Got up early (07:20) and went down the street to the café. Two coffees and an omelette with 6 ingredients.
Packed by 09:15.
My man arrived early.
An easy drive to Rio Negro.
He wanted no money. I forced 100K on him anyway.
Got hit for the 2nd suitcase at the Avianca counter.
Other than that, way ahead of schedule, and the flight even pushed off early.
Landed exactly 1 hour later.
I grabbed the first cab to Edificio Poseidon. Cost was 18K.
The new owner was waiting, with his new Colombian wife.
Paid the 20K fee, gave him the damage deposit ($ 150 USD), checked that the Wi-Fi worked, and scheduled the maid for the following Monday.
After they left, I unpacked and went to score some rum, coke, and limes for the Play-off games.
At half-time went to the beach restaurant sector, but they were dead. Decided on a Italianisimo sandwich at Subway.
Left to go out late, but discovered that both entrances to LDV were roped off.
Crashed around midnight.
