Not a TR, Yet!

The more I search AirBnB, VRBO, Homeaway, etc. the more & more I find statements regarding refusal of visitors/guests, either in Total, or after hours without pre-registration.
Some outright refer to NO prostitution or drugs.
I have never seen it this bad.
Note: I am referring specifically to Cartagena.
Below is a reply I received from one host.

"To give you a (Website hidden by Airbnb) general if the porteros (security guards) suspect a guest is trying to enter the building with a prostitute then they will be refused entry ... (in the past guests have arrived in early hrs with ‘friends’ scantily clad and were refused entry....there are some horror stories form Cartagena with regard to underage trafficking / people being drugged and stolen etc etc ... so the city in general is on high alert for that. And we as hosts don’t want to facilitate it, obviously.

Also there are owner occupiers in the building, it is a high end property and if they suspect anything unwelcome is going on then they could request that AirBnB be not permitted in San Diego 9174....

Understand?"

This is causing me, more than a little concern.

If I were to go again, and find out that NO Dates are permitted to enter the apartment that I paid BIG bucks to rent, I would potentially have a "melt-down".

I decided that there is no need to speculate any further.
Booked another 3 week trip for this Winter.
2 weeks Cartagena, with a week in Medellin in between. Similar to that in January 2019.

Hopefully, we will chat on my return.

Definitely write them ahead of time. There is an apartment lady by name of Gladys who I had no problem with, her apartments are in Laguito. Apartment registration needed with chicas ID but no problem. I did pay 20k to door guy to make sure of no headaches also.

They would call me when girls would arrive.

I may also be down there in Jan/Feb.

I'm not seeing a solution here. You say you're getting pushback on guests from AIRBNB pads. You'd have a meltdown if you paid that money and then brought your first chick in to find that chicks were BANNED. You'd lose it. So you decided to do...what? Just book the trip anyway and let the chips falls where they may?

I was in the same fix for my Brazil. Thank God Bwana vouched for a couple places that turned out good. Without that, it's hit or miss.

Too late for any advice at this point-in-time.
I could not get the direct reply I was looking for, so yes, Mr. Paulyvegas, "Laissez les bons temps rouler"
All is booked, and deposits paid.
The first place, the penthouse in Laquito, is the same as previous, where the security dudes needed to be paid off (only at night).
The apartment in Medellin, was never a problem.
But the last joint, another villa, in the Walled City, will be totally "hit or miss".
I will endeavor to select chicas that don't loudly look like prostitutes, or at least know to have something available to put on, and look more modest on entering "my crib".

Saw many Colombianas in Panama with the same fake boob job. They look good with the clothes on but that's it. Just too obviously fake and usually not amenable to good russian. Have enjoyed some great racks in Canada and Costa Rica lately so it's relative.

I personally know of many Canadian escorts who have gone/or are going, to Cali, Colombia for enhancements.
They love the new "gel packs" versus the old "saline bags".
Some typically include a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) and maybe a little "lypo" while there.

The proper places to get laid in while in CTG are the love hotels. Any cab will drive you to one. You just have to accept the extra expense. Local men seem to use these hotels as much as foreigners.

I have dealt with him for 12 years now.
