Part 1 of an article from eastasiatribune.com of a Chinese guy going undercover to find a Pyongyang brothel of the North Korean elite.
This covers the efforts to get in, but we have to wait on part 2 to be published next week to see what happened next.

Sounds like a fun place to monger.

It'll be great if he gets in and finds a bunch of Club Hombre Asia hands in the lounge.

Anything you can read that documents the inside of North Korea is interesting and this was no exception. Looking forward to the next installment. However, if this mission was really as risky as the author describes, you have to wonder why he would go through with this for what? To find out that the powerful men of Pyongyang have access to working ladies like powerful men everywhere do. It isn't like the writer is opening up a hidden flesh market to the general public. Is there anybody here who had any doubts that the NoKo government had some women stashed away as lust outlets for their ministers and generals? Bottom line is this "journalist" is either the craziest motherfucker in the world or it is just plain fiction that he put his life on the line for the sake of a peek into a Pyongyang brothel.

I'm assuming this is a general interest publication, so the writer when he gets inside will probably just pretend to have just observed and skip any description of how good the bbbj was. On the other hand, if he doesn't want to get caught the best thing would be to go ahead and have a session.

Now it is time for part 2:
http://www.eastasiatribune.com/north-asia/five-nights-in-pyongyang-part-ii-the-secret-brothel-of-north-koreas-elite/
Our author gets inside the brothel and has a session with a beautiful girl, but he goes silent on the description once she climbs naked into his jacuzzi.
There is supposed to be a part 3 to follow, no doubt about escaping the country with his fake cover in tact.
Moving around the site there is an article about Pattaya which chronicles the increasing cost and how the lowered Thai birthrate and improving economy are choking off the supply of bar girls. Rare semi-main stream article which is factual and doesn't play up human trafficing angles at all.

Part III has been released:
http://www.eastasiatribune.com/north-asia/five-nights-in-pyongyang-part-iii-the-secret-brothel-of-north-koreas-elite/
So it turns out that the North Koreans were on to his duplicity from the get go. However rather than turn him in they have set him up to help them free the beautiful girl he sessioned with from being held in captivity since she is the daughter of one of the Norks!
I've read a lot of trip reports over the years but never came across a twist ending like that. Nice touch, but still doesn't make up for no photos.

"Chu returned to North Korea in February 2016, and the full details of the covert operation he was involved in are due to be published in a new three-part series, Five Miles from the DPRK Border: The Liberation of Sun-Young, beginning on April 22, 2016."

Almost certainly Erip is right, it's fiction:

It's a great read though, I'm anxiously awaiting Part IV.

Jigettis;
This is not your report !!! you didn't made this trip so why you post it here??? WTF!!!!
I see it was somebody else's report going there. i just read some of the comments and not even interested on somebody going to north korea.
If you feel writing about north korea and relate your mongering experiences, make the trip "YOURSELF"; then, you can post it in this website, otherwise, keep it to yourself; this a website about going places, experiences and women in special so bringing "kind of" political themes here is out of place to say the least.

Marco:
There is such little activity on this board, don't see the point of carping that a link to a 3rd party "trip report' should be kept off the board.
I clearly labbled this report as the work of others and didn't pretend it was mine.
It probably turns out to be fiction, but the very idea of an expose of a brothel in North Korea was, IMHO, worth reading about.
