This isn't a trip report. Just wanted to unload some information I acquired about the sad excuse for mongering that is Euro-mongering.

This was never meant to be a mongering trip. I wanted to go back to Europe while I have some cash this year. My job crapping out and retiring at 62, I won't have many years of spending $250 a day left. If not now, when?

Never before have I felt as blessed to be aware of, and part of, the scenes in Angeles City and Pattaya. Imagine the world without them! I count my lucky stars after rolling through London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Barcelona the last three weeks. A VERY quick recap for any monger heading to these:

LONDON:

Didn't investigate too hard. The old sleazy Soho neighborhood is mostly gone. There are a couple clip joints left I didn't bother with (20 pounds for a Coke, 25 pounds for her drink, don't like it, her comes the bouncer, that's what the bouncers are there for--to reason with the customer).

I know there are some kinky clubs but not for my kinks and the pricing is all Western, meaning it costs the same as it would in fucking Chicago.

AMSTERDAM:

You'd think I'd have some luck here. This was where I first started mongering in the early 80's. It's where I picked up my first STD (that last memory is almost charming!). The RLD(Red Light District) hasn't changed much from when I was in my 20's. Word is current local governments are trying to shut it down but I'm guessing that won't happen. Simply too many Euros to be made from EVERY CORNER. Here I'm talking about the tour companies which PACK the RLD with so many people come dark you can literally barely move from the weight of humanity.

I didn't remember it was like this back in the day. Maybe it wasn't. Total freak show. There 4 nights, I fucked twice. Once was the best of the trip. Why? Because she relinquished CONTROL and let me do my thing. The rest of them were adding machines and robots. Last stop, best chance among the cities I picked. Monger trip would have sent me to Frankfurt, Munich or Prague. Alas, I wanted to see some Van Gogh, and hang in Marie Antoinette's bedroom. So, in a tourist town, what's a monger to do?

I live in London and get quite a bit of action here. If you live in the US then I'd say get yourself to Germany and Czech Republic for your best times if you find yourself in Europe.

I would not come here specifically for mongering. But if you start adding in flights and hotel, I save a lot of money going local.

When I lived in the US, I was forced into a $500 flight and $1000 for a week in a decent hotel and food. Then you add on $500+ for mongering in South America. Cheaper in Asia but more expensive to get there.

Ditto. Pauly! I'm surprised such a resourceful and seasoned monger as yourself, didn't go to the Frankfurt FKKs. That's the cradle of European mongering. To give it a miss is like going to SE Asia and mongering everywhere but AC and Pattaya. It's no wonder you were disappointed. For anyone else planning to monger in Europe, just go to Frankfurt. All the top talent from Europe (and some top choices from SEA and the Caribbean and Africa) heads there to work, it's legal, scam free and reasonably priced.
