I certainly wish the internet had existed in its present form back in early 1994 when I made my first trip to Singapore. If it had, I might have enjoyed the place far more than I did. Had I known that pussy was so easy to get thereS. Anyway, second timeıs the charm. I would like to thank Bingo for his report on Singapore from September of 2002, which I relied on extensively for my trip in early January of 2003.

After finishing up in Penang, Malaysia (see separate trip report), I spent a few days in Kuala Lumpur before journeying down to Singapore by train. Traveling by train in Malaysia wasnıt like Japan or Europe; it was quite uncomfortable, and I wish that I had flown a mere 30 minutes into the journey. Lesson learned. Per Bingoıs report, I made reservations at the Hotel 81 Princess on lorong 12, Geylang Road. The weeknight rates I got were $59 a night, in Singapore dollars. The rate was about 1.74 to the dollar when I was there, making it about $34 US dollars a night. Rates go up for Friday/Saturday night stays.

Singapore has several red-light areas, including Petain Road, Desker Road, Chinatown, not to mention the health clubs and freelancers in the discos. The biggest of them all is Geylang Road, where the Hotel 81 chain has a large number of places to stay. The Geylang area is a mixture of large hotels that cater to both overnight and hourly guests (the hourly guests are not all mongerers and their girls; many are also local couples who live with their parents and donıt get any privacy at home, thus they need a place to go have sex in peace. This scene is very similar to that in Japan with the love hotels there), small hotels that are strictly for the hourly trade, and brothels. And let me tell you, there are a lot of brothels in this area.

The street scene during my visit was a bit different from when Bingo visited, so Iıll lay out what I found. The Geylang red light district is roughly sandwiched by Geylang and Guillemard Roads, and by lorongs 4 and 22. The four streets create a rectangle. I read in a book in a Singapore bookshop that there are also a lot of brothels on lorong 24, but I didnıt get a chance to hoof it over that far.

I didnıt walk down lorongs 4 and 6. Lorong 8 has a few brothels. Lorongs 10, 12, and 14 are primarily hotel streets. Lorongs 16, 18 and 20 are bursting at the seams with brothels. There must be well over a hundred in the area of those three streets. Almost all the girls working in the brothels are Thai, with some having Indonesians.

Freelancers from mainland China can be found on lorongs 8, 10 and 12, on Talma Road, which is a minor street that connects between lorong 8 and 14 (my hotel sat at the intersection of Talma Road and lorong 12), and all along the alley that runs parallel to Geylang Road from lorong 8 all the way down to 22. Indonesians can be found on lorong 12, at the intersection of lorong 14 and Geylang Road, and in the alley as well. The Thaiıs were strictly inside the brothels. There was no sign of Indians or Sri Lankans anywhere, which was a disappointment to me, as I wanted to taste some new nationalities. I talked a while with a local on the sidewalk who was also hunting for a girl, and he said theyıre not in the Geylang area anymore.

On my first night of research, I talked to two Indonesians who were demanding 100 Singapore dollars for short time. Quotes from pimps in the alley varied from 100 to even 150. The local I spoke with said they paid 50 for Thai and Indonesian girls, and 100 for the mainland Chinese girls, and his buddy concurred. He also said that the Chinese girls working in Singapore were notorious for being terrible in bed, but all the guys liked looking at them, so the girls still got a lot of good business.

Given the size of the Geylang scene, there is something that is severely lacking, and that is quality. I probably checked out 8 brothels or so, and was severely disappointed with the Thai girls. The vast majority were second-stringers who I wouldnıt give a second look at in Bangkok. The mainland Chinese working the streets were not pleasant on the eye either, a far cry from their sisters working in Macau. The saving grace were the Indonesians. There were several hotties from that country, though they also presented their fair share of the darker side of quality in the alleys. My caveat is that the quality situation could change in a heartbeat, given that the average stay of these girls is a couple of weeks. There seems to be a huge turnover, so that girls donıt overstay their visas. For example, whenever a police car came by, all the Chinese girls would disappear, as my local informant told me that they were all illegal. Theyıre not always successful, though, as many get picked up and get deported. This means fresh girls are constantly needed to replace them.

My first foray into the scene was a brothel on lorong 8. I had checked it out earlier that day when I was returning from a day of sightseeing. They had a new girl from Thailand who looked pretty good in the little fishbowl, so I decided to return later that night for her. The papasan told me they charge a flat $80 to all customers for 30 minutes. When I returned, I forked over my $80 (about $46 US) and took Gia, a 21 year old from Bangkok. She had a nice face, but I discovered she was a little wider than I normally like down in the hips. Oh well, the money had already been paid, and I hadnıt been laid in about six days so I was very horny.

After finishing an ordinary, ok session, Gia wanted me to stay every possible minute I could, as she enjoyed my company (she liked the fact I knew so much about Thailand) and wanted to postpone being available for another customer immediately. I asked her why she worked here instead of Bangkok, and she said that although she makes about the same amount of money, she is able to save a lot more of it in Singapore. She explained in Bangkok that money just flies out of her hands, with going to discos with her friends, and so on. In Singapore she has no social life, thus sheıs socking the moolah away.

About 30 minutes after leaving Gia, I was over on lorong 18 checking out the brothels (all the quotes were for $80) when I saw another girl who I took. I was having terrible luck that day with Thai girls sitting down in fishbowls, as she was similar to Gia. Nice face but a little too big in the waist. Damn. At least she wasnıt totally undoable. Her name was Thia, and she was also 21 from Bangkok. She was also the 99th girl Iıve fucked.

After leaving her, I was walking back to my hotel thinking about how unhappy I was with the quality, and what would I do about #100. I wanted 100 to be hot, not some so-so, do-in-a-pinch type, and up to that point I had not seen any hot girls. As I was mulling these thoughts over, I turned the corner out of the alley onto lorong 14 and HELLO, what do I see but a slinky girl wearing a very tight, very short mini-skirt just waiting for me. She had a Murasaki body. And she was on to me like a bee on honey. She was standing in front of a short timer hotel that was about four stories tall. If you stand at Geylang Road and look down lorong 14, this hotel is on the left immediately after the hawker food center that occupies the corner of Geylang and lorong 14.

She threw her arms around my neck, pushed her body into mine and began the sales process. $80 and she was mine (70 to the pimp and 10 for the short time room). The little soldier downstairs was already giving a full salute to this one, and my defenses ran towards the enemy line. I was hers. Her name was Nita. She was 18, from Jakarta. Not only would #100 be a hottie, she would also be my first Indonesian. She led me inside the short time hotel, where I paid the hotel and the pimp. It was quite pleasant watching her undress. We had a good session and she let me take some photos.

The photos linked below are from this session and the following night. I wound up taking her three nights in a row. Her pimpıs name was Steven, and I donıt know if this is the same one that Bingo talked about in his report. Steven had a small stable of hot Indonesians. There were at least two or three other girls I would have done in a heartbeat, but Nita had the monopoly on me. Their territory was the front of the short timer hotel I described above. All of his girls take their customers inside. Steven and his girls seemed to rest, eat and hang out between customers at the hawker food center directly next door.

Nita was very affectionate with me and always wanted me to hang out after each session. She would take me over to the hawker center to sit a bit with her. Unfortunately, these photographs did not turn out very well. The biggest problem is that Nita seemed to have some genetic inability to smile for a camera. She would be laughing up a storm, but as soon as I took a shot, a big frown would appear on the face. I couldnıt figure it out. No matter what we tried, I could not capture a smile! It was so frustrating. Consequently, these photos do no justice to just how attractive she really was. She actually had a beautiful face, but in these photos it doesnıt look so good. Another problem was the same one we run into in Thailand all the time, with hot babes who just donıt photograph well. That seemed to be the case here as well. Anyway, here they are:

As a final note, I wanted to mention that although the Hotel 81 itself was quite nice, one doesnıt need to stay in a hotel in the Geylang area. None of my five sessions took place in my room. I could have stayed anywhere and just traveled to Geylang via the MRT system, as there are two stations within walking distance. If I return to Singapore again I will do this, as the Geylang neighborhood wasnıt set up to handle travelers. There were no internet cafes (I had to go downtown to find one), no restaurants (the only places to eat were hawker food centers which had exclusively Chinese food), no laundry places, and so on. I found this to be pretty damn inconvenient.

I would have loved to look Apple up again, but there was a 2 year gap before my next trip to Bangkok. I also still don't know which MP it was. Now I know BKK extremely well. But my visit with Apple took place on my very first night in Bangers, and it was the one and only time I ever let a tuk-tuk driver take me anywhere.

It was from Sukhumvit Road, and he tore off to god knows where. I still remember what the outside and the inside fishbowl area looked like, so if I ever come across it again, I'll at least know the name. I know it wasn't one of the New Petchaburi parlors between Cupidy's and Mona Lisa. I suspect it was either one further down Petchaburi Road, or it was up in the Ratchadaphisek area. I still haven't ventured to either of those locations but imagine I'll get there someday.

Just wait until you see all the photos I took of her. I basically have a photo essay of the entire MP experience, starring #35 at CP2. She usually starts work at 1 or so, sometimes earlier. If you get there in the afternoon, it should be much easier to catch her than the evening.

After your first session, get her cell number so that you can call ahead and make sure she's there before you venture out. I also suggest that if she's not in the bowl, go to one of the mamasans (not the papasans) and ask for her . They'll check whether she has showed up for work, or if she's with another customer. They'll tell you how long it will be before she comes down. Then you can do the math on whether you'll wait or not, or if you want to take another girl. I once waited an hour for her. You're right the Hotels in Geylang aren't really set up for the typical traveller, but that trip was primarily for checking out the Geylang scene and I didn't want to have to make commutes to it all the time. From the way you described Stephen it would seem we are speaking about the same guy. He's girls seemed to be quite busy compared to the others so I imagine he's living quite well.
