Up at 07:10.
The Hotel Night Shift Mgr. called me at 7:20 and asked if her could come up to speak to me about my guest last night.
I replied "Sure" and got dressed.
He arrives 5 minutes later.
Hands me a slip of paper with her name and phone no.
He told me that she accused me of assaulting her last night. They have it all on video, and brought in their own on-duty police to investigate.
He told me not to worry, they took pics to prove nothing happened, but informed me that she said if I don't call her today, she will be pressing charges with the Policia Nacional.
Fuckin' Wow!
All of a sudden, I wasn't feeing too good.
Cancelled on my planned afternoon date with Natalia (another bombe from the agency).
Decided to ignore the threat, but to lay low.
Watched NFL playoffs, and ordered 2 roast beef gourmet sandwiches.
By 8 p.m. decided that I didn't need to eat anything else, nor see any chicas, nor have any more drinks.
A shitty way to end my 4th day in Cali.
Made myself a note that I can't see myself coming back here ever again.
I don't go on vacation to come against that kind of nonsense!

Wow, that is an incredible story! I am glad you dodged a bullet on that one. Knowing my dumb self, curiosity would have gotten the better of me and I would have called her while on my way to the airport.

Wow! I probably would have changed hotels. It almost seems like the manager was in on it. And I am reading this right that it was an agency girl who did this? Why even go through an agency if they don't keep girls from pulling this shit? One of the downsides of rolling like you do Doc is someone may see you as a target for extortion money.
Best to look like you don't have much to get a good initial price and then bargain for more back at the pad. She gets more than she thought and is usually happy about the experience which helps afterwards.

The reality was that below, not what you've interpreted.
1) The hotel was paid on arrival, in Full. You gonna' pack up and leave?
2) The Night Mgr. was certainly not in on it. He was just doing his due diligence.
3) She was not an agency girl. I picked her from the line-up at Flores Frescas.
4) I let the girl drink a little too much. That was the problem!

I am very happy you didn't get way too involved in this extortion scheme; that is what it looks to me. this nasty "HO" got all these life issues and she probably thought with you she won the lottery (kind of).
once again, so pleased you didn't get hurt in any way with this nonsense.
it would be prudent to stay away from this city for a while. still thanks for sharing your trip events and pics.
