Singapore in a nutshell

I happened to be in this city/state country for a little while and it just happened to have a few days to kill. so, i decided to head to Batam and have some fun. Since this is not a report "per say" on this city, i would just give a general overview on how things are nowadays here.

flying into Changi airport was a breeze and going through inmmigration/customs was a no brainer. you can get a SIM card there but i got me one later on in town. my main mode of transportation here was the MRT and very convenient.



While here i stayed at the Hotel 81 (Princess), in the Geyland district.

This hotel served my needs very well, no problems on my side. room had all the commodities and though modest is very clean and safe. been in this hotel before and is guest friendly, no problem at all, nobody would bat an eye at all. another big pointer is that is in the middle of all those sex provided houses in the Geyland. plus the eateries around the Geyland area is awesome and very affordable. you'll do well unless Asian food is not what you like.



Singtel is a very reliable cell service and was happy with it, not cheap on international calls but if you budget yourself, it'll work. did sometimes after work go to Lucky plaza and saw the bar where i used to go pick up some pinay girls, it has a different name but the a very decent selection of chicks.



Orchard towers is going strong, only complaint is the growing amount of transvestites flooding the place. sometimes i went to Hard rock cafe for some meals and it wasn't bad. still, most of my meals were at food courts and love it!!!!



Another mall i used to go was the Northpoint mall on Yishun and saw some serious expansion going on. tended to go a lot to the movie theaters in the back of the mall and sometimes have a tasty burger on this burger restaurant wehre you order your meal from these self order machines, only place in Singapore with this set up.



The food court at the Northpoint mall is a good choice to have a meals and the variety is very good.



One place i wanted to check while here was the old landmark of Clifford pier with the red lantern tower restaurant and bar. I sure went for a surprized one day after work, Raffles hasn't change a bit; my eye opener was the total transformation of clifford pier. now, there is a hotel; the Fullerton Bay hotel and very fancy, its cheapest room goes for around S$500!! all the waterfront has been remodeled and though looks great, the sad part is that the pussy went somewhere else. in the old days i could go there and pick up some nice Indonesian/thai gals; oh well, all thanks to progress!?!?!? even the Merlion looks kind of weird but still a symbol in this city.



This Fullerton business group has bought pretty much most of the waterfront and set a series of high class eateries, hotels and though like i said, the place looking good, it has pretty much killed the sex scene in that part of town.

while in Singapore didn't have much time to relax and go on the hunt; specially since most of the time i tended to go back to the hotel late at night. still tried to relax and enjoy myself.
I was hoping to head to Batam for 3-4 days but fate wasn't on my side and ended up with just an overnite deal, nonetheless, i was going. the MRT is just great and it has a station inside the Harbourfront terminal and mall.



I used the Ariza money exchange shop on the 1st floor to get me some Indonesian ruppees for some of my expenses in the local mall in Batam.



You can book a holiday getaway package in Batam or Bintan islands, but, i doubted you could get some sex included.



There are a few choices when it comes to go to Batam; you have Majestic fast ferry, Horizon fast ferry, Sindo ferry and Batam fast. you either would go to Batam centre, Sekupang or Harbour bay.

I tend to like going to Batam centre and the overall schedules are very convenient, pretty much running from early morning to early evening (at the latest).



Elected to get my R/T tickets from batamfast ( i'm a creature of habit). the fare was S$48 and i was in business!!!!



I went very quick to the departure area after gotten my tickets and check on my way the monitors to make sure i was on time.



Finally going through the boarding steps was easy and the Fast Ferry wasn't full this time.



Weather starting to go to shit and rain pick up very fast, you can forget using an umbrella 'cause is useless with the amount of water coming down.



One funny moment was to find this marine company advertising in the terminal with my "non de guerre" MarcoPolo. decided to sanp a pic and post it on the report for posterity!!!



Batam island or pussy on the go

The trip to Batam is about an hour or so. very fast and by the time i got there the rain was pretty much over. the terminal passenger in Batam centre went through a facelift and it surely looks a lot better than in the past. on another note, was pleasantly surprized i didn't have to pay a US$10 for the entry visa. i got it for free!!!



After clearing inmigration i headed to the Kaha counter to pick up my hotel voucher and get me some more local money for side expenses. i know, you can use Singaporean dollars here but i tend to use local currency for small stuff not related to pussy hunting (clothes, food, souvenirs, taxis, etc...)



Damn, that terminal looks pretty good and got my hotel vouchers and headed out to town. i booked a taxi at the main entrance where there is a counter for bookings ( IDR 70,000= ).



I picked the Formosa hotel; familiar with this hotel; very reasonable rates and it has all you need for a night of fun.



Don't recall in previous trips here but this time, the front desk attendant had me deposit 20 bucks for the credit card key for my room?!?! it was good i got the money back at check out.



The room was kind of big and well set up, clean, full bath, AC, wifi but didn't used it. had a fridge with drinks in it but i tended to buy my own drinks out. i also received breakfast vouchers, coffee vouchers and special offers for golfing (not a fan of such sport, except when watching sexy Sharapova!!!). bed was of good size and very soft.



All of a sudden, AGAIN, the sky oppened up and here came the rain in buckets!! had to chill in my room for a while 'til the tsunami from above stops. it did and then i headed to the Nagoya hill mall to get me a light meal and relax before i hit the KTV this evening.



Nagoya hill mall hasn't change much over the years and the crowds weren't as tick as they could be here. enjoyed the sights and had me a typical Asian meal, couple with a strong coffee to fire up my system in this fancy restaurant on one of the top floors.



It was a tasty meal and later on i windowed shop a little, then got me a few DVDs movies dirt cheap and headed back to the hotel. mall is not far and is an easy 5 minutes or so walk.



Had already in mind to spend my nite in the hotel's KTV. the Alishan's KTV is on the top floor and it has quite a number of girls, most are young and fun to be with. of course it also has a few older women.



Once i exited the elevator on the KTV level, looked around to check the "harem", it was plentyful. only drawback was that some of the good looking gals and young ones were only willing to go for drinks and singing and that's it!!!!

Well, it all depends if they are willing to make good money or not. the Mamasan was honest enough to tell me this and she was helpfull to know what i was looking for. i told her i wanted to do a booking for all night after some singing and drinking in one of the KTV rooms.

Once i was taken to a nice and private room with long sofas. i was introduced to the girls that were available for "take outs". i was on the mode of a nice and brick build gal for some honest and plain raw sex so i picked this older gal but with a nice set body and tits. and to just pamper a bit and be gentle i got me a smaller, and more asian looking gal that would have passed as a pinay.

Best and only way to break the ice or whatever that might preclude girls to have a good time is to get the beer, rum and coke and other fancy mix drinks flowing (one of my older brothers advice!!)

So this is what i did and brought with me enough money to back this up!!!

It didn't take long to get the gals and myself singing like pros!!! i sure had an awesome time and all i was doing was singing, drinking, snacking, grouping, kissing, grabbing and just acting like a sex pervert. the gals did help and i was or they were all over me. i probably was there like 4 hours or so. it was a total mad time KTV style. i have an attendant there to serve me and bring whatever i ordered and i fell sorry for him 'cause he was looking how i was enjoying myself and all he could do is to just look.

In my initials forays into Batam i was always careful in my spendings. main reason was i was kind of trouble with all those zeros in the currency and had hard times trying to figure out how much i was paying in clubs or KTVs. last thing i wanted i to fall short on the bill. over time i got good at it and by this time i was an expert in calculating how much was a bill in US dollars or sing dollars.

I made sure i didn't get too wasted to enjoy my bed time with a gal so i tended to drink and eat some snacks to counterbalance the alcohol.

At the end i beleived the KTV bill came to like S$ 270=; and listen, this included the girls booking for the nite; so, i was a winner all around and didn't have to pawn my underwear!!!! (just joking!!!).

Only stupid thing i did and ofund out later was me loosing some of the pics i took in the room. better said, my freaking laptop "ATE THEM" !!! don't ask me how, but i tried so many times and can't find them.

These are the only ones i could recover and are of the older chick. i know maybe some of you would say she is not that good but let me tell you , she was a very good tropper and an amazon in bed!!!. the smaller gal was also so good but sadly the pics are MIA 'til now.

Next morning with a modest hangover i went to get me a much needed breakfast, oriental style. then after checking out i took a taxi to the Batam centre and my rendenvouz with my ride back to Singapore.



It was quick to get me a boarding pass and went to the passenger area after clearing inmigration. again, here the terminal looks damn good and so clean the place looks. i saw it was going to be a full house on the way back.



Boarding took a little longer but soon i was on my way back to Singapore. since it was weekend, the arrival was delayed quite a bit due to the many ferries trying to dock bringing and leaving the Harbourfront terminal.



SINGAPORE AND FINAL THOUGHTS

There is always a small inconvenience and this was not the exception. there were probably like 1 million passengers trying to get into Singapore so i waited around like 1 1/2 hours in order to clear customs/inmigration. oh boy, waht choice did i had!!!!



Once i got through the madness i had me a tasty snack in the food court and then i procedded to exchange my leftover ruppees into sing dollars. afterwards it was back to my hotel in the Geyland.



Soon after following days i had to go to Lucky plaza to get my tickets home and enjoy on e last ice dessert.

It could have been a better trip to batam but i had to deal with job commintments so was at the of the higher ups. still was very satisfied with this quick detour and fun in Batam.
though a short report, i do hope you guys have fun in reading it. 'til next time!!!!

So I take Bantam is not entirely gone for punting then? I had read it was a Disneyland there but then it dried out. Is the action only on the KTVs now? Any street scene or Dolly style places?

Batam island has and going through a some kind of transformation with construction going on but is a slow process and most of is oriented towards industrials parks.
Sex rules!!!! and you still have the Nagoya entertainment district (NED); a few blocks of bars that caters mainly to "Bules, Farangs, etc.." that's us!!! you can go there and pick a girl for the night. since i was kind of limited on my time i decided to skip it this time.
Most of the venues here have clubs and KTVs where you still can get a girl, young or old depending on your preferences.
though it was a very short stay i enjoyed it very much. still haven't found a hotel in Batam that would frown on girls been brought for the night. Now, singapore is another matter and the one i stayed in the geyland is ok with you bringing a chick for the night.

I dont remember every using SIngapore dollars the times I was there a long ass time ago. That is a bad sign when they actually have the balls to charge in a foreign currency.

Are the casas gone now? Freelancers at the discos at night?

I guess you could pay in local currency but to be honest, ever since my very first trip to Batam, i've always used sing dollars to pay my bills in KTVs. remenber that they could also take US dollars but never volunteer to do this. it was my choice to pay in local currency and they give you the bill in rupees but since i got pretty much singapore dollars i just told them i will pay in that currency.
I do get Indonesian rupees but i use it for my daily shopping as a general rule (malls, food, taxi, etc...). in the past and still now, the malls only would take Indo rupees!!!
Do beleive if you pay with sing dollars you get ahead and get more for your fun in your favor. so far it works for me.
never been in jakarta so i wouldn't know if is the same over there. my guess is that this works like this here 'cause of its proximity to singapore and the heavy presence of "bules" on the weekends coming from singapore.
I partied at this particular KTV at least 5 hours and i didn't hold back on the liquor, snacks and whatever i wanted for me and the chicks. on top i got me 2 girls for the night. trying to remenber the total bill but i do recalled it was something like S$ 280-290= (this including the 2 "bookings". leaving i gave the mamasan like 10-15 US dollars and 10 US bucks to the waiter serving my KTV room.
I did asked about if there were any casas but the only one i was shown was pathetic so i declined right away. the bar /club area in the NED (nagoya enter'ment) district still running.
I didn't go to some of the big discos 'cause of my time constraint but from what i heard from friends at work, no major changes.
batam indeed is going through a major construction phase but its mainlt gear to industrial parks (kind of free tax economic zone), also i saw lots of areas with housing coming up. when i was there the exchange was like
US$ 1 = INDR = 10,000-11,000; so i was in good footing.
once i got back to singapore i exchanged all my Indo money into sings (had just a few bills left), always try to used it all .

Thanks for another report! What I want to know is, was there sex in the KTV room? I'd assume it was permitted but you never do know. Also, would paying for take out be the only way to get sex in the KTV in the first place, or could one save a little and just call it a night after the KTV romp? But, for that price I would have taken them to my room for round 2 also.

I stayed at the Formosa hotel. been there before and is a well set up place with restaurant and bar, plus a massage place and a KTV on the top floors.
This aside, i can tell tell you with ciertainty that there is no sex in the KTV rooms. i am assuming if you take the girl to the restroom attached to the KTV room you could, as long she agrees and nobody interrupts you deal. but i think if the attendants or anybody working in the KTV finds out what you are doing, they might give you one hell of a problem.
The times i've been to this hotel KTV; i've always taken at least 2 or sometimes 3 girls with me and just kiss, grab ass, grab/rub pussy, squeze tits, deep kissing, fondle legs, take panties down and what not during the time i was there. I did a lot of stuff, SHORT to actual having sex in the premises. i know i'm taking the chicks to my room so i don't get desperate, the "fish" already in the grill (sort to speak).
Bottom line you could do it in the restroom attached to the KTV room but i have never try it.
I highly recomend this place while in Batam.///

A big YES!!! I did take both girls, now, reason you don't see pics of the other chick is that the pics of her in the room or shots taken with the other gal are missing in my laptop.
I tend to have this problem once in a while, set a so called secret file and is so well set up and hidden that now i can't find it!!!! figure it would take me 100 years to see where it was!!! oh well, sooner or later my laptop would spit it out!!!!!

Thanks for the info on Formosa. So I take it there's an ensuite bathroom? I'm sure that's why it's there so while one couple is singing, the other one is "freshening up." The managers are not naive, but at the same time discretion is the better part of valor. I can see why you chose to wait until you got to your room. It's rare to get LT in Thailand anymore and even the Phils, so just good to see you can get it for not too much all in one hotel. I like it! It reminds me of Macau

You're right with the term, its an insuite bathroom, you can see the upper frame of the door in one of the pics (behind a low wall cover), just a glimpse. nothing fancy, it has a toilet, sink, big mirror and not too small. you can lock it from the inside if you wish.
So, i try not to go too wild 'cause not wanting to attract unwanted attention get into hot water with the management.
I'm always been treated nice there (it was like my 6-7th visit) so far. the sellection of girls wasn't bad but i've seeing better line ups before. these chicks come and go. most if not all come from jakarta or the other cities. this time i saw a lot of young nice looking gals but some of them were not going with the customers for the night, just to sing and drink in the KTV suites and that's it!!! of course i rule this out from the start, if not wanting to get laid; then, i wasn't going to spend a single sing dollar with these chicks and ask the mamasan to show me the one that i can book for the nite!!!
