Sin City, Chinese-Style (Macau)

Ok, so where the hell is Macau? A lot of people simply don't know, so this report begins with a brief geography lesson. Macau lies across the Pearl River delta from Hong Kong, in southern China. Just as Hong Kong was a British colony until its handover back to China in 1997, Macau was a Portuguese colony for several hundred years until it was handed back to China in 1999. Macau is famous for being the Las Vegas of China: it has several casinos and prostitutes are everywhere. Given that the Chinese are fanatic about gambling, Macau lives off of visitors flooding in from Hong Kong (a mere hour away), and increasingly the mainland, and losing their money in the process.

That's the geography lesson. Now for the really important stuff. Pussy is everywhere. I was surprised by it's availability. My research will be broken down into three primary categories: freelancers, "girlie rooms" at the west side hotels, and the saunas. Mind you, I was only there for three nights, so I'm sure I missed some things. Consequently this is by no means a definitively comprehensive report. But I feel I did uncover a lot, pun intended!

By the way, let me insert a note about money. Macau does have its own currency, which everyone calls dollars. The Macau pataca/dollar is equivalent in value to the Hong Kong dollar, and Hong Kong dollars are accepted everywhere for everything in Macau, including the public buses and taxis. The Hong Kong dollar is pegged to the US dollar at about 7.7 to one US dollar, which will be the rate I use in the conversions below. The girls will take payment in Macau or Hong Kong dollars. Also, if you withdraw money from an ATM in Macau, they give you the option of withdrawing in either the currencies of HK or Macau.

Freelancers

I found two primary areas where the freelancers work. On my first night, I went into the Lisboa casino and walked around. The Lisboa is the largest casino in Macau. It's puny by Vegas standards, but there are still three floors and lots of smaller rooms on the sides to gamble in.

The layout of the first floor is circular in nature. A round walkway encircles the casino floor, and it is on this walkway that a number of girls go fishing for customers. You can rarely tell they are working girls by the way they dress, as the vast majority dress in regular street wear. You just watch them, and if you see them constantly walking around and approaching guys from time to time, then you know what they're up to. On the first night, I was asked by several girls if I wanted a "massage" (massage is the code word everywhere in Macau for fucking). None of them that night appealed to me, but I did ask how much and where. Some of them have rooms in the hotel, so we would have headed for the elevators. Others have rooms in nearby buildings, so it would have been a few minutes walk. The prices quoted to me were $500 for short time (about $65 US). Very few of these girls speak any English at all. Negotiations were mostly conducted by holding up fingers. Sometimes they would grab a friend to help out who could speak a little English.

All of the girls working the casino were mainland Chinese. On my second night, I went back to check out the selection and there was a hot girl wearing a black leather mini-skirt (I have a weakness for Asian girls wearing black leather mini-skirts). On the first pass she asked for $1500, and I said I would only pay $500. On the next pass she lowered the demand to $1000, but that was still way too much. I couldn't get her down to $500, so I gave up on her. I had seen a couple of other decent looking girls that night, but when I went looking again after giving up on the skirt, they were gone (I'm assuming they found customers and went to their rooms).

So I left the casino and decided to head over to the Windsor Sauna (more on that later). There is a pedestrian mall that runs for several blocks, parallel between Avenida de Amizade and Rua de Pequim. I discovered that this area has a number of freelancers, all mainland Chinese. On the streets outside the Lisboa, and towards the pedestrian mall area, you can find a lot of Russian girls if that's your thing. The Russian girls also work in the Crazy Paris show at the Lisboa, and you'll see them inside the hotel area, though not the casino.

Anyway, I was just heading into the pedestrian mall when a group of ladies handing out flyers advertising phone numbers for escort services accosted me. The hotel I stayed at was the East Asia Hotel. Coincidentally, this hotel had a very large girlie room with a large selection. My first night in Macau, I visited this room after returning from the Lisboa and talked to a few girls. When I asked what the price was, one girl, without thinking, immediately said $200, and was immediately shouted down by several friends who chanted $300 ($39 US). The girl immediately corrected herself to $300. None that night appealed to me, so I didn't take anyone, but at least I gathered some important information.

The next afternoon I was walking by the Pensao Ruby (Hotel Ruby), which is only about 200 feet away from the East Asia, when I decided to see if they had any girls. Sure enough there were five sitting in the lobby. In fact, I think this place is strictly a brothel, dressed up as a hotel. The girls here were asking for $300 as well. They were all keenly interested in going with me. They surrounded me and were all fondling me in an attempt to be the chosen one. I must say it was certainly a pleasant experience. I think what had happened is that after that one girl established her price, and refused to budge, none of the other girls wanted to cause a face-losing situation by taking me for a lower price. Thus they all held firm.

The guy from Hong Kong walked with me over to the Forsun Pensao (Hotel) which is also quite close to the East Asia, and we chatted a bit about the scene and prices. He was primarily there to gamble, but was taking a bit of break to see if there was anyone he wanted to get laid with. The lobby of the Forsun was packed with women. There were probably 25 girls sitting around.

I scanned the crowd and then saw a very attractive woman sitting in the corner, obscured by some others. She wanted $400, I said $300. The HK guy tried to negotiate on my behalf, but she wasn't budging. He left to go gamble some more, but I didn't give up. I only had $350 on me, and said take it or leave it. Yan Fang was 21, from Hulan (don't know where that is in China) and was the best-looking girl I had in Macau. I was not disappointed. The streak continued: great session, great attitude, GFE. The Sauna scene

Although I only took one girl from the sauna scene, I think this is where the biggest action is in Macau, if only judging by the number of girls available. Unfortunately this is also the most expensive action in Macau. All of the saunas that I investigated are part of the bigger, nicer hotels, and were all pretty upscale-looking operations. I'm pretty sure this is why they were so much more expensive.

Playmates Club, Hotel Guia: This club is a combo club, as an employee who spoke good English explained to me. They open at 4 pm, and the cover is $115. They are part strip joint, like you would find here in the states, and part sauna. The cover charge allows you to watch the strippers. There is a separate Thai-style pussy tricks show that costs an additional $268. You can also watch a full-sex show for $388. For this you also gain admission to the pussy tricks show. 2 hours of sex with a girl will set you back $1400. They have Russian and Chinese girls. Located at Calcada da Vitoria, No. 151.

Royal Sauna, Royal Hotel: The Royal is located just down the hill/street from the Playmates. This was a very nice looking sauna, and they are open 24 hours. They had a varied price menu with a number of different options and times (60 or 90 minutes). Prices ranged from $510 to $1888. They let me look at their book of girls (most of these places have photo books with pictures of the employees), which was fairly thick. They had tons of Chinese and a smaller group of Russians. Located on the Calcada do Gaio (the address on the business card was in Chinese). The sauna is in the basement.

Emperor Sauna, Emperor Hotel: This was a very ritzy looking joint. The Emperor is also open 24 hours. Rates are in the $1100-1200 range for 60 minutes. They have 100 girls on staff. They also let me look at the books. I saw some beautiful pictures in the two books I flipped through. They also had the requisite number of Russians in addition to the large number of Chinese. I think they also had some SE Asian girls working there. The Emperor Hotel is quite large, and is located on the Rua De Xangai, close to the pedestrian mall area where the freelancers work. The sauna is on the 2nd floor.

Sauna Fuji, Lisboa Hotel: On the ground floor of the hotel, the entrance to the sauna faces the east street, towards the pedestrian mall area where the freelancers work. The Fuji is open from 2 pm to 3 am. The prices are in the $1200-1400 range for 60-90 minute sessions. This place had only Thai and Vietnamese girls, in the bubble-style, so you could look at them in the lounge like you do in Thailand. There was a stunning Thai girl and some other cuties when I was there, but the prices were out of my league. The Lisboa is one of the most prominent landmarks in Macau. Just about every bus goes by it, and every taxi driver knows it.

Windsor Sauna, Hotel Presidente: The Windsor is open from 12 pm to 7 am, and is located in the basement of the hotel. The director here is Randy Tse, and he speaks very good English. They had some of the most reasonable prices of any of the saunas I visited, from the $594 to the $890 range. The $594 girls were from Macau, and they picked the girl for you. All the other prices were mainland Chinese and Russian girls, and you picked. He offered me a special: $590 and I could pick my girl. I thumbed through the books, full of pictures of girls in bikinis or their birthday suits. There was a petite Chinese girl who I seriously wanted, but he told me she is so small she wouldn't go with non-Asians (that size thing again). So I picked another.

To my surprise, he gave me a key to a room upstairs in the hotel proper, and told me the girl would meet me there. I guess at this price we don't go back into the sauna area. Just as I got to the room, a maid showed up with a bottle of water for me and a thermos of tea for the girl. The girl showed up not two minutes later. She wasn't as good looking as she was in the photo, but still quite acceptable. Ying was 22 and from Guangzhou. I was delighted that she also had a very good attitude and we had a nice session together, that lasted just short of an hour (Randy told me that sessions were from 45 minutes to an hour, but not over an hour). I left the hotel quite pleased with the experience. The Presidente is located at 355 Avenida Da Amizade.

Other hotels: I simply didn't have time to walk into every major hotel in order to check out the sauna situation, but it appeared that every single one had a sauna, as they all have signs posted outside with pictures of scantily clad females on them. Even the Holiday Inn had one. Not sure about the Mandarin Oriental, as I didn't get over to it. I have also heard that there are a couple of Bangkok-style soapies in Macau, where you walk in to view a large number of girls in a fishbowl. The Fuji came closest to this setup, but it was small. I think there is quite a large one in the Jai-Alai casino called Darlings. Maybe someone else can confirm this on another trip.

Summary

I had a blast in Macau. I took six girls, all of whom had tight pussies, which was just amazing to me. Logistics

It's quite easy to get to Macau. Boats run from two terminals in Hong Kong. High speed catamarans run from the China Ferry Terminal in Kowloon, on Canton Road. Cats and jetfoils run out of the ferry terminal over on Hong Kong island. The trip takes between an hour and 75 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. There is a departure every 30 minutes. Don't forget your passport, as you do go through immigration in all the ferry terminals. If you're ultra-wealthy, there is regular helicopter service between the terminal on HK island and Macau, for about a $1000 US a pop. I think it takes about 15 minutes. Be advised it is not a good idea to visit on a Friday or Saturday, as the weekend crowd from HK floods in and the hotels jack up their prices. Visit Sunday through Thursday when the prices and crowds are normal.

On the ground floor of the ferry terminal is a visitors information office stocked with tons of maps and brochures. Be sure to grab a map here, and ask the clerk for the budget accommodation brochure. It lists all the cheap places to stay on the west side. I stayed at the East Asia Hotel for about $30 US a night. It was very clean, modern and quiet, with a nice, big bathroom.

Food in Macau is dirt cheap, as are the buses and taxis. Taxi rides were costing about 14-16 local dollars, about $2 US. You can fuck 24 hours a day in Macau in the saunas. The girls in the west side hotels start appearing about 1 pm. The freelancers come out in the early evening. There is a lot of sightseeing in Macau as well, so there is plenty to keep you occupied when you're not banging away. And of course you can gamble. You can also walk into China across the border on a special one day visa you get at the gate. It's good only for Zhu Hai city, which is next to Macau. I hear there is a lot of pussy there as well. I need to go back and find out!

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the Lisboa to the west side hotels. But you could also take the bus or taxi, as both are dirt cheap. Macau is totally safe. I never once felt threatened or even viewed anything that looked remotely dangerous, and I was out walking late several nights.

I want to visit Shanghai as well, in addition to several other Chinese cities. Just need to get a job first before I can take any more trips....

I enjoyed Macau too, was in there back around when 9/11 2001happened, and again last year around June. Checked out most of the spots mentioned. Might post a report.

Just curious, but did you hear much portugese spoken or was it mostly chinese? I have heard from a few girls in Rio that they have spent time in Macau but didn't like it. Again, just curious, but did you see or hear about any Brazillian girls there?

You hear very little Portugese spoken in Macau. The community that remains is very small. Cantonese by far and away is the predominant language, although all street signs, government literature, and so on is in both Chinese and Portugese (and English as well).

I also noticed quite a few "halfs" in Macau speaking Cantonese, as there has been intermarriage between the communities. Ironically enough, given the vast amount of available, cheap labor just across the border, there are lots of Filipino workers in Macau. You see them primarily in restaurants, working as security guards, etc.

Didn't see a hint of Brazilians. Lots of Russians, but no Brazilians. Maybe they come and go in phases, or maybe it's not easy for them to visit anymore after the handover to China.

The freelancers at the Lisboa will rent a room there (4-5 share the cost) and they just rotate in and out.

I bought a round trip ticket for $237 HK, which comes out to about 30 bucks U.S. All of the boats are pretty much brand-spanking new catamarans. The two I rode were pristine, having just been delivered last year from the manufacturer. The ride is totally safe.

Regarding typhoons, I'm sure they have stages, like anywhere else, when they would cancel the trip until the storm blew over. But there's only a couple of typhoons a year that get close, so that shouldn't be much of a worry.

Hey Murasaki and Dongringo. Prices in Mongkok are about 340hkd for mainland Chinese girl and 260hkd for Thai or Filipina. They'll vary 10-20 hkd from shop to shop. There are some Russian girls around either freelancing or in the shops for 600hkd. Mongkok a is pretty damn big area and the girls quality are mixed. There are a few good ones though.
