60,000 frequent flyer miles and a couple of sleeping pills got me to BA from the west coast this time in better shape than I expected, so after a couple of hours of midafternoon nap, I was ready to monger. Calling number after number on the printouts I had made from the Platynum website was getting me no live bodies on the other end, but finally I reached a real person. It wasn´t the girl I´d called, but rather a madam who invited me over to view her stable. If it were other than Platynum I had called, I would have passed but I figured Í might give it a shot (pun intended). Í didn´t take my camera because I didn´t have particularly high hopes.

The clincher was that the address was a block and a half from Design Suites. The exact address for those of you planning a future trip is 1707 Santa Fe, 3rd Floor. Land line phone is 4816-1490 or 4816-8926. Cell number from within BA is 15-4028-'7804. Santa Fe is a busy commercial street, and the 1707 is just a glass door to an interior lobby. Streetside there´s a doorbell buzzer for the 3d floor. If you have a male voice, my sense is that you too will be buzzed in.

Upstairs the drill is pretty much as in other houses in Buenos Aires. You will be seated and one by one the girls will parade in, dressed in panties and a bra. You have maybe 30 seconds with each, just enough time to check them out, ask their names and ages. The place is clean, but not big on the decor.

There were maybe 6 girls who were shown to me. There was one 6.5, one 9 and four 8´s. Terrific selection. I got a big surprise when the fourth girl I was shown turned out to be none other than Diosa who I had f´d, photographed and video´d on my last trip a month or so ago. However given some of the unbelievable prices I´ve been reading on the board that other mongers pay...for no good reason IMHO...I don´t feel upset at the price.

And...I still have my eye on the 9. She´s a little morocha, slim and curvy, 21 years old. Mamasan says they open again at 10 on Monday...hope to get photos next time.

On a subsequent visit....I went to the mentioned place above with SFHombre. It was really cool. The selection was ok on the day I went with him but maybe not as good as when he went alone. Still several doable girls.

I picked a pretty brunette that I seemed to click with from the start. I informed the madam that I didn't want to sleep with the girl there and asked if I could bring her to my apartment. After some initial hesitation the madam agrees. Get this. Same price as earlier. 100 pesos for an hour. Plus taxi fare both ways.

I found in the local Yahoo discussion groups that local guys usually look at the Internet girls and then review the Clasificados section of Clarin, code 59 (http://www.clarin.com) to see if a phone number matches.

Usually, many numbers from the ads match those of the Clarin girls, and if you tell them that you call based on the newspaper ad instead of on the Internet ad, you can get as much as half price. Perhaps ar$100 to ar$60 don't make much difference, but it's worth the try.

SFHombre, having seen you in action in Rio a few times now I have grown to respect your choice of women and judgement. You and UWphotos love of BA has just about got me convinced to take a trip. (Godfather--you could easily be included in this group but we just havnet hung out as much *yet*). I'm sure we'll spend more time together in Rio. I plan to be there ALOT more this year. I plan on somehow moving to Buenos Aires in two years so I think I'll be going to Rio several times.

Definitely give Buenos Aires a try. Totally different scene. It's not as easy as Rio but you'd definitely have no problems. The chicas there are more sophisticated/refined. A different kind of fun. If BA had termas it would be 10000 X better.

This is Craig, one of the newbies that you met in BA in October. Thanks for showing me and mi hermano around. I am planning a trip to BA/Bogota/Cartagena/Cali/Rio/Sao Paolo trip for March. Are you/Ezy or any other mongers going to these destinations in March? I know BA is safe, but I have read that Colombia can be rewarding but dangerous. The Columbian Peso is down, the Argintinean peso is relatively up. Seems like a good time for a little/lot of Colombian action!Any reccomendations from you or any others? By the way, Clarin girls aren't all bad are they?

I suggest you leave a LOT of time for Rio. You'll be sorry if you don't. You might want to get in contact with the local guides, Don or Rich from the board there, who can set you up with an apartment and entertainment beyond your dreams. While you can do fine without them, they truly enhance the experience.
