The taxi ride was both quick, and cheap (26 + tip).
Checked the case real quick and scored some more duty-free rum.
The flight to Santorini took 40 minutes.
A shower greeted us on arrival delaying embarkation.

My hotel was named "Avant Garde Suites".
It was booked thru a Greek travel agent chick, who in fact lives in my condo building.
Excellent value for the money.
They had a car waiting for me at the airport as well.
Dinner was at a place recommended by the hotel manager, and just walking distance down the street.
I left at 7:30 and was back by 9:30.
I had a delicious spaghetti Bolonaise, grilled calamari and a half litre of white wine. The bill was 25 Euros before a tip.
Went back to my suite, ordered in some ice, and proceeded to have more than a few drinks on my deck overlooking the caldera.
