Nothing remarkable about my last day in Athens.
Checked out at 10:40.
Paid the hotel extras.
The doorman flagged me down a cab.
Easy drive in to the airport.
Paid him 40 Euros.
Check-in easy. Got emergency aisle row seats again, on both legs.
Waiting at Gate # 13A by 11:50.
The flights home uneventful.
The limo to my lakeshore condo cost $ 50, and I opened my door at exactly 8:42 p.m.

I liked Athens.
I would go back, but not anytime soon.
The two islands I found more than a little boring.
It is essential you bring your own entertainment.
I also found their topography very barren, bleak, and with a total absence of any vegetation at all.
That is not what I like, but I know of many that do.
The bottom line is that I came back refreshed and rejuvenated with some hot memories and souvenir photographs that will last me for some time.

That is until Colombia & Ecuador in January 2016.

The media's been reporting that desperate Greek women are resorting to selling themselves for a few euros, it doesn't sound like you ran into any of that.

Very good report and like the insight and pics of Athens. good choice of gals and hope i have the chance to visit Greece.
I t didn't look the country is about to fall over due to the economic uncertainty, but, who knows maybe in the future.
