As I indicated in my last thread, the corporation that I worked for over the last 24+ years, decided to provide me with a "Golden Parachute".
Although it was substantial, I was taught to never accept a first offer.
I spent time interviewing lawyers and getting others to recommend same.
Eventually, settled on a small, but influential Bay Street firm.
The man I dealt with was one sharp dude.
To make the 4 month long story short, he wound up getting me an additional $ 68K, plus medical & dental extension, plus one more year pension contribution and they were forced to pay his legal fees.
With all this additional time on my hands, I've decided to write some long overdue Trip Reports starting with this one.
Another from my recent trip out West will follow.
Then I leave for Colombia for most of January 2017, and will write one more.
I hope you enjoy both the observations and photos.
Best Regards,
Dr. J.

Retirement is sweet. Hope you can enjoy yourself.
Keep up the good work, and don't retire from the hobby!

You are lucky. Most lawyers just suck and collect fees
