I've been going to Cabo for some time. Castle is right. Squid Row rocks all night long and many of the dancers from the strip clubs head that way after hours. Cabo is one of Mexico's fastest growing resort destinations and is a particular draw for the Westcoast party crowd. A lot of the young women there are ready to party but, just like back home, you're going to be competing with the young and buff. The easiest place to score is right out side of Squid Row from about 11:30 on. I number of girls (occassionally very attractive) stroll the steet offering pot or a party. Some even drive up and down the main strip and pull over to ask if you want company. Quality varies and the prices are high by Mexico standards. A hundred bucks should get her to your hotel, but you can usually expect to get your money's worth without the knock at the door after 30 minutes. These girl don't do high volume.

Club action is hit or miss and nothing like TJ. There are a lot of clubs there considering it really isn't a very big town. The most beautiful women and the greatest number are at Mermaids. But these girls do fairly well just dancing and, while some will respond to the right offer, it usually will have to be pretty steep. I had a couple suggest I meet them at Squid Row after hours but I'm pretty useless after 3am. The sister bar to Mermaid is Splash. The girls are raunchier and so's the dancing. Private dances are $20 with some serious touchy feely but you can't do too much there. The place is dirty and smokey, but the girls seem much more willing to negotiate. Even so, you can expect the bargaining to start pretty high. Close to these two clubs and on the main drag is Lord Black's. For looks, LB's is second in quality only to Mermaids. The layout is more like an American style club. Bar, runway in the center. Many of the girls seem perfectly willing to just spend time with you without any pressure. Lord Blacks can be full of suprises. There is a private dance area ($20). Some of the girls are shy and won't let you touch. Others...oh my. One night an absolutely stunning girl imediately stripped in the booth buck naked and let my fingers do the walking everywhere. I asked if sex were possible. She said not here, but would I like to have a dance in the 'private lounge'. She said it was $100 and you got more time. That was when I noticed there was another private dance area in the other corner of the club. I still wasn't sure if this meant sex was involved but I decided to take the chance. In the booth she said we had to be quiet so the club didn't find out. She stripped, undressed me, sat on top of me in the chair and rode me like a wild-child. It was incredibly erotic fucking this gorgeous babe with a room full of people just a few feet away. And she didn't ask for anything more than the fee I paid at the booth. Bolero's which is a second floor club close to Squid Row appears to be closed. The most over billed club is Celebrities about two blocks east of Squid Row. The place is glitzy, the drinks are expensive, and the girls suck (and I don't mean in a good way). It must be a company requirement that in order to work there a girl must smoke like a chimney. I did have a girl offer to give a BJ in the private booth for for fifty, but considering that each dance was costing me $20 I passed.

There are actually two 'zona roja's in Cabo. On Moreno just around the corner from Squid Row is the Galaxy, formerly Balenas. It's very dark but newly remodelled since some flooding last year. I only saw two girls working. The really skanky one kept coming on. The young cute one sat at the bar chatting to the staff. I finally asked the waiter if I could chat with the cute one. She got up and went to the back door. A few minutes later the waiter said she was waiting for me in her room and the price was $100 which included the room charge. I decided to go for it. Her 'name' was Maui. She was 20, very cute and liked sex so I had a good time. The place was a little creepy but OK. On the same corner as Galaxy and upstairs is another bar, with pool and drinks and the girls are there for business. A couple doors down is Todos Bravo (or something like that) kind of a dive but with the occassional gem. The other 'zona roja' is about a block behind Celebrities. There are three or four traditional Mexican bars with some local girls of poor quality. These appeared to be exclusive to Mexicanos and I did not get the impression that gringos were welcome.

There is also a new massage parlor a block from Galaxy. I assume from the layout it is full service. It was clean and bright butI was not impressed by the girls and it was expensive ($70 for the door).

I wouldn't suggest going to Cabo for sex but, if you happen to be there...it's available. PS> I was told that a club in San Jose del Cabo also has entertainers.

Sorry to get back to you so late Valentino. I haven't seen much day action however some of the dancers told me they might have some time to get together during the day. As I recall the massage place close to Galaxy is open during the day. You might want to check that out.

My favorite restaurants in Cabo are Mi Casa and the House of Shrimp. Mi Casa is about two block west of Mermaids. It's just outside of the tourist area (I can't remember the street name) but any local can direct you. The outside doesn't impress but inside is a wonderful traditional open-air courtyard style affair with excellent food, service and ambiance. House of Shrimp is on the main strip directly across from Lord Black's. The large shrimp and lobster is well worth the $12. They run their own shrimp boats in the Sea of Cortez so the shrimp are very large, fresh and full of natural flavor.

I usually stay in the local hotels. The price drops remarkably with each block you get away from the central tourist area. Three worth note are on the same street a short walk from Mermaids. One block east of Mermaids is a one-way street running north (again, can't remember street names). The first hotel is on the right called The Milagro. Excellant rooms, small swimming pool, in a small private setting but a little pricy at $65. The owners live in the first cottage by the gate but the gate is locked at night and nobody monitors who comes and goes. The second is just a little furtherdown the street on the left. The Hotel (?) is upstairs with a little clothing store downstairs and has a couple of parking stalls. The rooms were very nice, clean and secure and run about $36. The central stairway up the fron is kept locked but is not monitored. Just one thing, the widow by the bed looks directly into the next room as I found out one night when I sacked out early and the couple came home shortly thereafter. The third is a little further still at the first intersection. Similar to the second in character and price but with ground floor rooms.

Eighty miles north of Cabo is the quiet, historic town of La Paz. Strangly enough flights into La Paz can be as much as $200 less than to Cabo. La Paz has its own charms. Strolling the malacon on a balmy night among all the locals holding hands watching the sun set across the water...muy romantico. Later ask a taxi to take you to MI RANCHITO. Located on the southern edge of town, the place is sike stepping into the saloons of the old west. Weekends are best with usually 25 to 40 women. The pickings are frequently lean but there's usually 3 or 4 worth meeting. Check out Leanna. Young, petite firecracker who is gifted with an extraordinarily large clit. 'Hmmmm...the better to eat you with my dear.' You may be the only gringo in the place but not to worry. This place is MAJOR gringo friendly and even the locals will take you in as just one of the guys. Don't worry about getting a ride home. Ranchito has taxis permanently in front and, though you should always watch your wallet, security is provided by the local police.

(PS. La Paz also has a Lord Blacks. Don't bother.)

Update from last Fall: Bolero's is now owned by the some folks as Lord Black's. $100 got sex in the 'special room' but I'd advise getting that clear before forking up. Some real jewels strolling the streets near 'Squid'. YMMV

All the nice looking ones at Bolero will probably rip you off for the $100 room. The skanks will only suck you off in there or for $50 bucks in the regular room. Real hustle in there.

Lord Blacks is still the best for relaxing and talking with girls. $100 gets you probably only a BJ at best unless you pick the ugly ones.

20/20 has the best value. Guaranteed BJ for $50-60 plus the cost of 3 sones at $20/song. Nice looking women most of the time but varies.

Street whores outside of Squid are marginal and will go back to your room for $60 FS.
