Today, got up at the 07:00 alarm.
Left the breakfast lounge at 07:45.
The tram cost but 1.20 Euros.
It was air-conditioned and a very smooth trip along the coast and then up into downtown Athens.
The entrance ticket of 12 E. to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and Hadrian's Arch also included the entrance to the Acropolis.
Some places were so-so crowded, others packed.
Had 2 iced teas during the morning & afternoon before enjoying a fine lunch of lamb souvlaki, a cuc & tomato salad and a beer for 22 E.
The taxi back to Glyfada for 1:45 cost me 16 E.

Dr J;
I assume Glyfada is a suburb of athens and it looks very cosy. the views of the city are great and it gives me an idea of the city's layout.
your pics of the parthenom and the acropolis are breathtaking.
chances are i might not go to greece anytime soon but reading your report is so refreshing and priceless. by the way, the dishes look so appetizing.
