Went downstairs for a quick 2-egg omelette, coffee and more fruit.
Called for a bell boy at 09:25.
On checking out I noticed the hotel had hit-me-up for 2 Guest fees. 60K each.
Other than that, my actual hotel costs were lower than the $ 113 USD per that had been anticipated.
Smooth drive to the airport. Paid 63K.
It looked real bad for a while to check-in. The goddamn' line-up was like hundreds of people long.
Fortunately at 11:00 they called for a line diversion for those who were leaving on the Noon flight to Medellin. This truly saved my ass!
Now, it only took minutes to check-in, "nada" at security and finally in the air-conditioned lounge area by Gate B10 at 11:10.
It took exactly 47 minutes to get to Medellin.
The fact that the flight actually left near the scheduled departure time was amazing on it's own.
My luggage was out quick.
The driver was waiting for me with signage.
All good, for an easy drive in.
Couldn't help but notice that the traffic going the other way, i.e. out-of-town was a jam up of minimum 20 kilometers long.
Paid the dude the 80K.
The rep was waiting at the apartment, and the maid was just finishing up.
Bought some supplies at the "Exito" just down the road. Then some lasagna take-out for later.
Walked around abit. Found the Medellin "Hooters" location.
Ate, drank and watched more NFL Playoffs.
