Chapter Four; Ermita, my old stumping ground
-----------------------------------------------
It was with a heavy heart that i had to leave Angeles city and headed to Manila for my last days in country, always sad doing this. the ride from Dau on a Victory liner bus was good and arrived in no time to the terminal at Edesa.
At the terminal in Edesa took a taxi ride to the Southern Cross hotel in Ermita. this hotel, though old, is well maintained and kept clean. only drawback at the time was the elevator was down for maintenance.
The Southern Cross Hotel
1125 M. H. Del Pilar street, Ermita
Manila, 1000
Cell 63-921-506-0019

The room is old but very clean and it has all the amenities i wanted, such as AC, cable tv, full bath, safety box, coffee maker, nice bed, big window, room service and no problems bringing gals for the night.
I tried some of the local b'fast and it was a tasty fried fish with eggs and rice, not bad.
while there i went aorund to see the surroundings and found the old Swagman hotel has a new management, sad to say is not the same and is now a watering version of the old good service it used to has. there is a Puregold store nearby where you can get your munchies plus a 711 on the street corner for your needs.
I saw the old country and western club still there, a good place to pick up freelancers.
Another victim of time was to find the old Birdwatchers apartelle and restaurant gone for good, now a KTV joint. i used to go there some times when in Manila and it was a good alternative.
I wasn't going to be there long time and was lucky enough to get me this sexy gal to hang around with. I kind of just kept her with me for the duration. a true example you still can get a sweet girl to soothe your days (and nights).

This is a rare indeed occasion for me in which i would block her facial features of my gal since i know her for a while and she truly is not in the "game". you can call this a tribute to pinay beauty !!!!!
There is a Robinson's place mall closed by and i used to go there to hang around and see what's up. i had a vietnamese bowl of soup there but i made the mistake to drink the local water; ended up with "moctezuma's revenge" later on.
The Ermita area has changed quite a bit since the bars were closed by ex mayor Lim. still you can find freelancers BUT just be careful of your surroundings at night, walking aorund at night like a dummy is an invitation to get mug
My girl is a sight to relish, one of the last mornings there i sannaped these shots of her, just lying down on bed like a death "tilapia", she has such a lovely lines that i could look at her for days on !!!!!

Menu for this hotel is not bad and made use of it often while there.
I was pleasantly surprized to see at the airport that a renovation was done and the departing hall has a new facelift. sure looks a lot better than the warehouse looks of the past.
My flight left on time and once again i had to wait for a little while in Shanghai for my connecting flight back to the "cruel world".
Once i got me rolling for my flight, then, reality started to sink in. oh well, til next time..........
Final Words
--------------------
I enjoyed very much this trip and had a greater satisfaction than on my last trip to the Dominican Republic.
I always have some thoughts of things i should have done but couldn't, i do hope i can catch up with them next time around.
Would like to point out that the time i took those two gals from candy bar in Angeles city, i took then not to the Mustang Suites but to the Perimeter hotel. why i did it ???? decided i wanted to just get a room for that night and not bring the gals to my place at the Mustang Suites; yeap, i know it might has been dumb from me but what can i say. sometimes i don't understand even myself !!!!!
Do hope this was entertaining and looking forward to my next trip sometime this mid year (cross my fingers!!!!).

Funny how flights to Puerto Plata are currently higher from where I live in the US than to Manila or Bangkok. Around Christmas I booked a RT to BKk late April for $475 USD!!! Anybody going to be in Pattaya and visit the Darkside lemme know. Sorry for the typos

An easier ride for about $15 would be the Southern Cross bus from AC (pickup at your AC hotel) to the Southern Cross hotel in Manila, where you stayed.
Did you check out the pickup bars in Ermita: LA Cafe, G Point, and Amazonia? A 15-minute walk south along Del Pilar St would put you in the nightclub area of Remedios St for ;midnight action. Between those two points are a number of KTVs, which cater primarily to Asians; but any male with money can enter.

Quilombo;
I beleive my trip to DR last sep '16 was a hit and miss deal. I did enjoy or had a good impression of Boca Chica, so i think i would like to go back there. Sosua to me is a waste of time and won't give it the time of the day anymore.
Greengrasser;
it was my last days and didn't do much but rest and spent time with my honey !!!
I know or have a good idea of the bars and th area with the KTVs in the ermita area. not as cheap as it used to be in the past but you still get a good catch if you look hard.
I've taken the southern cross shuttle before but i wanted to get to manila a lot earlier and not wait til sundown to be there.
