Hey boys, been to Rio many times but it's been some time since I've been there (gotta break out the Pimsleur). This time, I know I know - don't bring sand to the beach - I'm bringing my new girl friend. She's a great kind of crazy. She is bi and loves 3 ways. She's also going to let me slip off to a terma or two. (I'm so bummed L is closed - it was my fav). Sooooo, the questions is how to find girls for us to bring home. Any one have any experience with Rio Escort Guide? The garotas look hot. They are advertising cost of $100 to $120 per hour USD which seems high but the quality looks great. Any other suggestions?
Usually, I go to termas and exchange #s and have them come home wit me later. Obrigado

Best is to continue with the termas or the message places in Copa if you stay in Copa.

You have a lot of low cost or free options in Rio, many which depend on the attractiveness of your girl. You could take her to the Wiskeria Manhattan in Centro which is associated with termas Cancun.

You can both go to Mabs in Leme. Buy a few drinks and let the interviewing begin.
Swing club 2a2 in Copa is entertaining.

Check out some of the massage places,

Used to go to La Girl, a lesbian club, but it is closed. Might want to check around for a replacement. Lesbians get tired of strap-ons.
Lapa has been a great source of threesome opportunities, either at the outdoor cafes/bars or clubs.
There are many other options, but this should keep you busy.
Most important is to keep it light and fun.
Good luck!

Thanks guys. Love Lapa. I'm pretty sure we'll have a great time no matter what! 'She's so fine, there's no telling where the money went!'

Exectalent, thanks for the massage recommendations. We both love massage. They look really good. We are staying in Copa. Which ones do you recommend? I don't see any prices listed?
Is it a negotiation or do they have set prices? If so, what are they or what should we pay? Is sex extra? Sorry for all the questions. I've been to Rio many times but never had a massage except for one time in a terma that was non-sexual after spraining my ass from too much fucking at a party at VIPs. I think it was that damn fucking chair. Fucked 9 girls in 1 day! Of course, I didn't come 9 times lol....

Massage prices supposedly are fixed, but can vary depending on the gringo. Unlike the olden days when everything was included in the base price, many places now include a HJ in the base price and everything else is extra.

If your GF is indeed fine, you might want to try this approach in Lapa. Teach her to say in Portuguese that it is your birthday and she would like to give you a special present. Brazilians love celebrating birthdays. Walk around near the Arcos Da Lapa, pick a girl and give it a try. Don't hover, give her some room. She is not going to offend anyone and you might be surprised at the success rate. Also, don't shy away if there are two girls together. You may get a bonus.

Sounds like fun no matter what. Will give it a shot. Thanks again.

Massage places in Copa are pretty much all fixed price and not massage at all. They do not even make the pretense of massage. Check out edenspa.com.br prices are listed. They don't keep the photos updated as the girls change. With the economy the way it is lots of options in the massage places. There are three that I know of in the same area of Copa.

Thanks Kjtrav, can you please tell me the three massage places that you know? Thanks

Eden Spa has some nice girls. $50 for an hour. Not half bad!

Exchange rate is dropping. It's suppose to be 3.89 now. I thought I'd try buying a few thousand dollars worth but the cheapest I could find it here is 3.6
Anyone know the rate in Rio?
I'm wondering if it's better to take USD to Rio or use ATM? Thanks,

It's always good to bring some dollars to Rio, as well as your ATM card. Sometimes the unofficial cambios will give a small premium over the official rate, sometimes less. Generally, it's not a huge difference. Regardless, you never exchange money in the US, where you'll get a very shitty rate like the 3.6 you were offered.
My bank account doesn't charge a fee for foreign withdrawals and I get the official rate from the previous day's closing. Many bank accounts don't have those benefits and have fees and/or crappy exchange rates. It depends on your particular type of account at whatever bank/brokerage you use.

Thanks Catocony. It's been so long since I've been to Brazil I can't remember shit. I don't recall getting foreign fees for using he ATM. I know my cc doesn't charge foreign fees.
We used to rent phones when we were down there to contact the girls working at the termas. I heard guys are now replacing their sim card in the their phone. Is that what you do?

Raphael,
You might consider finding a credit card with no foreign exchange transaction fees. I use Capitol One. And finding an ATM card with the same deal is useful. I generally bring dollars and negotiate with the exchange shops on R. Xavier Silveira.

Hey Bwana, yeah I have a Barclaycard that has no foreign exchange fees. What do you do about your phone? Thanks
