should follow this humble advise.///

By sampson on Sunday, June 07, 2015 - 06:12 pm:  Edit

Hey, I live here so when someone reports news as if it is new with old pictures I think it is worth mentioning.

I don't need any help from you. Maybe you can write about the JFK assassination next.

Thanks, Marcopolo. The information was interesting.

Sampson . . . WTF . . . you live in Tijuana and yet how much information have you contributed on the city . . . I see 0 trip reports so maybe you don't consider it a trip being in Tijuana. I will look at your other contributions as it would be nice to have a resident expert in every locale globally.

By sampson on Monday, June 08, 2015 - 05:38 pm:  Edit

I have posted plenty, this side is quite old but I am not a monger. Maybe I can talk about chicas that are no longer available and restaurants that are closed.

By Jimus1111 on Monday, June 08, 2015 - 08:04 pm:  Edit

Sampson, Você precisa ter tranquilidade na sua vida . . . Let it go ! ! ! Maybe you could just relax, have a cerveza and shoot the shit with the boys. I don't know Tijuana as I have not been there in years and given the fact that you know the place I would buy you a beer just to pick your brain on the place. I want to come down to eat at Mision 19 in TJ and a few restaurants in Ensenada, maybe do some fishing and surfing . . . relax.

I, for one, enjoyed marcopolo's historical pictures of Hotel Leyva before they tore out their front facade before their expansion began in March 2014. I also like seeing again the North entrance to Hong Kong Bar before their vacated hotel neighbor to the west was torn down as well as the nighttime picture of Malquerida Bar in the old days when the Najera Hotel was still above the bar.

For what its worth;
I joined this website for the main reason that i beleive most if not all of us join it; which, is the search, enjoyment of females, plus the excitement of overseas trips to foreign destinations. guess this is not difficult to understand, unless you're limited mentally.
When i joined i made it a point to not just used this website for my trips BUT to contribute to it for the enjoyment of ALL menbers. kind of a way to repay all the pleasures and info i've goten from been a hombre menber, plain simple.
If you are NOT a monger, then, why you doing here???? you sure in the wrong website to say the least. never ever i've say i am the supreme authority on monger trips, never ever stated that my reports might not have some kind of outdated pics but that is just plain silly to bring the world down for a silly street sign.
That is the reason i take trips overseas every 10-14 months to decompress from job stress!!! enjoy the reports, if you see something you don't like , then skip it and go on or read another report!! i do this all the time BUT what i don't do is to bitch and moan like a TJ SG!!! you don't travel, fine; just be happy with your world and don't bitch about someone else's travel. last, with respect of those who live in Tijuana and i DO have some mexican friends, super guys!!!; this is not a prime world travel location (only go there when in the San Diego area), so it is what it is!!! will never try to put TJ on the same level with other monger destinations, such as AC, Singapore or Pattaya 'cause TJ wouldn't fill not even a sandal in comparison!!!
cheers!!!

just want to add my 2cents; thanks for all the photos & info - WELL DONE!

Copperfieldkid;
truly appreciate your kind comment. I'm used to take heat here and there in life but sometimes kid's nonsense gets my brain on "overdrive"; after all i am not in my '20s no more (time is unforgiving).
still, i can't say nothing higher about club hombre; in today's politically correct world; this website is an oasis for pleasure seekers!!!!
MarcoPolo

PS- I am now in thailand, went also to angeles city ; so this report won't go in for the moment. have to sort out the mountain of pics/comments/business cards/air travel comments/hotels-guesthouses/go go bars/ GIRLS!!! and so forth.... Hey, don't go back to work til next month but also need my warrior's rest and take care of personal matters.

Nice TR MP, love all the info and a good mix of photos! How much did the Chica in Hong Kong want for the 15 minutes?

By Marcopolo on Sunday, June 14, 2015 - 11:23 am:  Edit

Popcorn;
the HongKong gal was a good choice, was i remenber $ 60/16 or something like that. wouldn't even say you can find her there since like in all bars, those gals moved around and most are out of town coming from all over mexico.
TJ is a gipsy town when it comes to bar gilrs. personally i don't keep track of them. do remenber the good choices but after a while, kind of put them in the back of my brain cells.

Good job, Marcopolo! The girl in the green you didn't take up was Keyra - Tamaulipas - Hong Kong |PHOTO|. Last I spoke with her she was friendly, but not bubbly. I may sit her down again and see how it goes, she didn't impress me enough in the past to take her up, either.

The girl from Adelitas in the sweater is long time vet Jessica (L) - Mexicali - Adelita Bar |PHOTO|. I haven't seen her in a long time.

I saw Diana (R) - Guadalajara - Adelita Bar |PHOTO| last week and she's picked up a lot of weight. I almost didn't recognize her.

d'artagnan;
you are right about Diana, i saw her a few days ago and she pick up some weight; still, she looks real good. hope she check her weight, otherwise she's going to get heavy like some adelitas chicks. she always been a good choice and what i enjoy from her is her character and easy going way to be. such a nice lady.
