Another sunny, very warm, and absolutely gorgeous day in Quito.
This was not like the long range weather forecast that had indicated rain, every damn' day.
Roared back down to the "Centro Historico".
Bought some jewelry and other stuff.
Below are some pics from yesterday and today.
After 4 hours, I took a break in the hotel before roaring down to this "Parque Ahiedo". It was full of artists, etc.
I scored a 4 panel oil painting depicting Quito under the lights. Originally $ 120, then $ 100, and the man settled for $ 80.
A few others were also lovely @ $ 250, but there was no way of getting these large ones home, unless de-mounted and rolled in a tube.
