Chapter One
This was my first trip to Asia in 2 and a half years. Have become extremely busy at work to the point that even 3 days off puts my office into chaos. I also have a harem that I rotate in and out of my place in TJ which keeps me satisfied. Tough to want to go anywhere sometimes when you have 12-15 girls that can come over at any given moment for bbfscp for 1,000-1,500 pesos from anywhere from 2 hours to TLN.
I originally tried to book with Singapore Airlines as its my favorite airline but the routes I wanted were booked during their $650US promo to Asia. Finally found a flight for $423RT on China East Airlines. LAX has improved a bit but they really lack on decent options to eat and drink. Its mostly bells and whistles with very little substance. I believe they were ranked as one of the 10 worst airports in the world and that’s even after the remodel. Last two times I went to Asia via SFO after visiting family.
The problem was not China Eastern’s service or punctuality but it was the fact that the flight left at 11:30am and arrived 2 days later at 1am. Better to leave on a red eye during the many flights that leave at 1am or so and arrive around noon or so. Really depends on airline but Eva seems to have the best schedule and flights cheap enough. I just could not sleep on the 14.5 hour flight to Shanghai, during the 3 hour layover in Shanghai nor on the 5 hour flight to Bangkok. I don’t like the feeling I get during and after with sleeping pills and Melatonin just doesn’t work, especially considering that turbulence wakes me up no matter what.
I arrived at BKK airport exhausted and several China based airlines unloaded the famous Chinese tour groups with their leader using a whistle or clapping with a white flag. They crowd, they elbow, they ignore lines, they just slam to the front. Immigration officials were losing it and it didn’t even phase them. Huge lines and it took 1 hour to get through immigration. Got my luggage after exchanging some money and it was already 3am and my driver was long gone as my flight was to arrive at 1am but was 20 minutes late and it took a long time to finally get through to the gates. Had to get an airport taxi for 1,500 baht from an 80 year old guy sleeping in the front seat when my original taxi was a modern Nissan for 1,000 baht.
Guy was flying around, talking on the phone and tailgating diesel trucks. I had to keep telling him to kap rot cha cha but that would last a few seconds or so. Took 80 minutes and arrived around 5am or so to wake up the proprietor at a great newish hotel called Hideaway Guest House. Beautiful big room with hard wood(laminate) floors, 42 inch flat screen smart tv, full lineup of American channels, nice comfy bed, great shower, etc. 3rd floor so have to hike up every time but its exercise so np.
Slept until noon and met my friend whom is a Costa Rican testosterone therapy doctor with his hot Plastic surgeon girlfriend. They wanted to go to the Sri Racha Tiger zoo which I had went to 15 years ago or so. You can feed a baby tiger by bottle, watch pig races, have scorpions on your body from the scorpion queen, several badass tiger shows. Very hot. Crazy thing was they took photos with a full size tiger yet they had what was presumably an African guy in full African tribal gear with a spear standing behind the tiger for photos. At first I thought it was fake and then realize that guy had to stand behind the tiger all day in that cage for pennies. Peta and Human Rights activists would lose their mind there.
We ended up back in Pattaya and ate at Sugar Hut which is great but outdoors so some mosquito action. Took Uber all over the place from my place as the car is newer, aircon and just more convenient. Went to Walking Street to show them Baccara Gogo club (CH Link) which still is top 3 for hot girls but girls a bit older now and a lot more silicon, nose jobs and gigantic, terribly done tattoos. Some real stunners mixed in but the Japanese guys get the young stunners quickly so be alert. Went to Windmill (CH Link) for shock value and that was a bit much for them.
Ended up saying our goodbyes and went to Soi LK Metro. Had a tough time finding any girl that was suitable. Ended up feeling a bit drunk and exhausted from 2 hours of sleep in 3 days so I went home and slept at 5am. Loved seeing my old friend whom I have hung out with in Cuba and CR but when you only have 7 nights in Thailand, its better to just not schedule time with friends. Unfortunately I woke up 3 hour later at 8am. Went to eat an English breakfast like I always do on my first morning at Retox on Soi Lengkee. Solid English brekky for 100 baht I think. Got my sim card form DTAC for year round at prepay for I believe unlimited high speed data for 400 baht up to 6GB. http://www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/4g-non-stop.html Barely used it as every bar and restaurant has wifi as does my room. Its imperative to have a local number though or do limited roaming with your home number as the girls want you to add them on the Line app instead of Whatsapp.
Went to Kasikorn Bank to make sure my account was still active. Gave me a new ATM card and deposited 50,000 baht just in case and for my next trip.
Ended up taking a nap for 5 hours and then going to an incredible BBQ restaurant on Soi Lengkee called Smokin Joes. https://www.facebook.com/Smokin-Joes-BBQ-1601796020117429/
Not kidding when I say that this is the most perfect set of BBQ pork ribs I have ever had ANYWHERE! Fall off the bone moist, incredible smoky flavor, minimal fat or gristle, etc. Their sides were equally incredible. I rarely eat mac and cheese as its terrible for you but these kind used several kinds of cheeses and were cooked to perfection. Potato salad was also off the charts. Small serving of ribs was 400 baht but was huge. By surprise ran into SecretAsianMan whom I have been friends with for a while. It was quite shocking.
We ended up exchanging info and met up later at Soi LK Metro. I was still having a difficult time finding a barfineable girl as most were just not up to par at all. A lot of average looking girls that were either old(35) ladies with fake tits, stretch marks covered with tats, flat out fat or thin with indigenous face.
We finally met up at Gold A gogo (CH Link) and had a blast there. Was doing ro sham bo for shots of my beer which really slows down the lady drinks but the girl I was with was by far the hottest girl I had seen but I could tell was buzzed before but now wasted. We were making out and I wanted to barfine but she could barely stand so I figured I would have a dead weight girl in the room puking so passed. It was a shame as I came back several times and she never came back. She will definitely be recruited quickly by agencies to work at Walking Street.
Ended up at Sugar Sugar (CH Link) at 3am and found a girl with perfectly shaped natural tits, cute face, rounding ass and ok face. Bit chubby for my taste but she was a 7 and would do at that point. She was all over me so barfined her. She was an animal in the room. We fucked bbfs for a good 2 hours with me promising to fulfill her promise of “finit outside na ka”. Nice bubble butt actually and could do a great cowgirl. Gave her 2,000 baht as we agreed upon that after her initial offer of 3,000. Gogo girls expensive now, even at LK Metro.

I definitely vouch for EVA having the best arrival and departure times for trips to BKK from the west coast. They also have their Elite class (premium economy) which is a must for me. I refuse to cross the oceans in economy these days. The body can't handle economy class on flights that long.

Wow! Sounds like quite the schlep to get to a has been mongering destination. I understand your reluctance to travel with your TJ setup. Still it's good to travel sometimes just for the change of scenery.

I could not get the photos to upload because this program needs them all to be significantly downsized. Somehow it went through anyways only without the photos and those photos were sent to Hombre.

Besides the long lines at immigration, could you elaborate a bit on China Eastern Airlines i.e. how crowded were the flights on all four legs; seat comfort in economy; entertainment options; the booze situation? I have enjoyed your reports for years and really look forward to more of this one. Funny when you said you stayed at The Hideaway, I recognized the name from the "Kev in Thailand" vlog I subscribe to.

Thanks for the update. I never seem to make it down to Pattaya anymore.
Enjoyed your praise for ribs and warning about how unhealthy mac & cheese is. Where do you stand on Swensen's?

IF you ever go to Asia again an option to consider on the flight, JAL has non-stops San Diego/Narita. Takes LAX/SFO or SeaTac out of the trip. Likely not the cheapest flight but worth it.

The one problem with the JAL San Diego/Narita flight is the tight connection times to popular SEA cities, approx. one hour in many cases. A minor delay leaving San Diego and you're screwed, like what happened to me on a trip to Saigon a couple years ago.

Good report. Rarely do I get east of Soi Buakhao, so after reading this yesterday I tried Smokin' Joe's. I ordered the half-chicken with two sides and they brought out more food than I could eat! (I can't remember the last time that happened anywhere.)
Got to agree 100% regarding sleeping pills and melatonin; that's all bad stuff.
I wouldn't dream of arriving in BKK between midnight and 6 a.m. when the Airport Link is closed. And deal with a BKK airport taxi driver after a day's travel? Out of the question.

Thanks for the tip on the ribs, Blazers. Being from Chicago I'm always interested in a good plate...and I'll happen to be in Pattaya in about 10 days, so....
Keep the reports coming.

Baccara was a good tip, too. Walked by it many times but never checked it out until last night, and it was well worth it.
Short time bar fine was 800 baht. (Effectively 1000 since I gave my date a thousand-baht note to pay it and she glibly kept the change. Plus I had to feed her. But she returned it in trade --woo! BBFS. I owe you one, Blazie.)

1000 for the BF, and how much for ST these days for a top flight chick? I'm guessing 3000, maybe 2500 if you get lucky, so 3500 ST= $110 if you're lucky, 4000= $130 if not so lucky.
What are ya gonna do, these are the goddesses, the ones you never see in Angeles, not even in Dollhouse.
You fucking pay up or you keep fucking "try harder" 6's.

Hey what do you know, Blazers is finally back in town !
That girl is not bad, very nice perky boobs but not up to Blazers standards.
Yea I know you can't always get the hottest girls and sometimes need to grab what is available, she's not bad.
What's the exchange rate ?

Great reporting and sorry to miss you, been a decade or longer since we last tossed one back methinks. Pattaya is a blast in terms of food and hotels, but imho the gals have been lacking. Not quite down to AC ricebelly levels, but vs year past. Still for the patient, those with time, etc; some gems around.
Good call re uber; I use them often in LoS, Malaysia, and at time in MNL. Works great and no headaches.

Mr. Blazers;
excellent heads up on Pattaya doings. realise times change and not the same as before, but, still a great option in going there.
Like much the Sugar Sugar gal and nice body. I did saw how much prices has gone up since my last trip but like a mention before, i still would keep going to thailand for my vacations.
thanks much for the info and keep safe
