I arrived in Manila on March 14 and stayed at the Venice Residences by the Venice Grand Canal mall.
The canal is a cute concept to attract foreign investment. I cannot comment on the monger scene because I hooked up with two girls I met on previous trips and a webcam babe that I have wanted for about seven years.

On March 21 I moved to Angeles City at Pacific Breeze hotel.

I had good memories of Pacific Breeze from previous trips but this time found their internet to be horrible and numerous other problems like a butt washer hose that was not flexible enough, a shower that did not have a hand wand for cleaning the areas that need extra attention while mongering and fitted bed sheets that were too small for the mattress.

As for the walking street bars, the girls seemed much older and thicker than I recalled, but that may be due to the younger hotter ones returning home for holy week. There was also a lot less skin exposed on stage and far more zombie faces on immobile mannequins. You cannot find anything hotter than a bikini bar in AC now. Most of the waitresses and GRO's were just plain fat or ugly or all of the above. Centuaro has the worst GRO problem. Saw some really hideous mamasans too and cannot imagine how they attract girls (actually I choose not to imagine). Maundy Thursday looked like a Korean invasion. Good Friday had large groups of obnoxious old white guys swarm into clubs and bring a bad vibe with them.

I am lucky to have a really cute 26 yo 5 ft 0 in 40 kg local girlfriend that never worked bars, but holy week even made it difficult to pull her away from family obligations.

My advice: Stay FAR FAR AWAY from Angeles City on EASTER and the entire week before.

Not having much fun in AC, but onward to Subic Bay Barrio Baretto on Wednesday, then back to Manila where some promising new hookups await

Sorry AC has been such a dud for you, hopefully Subic will have more to offer.

I've been here since April 18th, a week in Subic and the remainder in AC. Wish I could report things have improved since Holy Week but I can't, haven't visited any bars or clubs my entire visit. Been having some fun with friends and their friends, some who are still dancers dropping in after their shifts. It's not very crowded as far as tourists and that may be due to the weather, it's as hot as I can remember, pushing 40 C on some days. Throw in 90 - 100% humidity and it's brutal. May is typically the warmest month of the year and typhoon season begins in earnest next month so mongering should improve as the crowds thin out going forward. If I manage some clubs I'll update. SCREW THE KOREANS!
