Fun in Tokyo

I have been travelling to Tokyo for almost 4 years now and have had a number encounters with the lovely species of geisha. After my first few trips I was somewhat acclimatised and no longer put me neck out every time I walked down the street. I mean the view of the local ladies in Tokyo has to be one of the best in Asia. It gets colder and the skirts get shorter and the boots go higher. I have seen many skirts that you can be assured the wearer must have had to shave that morning to put it on. Anyway to the point. I normally stay away from the hostess bars and such as after spending lots of time in the Philippines and Thailand I find it just to dammed expensive in Tokyo. I find most of my luck with local non working girls. Head to shibuya for the night clubs like Gaspanic if you are looking for some young college age girls looking to party. If you are late twenties early thirties and presentable you will do well. Just be nice, polite and it always pays to know some Japanese. Kawiee = cute, etc. The best place I have found is the cliché called Ropponghi. This area is well know as a gaijin (foreigner) hangout. It has been that way since the occupation forces of the 40’s and 50’s. Here is where you can find the nite clubs that are full of local Japanese girls. Because it is a well known foreigner place the girls go there when they want to meet foreigners. Once again you are dealing with normal girls not working girls so be pushy. But keep your spirits up, next to the Thais the Japanese are the most sexually liberated race I have seen. Normally you find the girls in groups so just go up start talking to them and take your time. They are normally very friendly and if you are not to pushy you can normally do quite well. I haven’t always scored first go but I nearly always get a phone number and arrange to meet later in the trip or next trip. After dinner and some drinks about 90% of the time on the second date it all comes together.
Just on the drinking, most Japanese girls cannot handle a lot of drinks and get drunk very quickly. They have no problems with this and can be a lot of fun, just keep it in mind not to get them to drink to much as it can get messy.

Just a note get in early and make your move before 12 midnight. As the trains stop running at about 12.30 if the girls haven’t found someone to stay out with all night they will grab the last train.

The places to go while in ropponghi,

Mowtown 1 and 2, two great bars that get very crowded from about 10.30pm.
If you are there really late the foreign hostesses start arriving after they finish their shift at the clubs. Most are eastern block and I have had very limited success there.

Wall street livens up after about 11pm

BACs café, great restaurant where the waitresses where outfits like race grid girls. Very very short skirts, great for a view and alright food. Not much action here though, just look don’t touch. A good primer for the start of the night

Mugambo’s very small bar just of the main drag. Owned by the the same guy as the bar with the same name in Makati manila. Good starter with half priced drinks until 8pm and good spot to finish when you have already found you companion for the night.

Also check out geronimoes which is pretty much the same as Mugambo’s
Although this place really livens up after 12am as the crowd settles in and waits and drinks until the trains start again in the morning.

Salsa sudana, If you dance even a little bit of latin you have got it made here. The Japanese love latin music (or at least the girls do) however most seem to have no sense of rhythm. The guys don’t bother trying so if you do the girls just love it here. Turn up buy them a few drinks dance with them for a while and watch them just melt in your arms.

Velfarre, I think that is how it is spelt. This is the glamour set dance club. Young hip happening and so very hot young things love to dance under the strobes to mind numbing dance music. If you can look respectable and can handle the music a good place to pick up some local glamour girls.

Anyway this is enough rambling, I will revisit again and post some more detailed information on exploits in Tokyo.

I have often said that the most beautiful women I've ever seen are in Bangkok and Tokyo. I think the Japanese are more sexually liberated than the Thais are, as they are pretty much guilt free and they don't suffer the shame that still exists in Thai culture.

Just as an aside, I can pretty much guarantee that nobody on this board will ever wind up in bed with a real geisha.

Nice post Wilro. Ahh.. Japan. I use to go there for 3 consecutive yrs. I don't anymore cuz it's so bloody expensive and I've found cheaper alternatives in Thailand etc etc. Plus the fact that a Japanese girl ripped my heart out(I think I ripped her heart out too tho).

Anyway I use to go to many of the places you mentioned. Danced at velfarre etc.

i realise a real geisha is out of the question.
I was just using the term to distinguish the japanese from the other asian beauties.

Velfarre is quite interesting. I guess it's famous for having the largest disco ball in the world....

Fun to read these posts, as I've only been to Japan in '04, but I'm returning for 2 nights after a PI trip....ah, the memories....and the mammaries!

I vaguely recall other foreigner-friendly clubs in Roppongi...Lexington Queens, and other places where the shot girls were really crazy!
