With everything set with my trip. i was out of the hotel early that morning. let me tell you guys, is a scary sight walking on soi 6 before sunup!!! so F.... dark!!!
I opted again in using Bell travel services with its bus ride to the airport. i waited in front of the Queen Victoria hotel for the shuttle. again a freaking "katoey" scared the shit out of me coming out of the dark!!! it i have had a shotgun, i would had blown that piece of shit to pieces!!!
The van showed up on time and once at the bus station, was transferred to a regular AC bus for the ride to the airport.
Arrival was uneventful at the airport, turning out to be a sunny day. funny with the glass display of dangerous items not allowed on planes and the regular landmark of the thai warrior in the airport lobby.
After doing the regular checking in and getting my boarding pass, was on my way to the boarding gate. was not buying nothing since i was coming back in a few days, specially liquor. my boarding gate was soon there and i was glancing at the Philippine airline flight to manila.
I was hoping this was going to be a nice ride, not the best of opinions of this airline; got my boarding pass out and right after i was going in, wasn't going to be a full flight, good for me, one good sight was the cute pinay flight hostess in the plane. sure i thought she would be a bundle of joy on a date.
Arriving in pinayland was quick and soon after i was running to get my bag and get to the bus station. as usual, it was a pain in the neck waiting for your bag. then it took a little while to find an honest taxi driver but got one and headed to the Star bus station on EDESA. did this following the advice of my bedridden friend becuase as a long PI resident, he knows his way around here than yours truly. was lucky to catch the last bus bound for DAU.
I made a reservation with the Brassknob hotel but the room was shit so been too late and tired i choose to stay just that night and next morning look for another hotel. so sad that that hotel is been run down, it used to be real good.
Still i wanted to check some of the bars around so i went to the Insomnia bar, got me coulle of firecrackers there and had a few drinks with them. didn't partake with any of them 'cause i was kind of tired after this crazy trip and the fuck up room at the hotel.

Had a usual late snack and early next morning i was damn lucky to find a room at the Perimeter hotel, not too far from the hotel i was in. the room after i inspected it was damn good and i was quote a rate of PHP 1,200 per night. SOLD!!! place even has a couple of bars on the ground floor.

As i got settled down, went out to drop my dirty clothes at the nearby laundry and got me a quick bite to eat. still i enjoyed more tasty snacks at margaritaville and went for a quick look at fields avenue's bars.
Decided to head to the old part of town to get me some DVDs and the customary snack halo halo. my friend had to go to the hospital so i kind waited for him to feel well enough for me to give him a visit, so, just floating around and soaking on the sights. my buddy's accident was just dumb and it shows that when murphy's law is in play, your number's up!!! no matter if you're hidding in a steel bunker. one good thing was that i found me a soccer shirt of my beloved team so i got it right away!!!
Finally had a chance to see this "wounded warrior", he's ok but with a cast on his leg and bedbound!!! surprized that he was at least able to move around with crouches. we had a get together at Tequila reef and enjoyed a huge breakfast while watching the sweeties walk around.
I pretty much was chaperoning my friend all this time, went a number of times on fields for drinks and the last nite we ended up on this small bar on Perimeter road that had a number of cute dancers. was so tempted that i grabbed one of them and had a super night. sorry don't remenber the bar name but i sure know where it is. there is always no shortage of sexy gals on this town.

Now, this side trip was not a pussy hunting trip but a cordial visit to a oong time friend in distress, it sure help to bring up his morale and i was happy to see this. then it was time head back to Pattaya and i was that day back at the airport in Manila for my return trip to LOS.
One thing is so ridiculous the way pinoys run things is the solution for the air conditioned matters at this new terminal. way to solve this is to set up a regular stand fan!!! i almost got a hernia for laughing so hard!!! only in pinoyland!!!
After getting my boarding pass and getting to my gate, i was nothing left to do than to wait. it was again a small plane and didn't look it was going to be a full plane again. had some snacks aboard and the meal was well prepared. my mind was only thinking in getting back to Pattaya.
