My mission: discover mongering in El Salvador and maximize scoring all in a 24 hr window. Armed with only the above posting I set out to do just that. For years I've travelled Central America and made stopovers to change planes in San Salvador but never actually left the airport. This time taking advantage of yet another semi-business trip to the region I purposely scheduled in one day of stopover so I can enter the capital city to check it out.

Most cities in the world have airport on the outskirt of town. Here the airport is pretty much in another city altogether. It took a 30+ min cab ride ($18) to go from the airport to downtown San Salvador. I think the normal fare is $20 but thanks to competition I was offered a small discount. It might sound high at first but considering the distance it's probably fair. By the way, ES (El Salvador) is now the second central american country (the first was Panama) to use US dollar as national currency which makes it very nice and convenient for us american tourists.

My plan at first was to stay at Las Palmas mentioned in previous trip reports. Supposedly it is near the track for SW (street walkers) which usually means a "lively" part of town. Turned out the cab driver never even heard of the hotel which was strange. He consulted his colleagues and others on street without success. Since there exists a colonia (neighborhood) of the same name, we decide to take a chance and go there. By pure luck, we eventually found the hotel. The reason not so many people heard of it is because it is new and in a relatively obscure and isolated part of town. The area looks "dead" and rather far away from main throughfares where one can easily hail a cab.

Time for plan B. I then asked the cab driver to recommend something cheap and by Boulevard de Los Heroes (BLH from now on), also mentioned above. He drove me to Hotel Grecia Real. It turned out to be the "perfect" place for me. It is just off the corner of BLH and Sisimiles. Several blocks along BLH from this corner northward, I could see some SWs. BLH is a main throughfare here which means easy walking distance to most shops and eateries not to mention plenty of cabs. The cab driver was nice enough to wait outside and let me go inside to check out the hotel first. Everything looked great inside I was so happy with the recommendation I gave the cabbie $20 and told him to keep the change!

I can't recommend Hotel Grecia Real highly enough! It is a small inn and maybe roughly only 3-star in the US but for a Third world country that is very nice. My room was rather small but very clean and adequately appointed on the second floor. The only drawback was there was no elevator so I had to drag my suitcase down the stair when I left the next day. Coming, there was a bell boy to haul my suitcase up the stair for me. Poor guy! And the price you ask, it is the cheapest room in the place and is listed at $34/night. Maybe it's because of the "slow" season, I was offered a discount and paid only $30. Damn, how can you beat that? I usually paid as much for the Cascada in TJ and there was no comparison.

I left the airport around 6pm and now it's now close to 8pm. After getting situated in the hotel, I ate and showered and now was ready for action. I started by walking along BLH. There was about a dozen SWs spread out in the vincinity of the hotel. Here the setup apparently is similar to the american SW scene. That is car dating I guess because there's no short-time hotels in the area. I asked a girl a couple of blocks from my hotel if she'd come with me to my room. She seemed reluctant to say yes and asked for $30. She was only slightly above average in look and apparently not too terribly enthused about it. I don't know if it's because I'm a foreigner or they only expect car date or both. Anyway the vibe wasn't right and I walked. I got a little discouraged at the miss and decide proceed with the plan to visit Lips, highly recommended in the posts above.

Lipps is about 15 min. cab drive away on Paseo General Escalon. No problem with direction here. Every cab drivers know about Lips. On the outside it doesn't look too big or gaudy. Inside though it is quite large and deep. Cover was $3.

I have one word for Lips: FANTASTIC. No wait try UNREAL. Wait...

Now I consider myself a SC (Strip Club) connoiseur in the US and I think I've seen the best the US has to offer because I live close to SF (probably the SC capital of the USA) and I arrived at the conclusion that this place puts any american SC to SHAME. If you're a SC connoiseur you have to see Lips at least once in your lifetime! It has two large stages where up to four (4) girls dance at a time. It also has a couple of small stages complete with working showers for "shower" dance. Just like in the US lap dances are available. But there's no comparison between lap dances of both country. At the sleaziest and nastiest clubs in the US, the most one can expect is a topless dancer grinding on his lap for a song (less than 5 min) for $20 or so. Here it's $12 and for 3 songs. The songs here are full not the shortened-up kind frequently and despically done by american DJs. The girls actually get totally naked and there's no limit, I repeat NO LIMIT as to how much you can grope. I practically engaged in full-fledged foreplay during my lap dances. I have mongered extensively in El Salvador and I find that San Salvador is more costly than Costa Rica. Get out into the outlying cities, like Santa Ana, or Chalchuapa, and find the bargain clubs. I found a great place just outside of Chalchuapa where a cold beer, hot chica, and room totaled US$3.75. Larger deparments like Santa Ana have great places for the US$12.00 to $15.00 range.

Prostitution in El Salvador is not legal, unlike Costa Rica, and you always have to be careful with the cleanliness of the girls.

I was in el Salvador for a couple of days and Visited Lips. It is all you say it is Merenpapi! Beautifuk girls and great attitude $12.00 for 3 songs and if the girl likes you and you guys don't sit down, you get some grinding and touching before anything is charged.
I also visited a place called Esthetica Laura. It is just off Boulevard de los Heroes. Odd operating hours (M-Sat from 9-7) Mostli girls in their early 20's. for $45 i had a threesome with a 19 and a 21 year old. A beer for me and a soda for each of the girls. No DFK and no dining at the Y. But other than that the girls were accomodating. Cannot recommend highly enough. One more thing they do have a $13 cover which is deducted from the cost of the session.

Leaving Lipps around midnight I'm now more than ready and primed for real action. Hailed a cab outside and made small talk with cabby about local actions. It's no surprise as a night cabby he knows everything so he recommended a "casa de modelo", supposedly a brothel. He said there's a good one only a few blocks away. Why not and off we went.

On the outside it looked like a large two-story house. It has high solid metal gate guarded by a private security guard. Entrance fee was $7. My cabby was willing to wait outside until I'm finished. Upon entering the living room I was greeted by a very nice looking young girl. She called a line up and out they came, from the back and from upstair. There were roughly 7 to 8 girls in all. I'd say 4 was average-looking to slightly above. The rest ranged from good-looking to near-model. After some thinking, it turned out the original girl who greeted me at the door caught my attention the best. So off we went upstair. Outside the bedrooms upstair there was a small sofa and coffee table. On the table there was the menus and she gave the one to look over. I'm not kidding! I also would like to add that the next morning before I had to go to the airport I went to another brothel within 15 min. walk of my hotel. It's also off Blvd de Los Heroes. On my stroll to find a lunch spot, I just happened to see a flyer taped to a tree on the sidewalk advertising a bar saying there's beautiful girls and so on (hints of P4P action). Since it says that it opens from 10 a.m I thought it's closed by so why not find out.

Turned out as I suspected, a "neighborhood" brothel. It certainly was a couple of rungs below Fashion Model mentioned above and costed $5 to get in. I was let in by a papasan/doorman/bartender, a fellow in his late 20s. I got a free beer and there's a makeshift stage and only about 3 girls or so hanging around being bored to death. So bored that even though I was the only customer in the joint they barely noticed me. To make a story short I picked the best of the 3 and paid $25 or $30 (can't remember) for short-time. There were a couple of bedrooms upstair and they were really spartan. The girl was only average looking and the experience only so so. I didn't think this experience was anything to write home about so I skipped it in the original report. Don't even ask about the name of this place ;-)
