I arrived in Cartegena shortly after noon on a Tuesday. I looked for an ATM, but couldn't find one in the arrivals hall. I was told I had to walk over to departures. From there I called an Uber for a ride into the city. As we approached the city, the driver asked me to say he was a friend and not an Uber driver if asked. I think he said they weren't allowed to drop off in the city. Cost was $5 which seemed really inexpensive for the route. I gave another $4 as a tip. The weather was dry and uncomfortably hot, I was dripping with sweat by the time I got to the hostel, approximately 2pm. I showered up and was out the door by 4pm.

I took an Uber to Playa Hollywood and explored the area. I had been to Cartegena a couple times before, but this was actually my first time to look for ladies. The one time I had visited the beach before I think I was at the wrong part of the beach because I didn't see any that looked like they were working. I found them this time, though.

The first lady I met was Mar. She was cute and had a nice body, but she didn't really turn me on that much. I rented a "cabana" and bought her a couple drinks. She was friendly but seemed kind of boring. I asked about pricing anyways and she wanted 300k. I decided to pass. Cost for our drinks and the cabana came out to about 120k including a small tip. I got a couple pictures of Mar which I submitted.

It's not that I didn't like Mar, it was more that I've experience a lot of Colombians inside and outside of Colombia and knew I could easily find one more suitable to my tastes, both physically and personality-wise. You'll see what I like coming up with Anabelle and especially Tatiana.

Day 1: Part 2

I soon found the infamous Tony...or most precisely, Tony found me. If you're not a local, Tony or one of the other touts will spot you easily and quickly, and approach to offer their services. Although I knew who he was, I pretended I didn't. For some reason, I wanted to see how he would treat someone that didn't have any idea who he was. It didn't take long for him to find a lady I liked, she was on the way to the beach and arrived shortly. Annabelle from Caracas looked incredible with the kind of face and body I really liked, and she was an easy choice to make. I spent another 120k ($36) on drinks before taking Annabelle to a short term place. Cost for her was 200k ($60) plus 80k ($24) for the room. Tony ended up getting the quote for the room and I'm fairly sure he overcharged me on that. He also wanted 30k ($9) as a tip. Annabelle ended up being decent but nothing special, but for her looks alone, she was worth it.

After Anabelle, I stopped at a nearby Citibank ATM and found a place for lunch. I caught a taxi back to the hostel and took a nap before the evening adventures.

Day 1: Part 3

I started cruising the Clock Tower area around 10pm. There were a lot more working ladies than I recall in this area in the past. There were lot of mediocre ones, but a surprising number of attractive ones as well. I spotted one very skinny but gorgeous brunette I really liked, but she looked stuck up. Annabelle was around looking for customers. I said hi but we didn't talk much.

I headed into Isis around 10:30pm, no cover charge. I'm not sure if I had been in here before, but I don't think so. I bought a drink for 16k and surveyed the talent. There were about 15 ladies milling about, most at least decent looking. A couple were hot. It was hard to get really good looks, though, as it was dark. I headed out soon to do more exploring.

I walked by the Electra disco around 11pm, but it looked dead from the outside. I also walked by Dolce Vita, that appeared dead as well. I was feeling hungry, so I got some food nearby. Afterwards, I walked around the city a bit and checked to see if the dead places picked up, but they still looked empty. I made another stop in Isis and saw a couple more attractive ladies, but they weren't tempting enough to justify what I assumed would be a higher priced session. (I think I asked and had a higher cost confirmed, but I didn't write it in my notes and I'm not sure now.)

Back by the Clock Tower, I met a lively young Venezuelan named Dubraska. She was pretty and very friendly, but looked too young (barely 18) for my tastes. She was persistant, though, and would end up approaching me a few times while I was there.

I then ran across a very pretty light skinned morena from Cali named Vanessa. She seemed to have an excellent personality as well, so she was an easy choice. She quoted 300k but agreed to 200k. She took me back to a short time hotel down the street. The room was 30k. Unfortunately she wasn't up for kissing, but aside from that I had a great time with her.

By the time I finished with Vanessa it was almost 3am. There were still some attractive ladies out, but many had gotten picked up, headed into the clubs, or turned in for the night. I ended up calling it a night myself.

I've never heard of "Old Historia". I tried Googling it with Cartegena and there weren't any results. Are you sure you're thinking of a place in Cartagena? There's a Cathedral de Santa Catalina de Alejandria that's a couple blocks away from the Clock Tower, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any working ladies there.

The proper name of the Clock Tower area, by the way, seems to be Plaza de los Coches. You can look up that or Torre de Reloj (Clock Tower) for more information.

I'm not sure what percentage of the ladies are working, but I doubt it's close to 100%, it's a highly trafficked tourist area, so I was wary about accidentally approaching female tourists. The more aggressive ones are easy to spot, but others not so much. The one I went with in the upcoming chapter seemed to be available, but I wasn't sure she was working until I finally approached and we started talking.

My understanding is that you can take any of the ladies back to condos/hotels that allow guests, but some do not, so you want to research where you stay before making a reservation. If you meant if the particular ladies in that area are willing to go back to your room, I'm pretty sure they all are.

I don't have enough experience in Cartagena or the area to know what the average/typical price is, but no, not all quote 300k. The one in the upcoming chapter quoted me 200k.

Day 2

Tony texted me early in the morning with some pics of a girl. She was cute, but nothing special.

I spent most of the early part of the day just relaxing. It was super hot out, and the heat was draining. I finally worked up the energy to get out and made my way to Playa Hollywood in the late afternoon. I only spotted one hot lady, but she was with a group and didn't look like she was available. Tony found me and brought some ladies over, but I wasn't really impressed with them. Annabelle was there and she was easily the best looking. I ended up only staying about an hour. I really didn't like the beach scene that much, Tony and the other touts are a little too annoying.

I did some walking and shopping after the beach and didn't get back out until 9pm. The scene at the Clock Tower was dead. I got some food and just hung out for a while before heading over to Dolce Vita around 10pm. I didn't see anyone around so I didn't go in. I wandered around a bit more and found the skinny gorgeous brunette from the first night and followed them into Elektra. I guess many if not most of the ladies here are available, but it's not something you could easily tell if you didn't know. I saw some attractive ladies, but didn't really feel comfortable approaching any of them. The brunette was smiling with her friends and was really tempting, but I still didn't approach.

I headed into Isis around 11pm. The place was busy and had a couple hot ladies, but both were busy. One freed up, but I couldn't stop thinking about the skinny brunette. I headed back out to see if I could find her.

The brunette was back by the Clock Tower sitting with her friends. I finally decided to say hi and Tatiana turned out to be very friendly. I was smitten. She quoted 200k which was a no-brainer. We walked to the nearby short-time hotel where I had one of the best sessions of my life. This lady was one of the ones I would return to a country to visit. I would have asked for her contact info, but during our conversation she said she was getting married to a European tourist soon. I wasn't surprised. If that was something I was looking for, I'd consider her worth spending more time to get to know better.

I finished up with Tatiana and got back to the Clock Tower around 1:30am. There were some cute ladies around, but fewer than the previous night. I decided against looking for another session, I wanted to end the night on that high note and got back early. I was heading to Medellin the next day and wanted to do some tourist stuff in the morning, so the extra rest would be helpful.

I checked out the Castillo San Felipe in the morning as my flight wasn't until the afternoon. It was difficult to enjoy as the heat was very uncomfortable and walking the hills and steps made me really sweaty. I walked back to the hostel caught a taxi to the airport. I got there earlier then I needed to as there was almost no wait time for check-in and security, but at least the airport was comfortable and I was out of the extreme heat. Next stop...Medellin!

Here's a screen grab of where Dolce Vita is located. You can see the pin in the upper right just south of Isis Club on the opposite side of the street. Extasis is located at approximately the extreme upper right corner of the map, just east of the Calle de la moneda pin, but on the south side. The Clock Tower area is the lower right portion of the map between the "Bar Tu Candela" and "Eivissa Cartegena" pins.
