My friend and I spend a fruitful time in both Bangkok and Pattaya. After 22 hours in the air, we landed in Bangkok and we were ready to head to the hotel and then to Patpong.
We stayed at the Crowne Plaza on Silom Rd. As I am a former Holiday Inn employee, we were lucky to receive an employee rate at this very nice property (app. $32 per nite) Although, they do charge for taking up a girl after 10pm about $20 each girl; which was my only complaint. Besides that, service was impeccable; even up to remembering both of our names.
I should mention that I contacted about 6-7 girls via the internet before arriving in Bangkok telling them that my intention was to bring back a wife after visiting. So needless to say, I had plenty of responses. Anyways, after we got to the hotel, I put in a call to the women. I received about 3 replies and set up dates the next days during the daytime. (We didn't want them hanging around at nite!)
After my phone calls, we were dumb enough to let a tut tut driver take us to somewhere called "Pat Pong 2" after we got our clothes changed, etc. (It was about 10pm) This was a very nasty looking place, and wasn't at all like we expected. We didnt know at that point that the real Patpong was only 2 miles down Silom Road.
Anyways, we went to a MP here and spent about 1300 bhat each for a girl...It was around 12 by this time. We chose, and they were in a hurry. Service by the women was good, but not spectacular.
After that, we ended up in a local Thai bar, and befriended about 10-15 locals who ended up buying us about 10 drinks! We felt bad drinking on their dime, so we left after an hour to the hotel.
The next few days I met up w/ a few of the women from online. It worked out with one who came back to my room after having dinner for a few hours. She was great in bed. She also was not a pro, or even semi-pro. She has a great job (drove a BMW) , and a couple of maids at her house.
The other two women I met online, looked a little different than their pics, so I got rid of them as quickly as possible.
After going to a discoteque in Patpong, I met a semi-pro that asked if I would go to the hotel with her after the bar was over. I agreed assuming she would charge me, but nothing was said of that. I ended up with a free one from her at one of the short time hotels across the street. It was great. Also met a semipro at the same bar the next nite, and she asked for 300 bhat as we were going to the hotel, which I gladly paid.
We visited one more MP in Patpong...Very close to the main shopping area...It was good, cheaper (about 1000 bhat) and the girls were young. This one didnt even care if I did her bareback. I declined, but was very suprised.
Anyways, on to Pattaya. We went to Pattaya on a bus from the Bangkok station that you may reach with the skytrain. The ticket was about $5 and the trip took about 2.5 hrs. Upon arriving at Pattaya, we stayed close to the beach (can't remember hotel name, but only about 700 bhat per nite including breakfast.
Anyways, it is great; a SW can be had for about 400 bhat. The girls at the beer barns are also a good bet at a little more, plus the bar fine. Its great to just watch the kickboxing matches (start about 9pm) at the beer gardens and then leave later for a cheaper SW. Pattaya was great, although the beaches were not too clean and swimming is iffy. I did rent a jetski for approximately 1 hr for about 30-40 US.
Hopefully will be going back soon!

Where did your tuk-tuk driver take you?? PatpongII is the next street up from PatpongI . There is also PatpongIII but that is only a few gay bars and lame ass discos. If you were 2 miles away from the " real Patpong " you were not at Patpong 2. How long were you in BKK ? Never tried Nana or Soi Cowboy ? The Patpong MP's are generally much lower quality than the other soapies that are mentioned on this board. You notice they are never mentioned by any regular LoS monger.Glad you had a good time though. If your into the beach then Patong beach in Phuket is far preferable to Pattaya. The water in Pattaya is crawling with raw sewage and lord knows what else.Even 10 years ago I got a raging eye infection from swimming in that cesspool. Will never risk it again. What internet site did you use to set up meetings with potential brides ??BTW -- very wise move to decline bareback ride from someone who offers it .Obviously she makes same offer to everyone. She likely already knows she is HIV positive and is out to get revenge on farangs !!!!!

re" Patpong 1 and 2...
I never even realized there was a Patpong 2, until I read about it somewhere. Admitadly, it is a much smaller street than Patpong 1, and it is easy to miss. The entrance from Silom is barely noticeable, and to get to it from Patpong 1 you would have to go down these alleys. It is wasy to beleive that you thought it was 2 miles away since it is easy to become completely disoriented in a place like Bangkok, especially if you've never been there before.
Patpong 2 has more beer bar places that Patpong 1, which has more Go-Go bars. Unlike most people, I prefer the Patpong area, but I guess it's what you're used to. They say it is more expensive, but you just have to remember to bargain. If you like the Silom Rd. area, there is a hotel right on Patpong 2 "Pavillion Place", or something, although the girls call it something different. 100 baht per night, and no joiner fee for clean, basic and noisy (hey, it's Patpong!) rooms. I accidently left some items in the room once, (my digital camera, and some clothes on hangers), and the staff had put them aside for me when I returned a week later. I felt so impressed that it didn't just get stolen, that I gave the maid and the manager 500 baht each. The manager seemed to expect this, but the maid was shaking when I gave it to her. Wai's all around, of course.

The best use for Patpong 2 is walking. you can walk up and down and avoid the night market nightmare!Cut over to Patpong 1 when you near your fav bar. Also scenery not too bad with beer bar girls and their universal calls of" hello handsome man" and "where you go ?" Pavillion Place is 100 baht but I have never known anyone who stayed all night. I think the girls call it " easy money " LOL

IT guy,
Which web-site did you use to contact these women in Bangkok?
I have been to Patpong many times. I dont recall seeing any disco there. Do you remember the name of the disco you visited in Patpong?
Thanks!

There are a couple of discos owned by the King group in Patpong. They are in the connecting streets between Patpong I and Patpong II. One is across from the outrageously priced seafood restaraunt- also owned by King group. It's called King's Seafood. I cannot remember the names of the discos. They are not very good. Used to be great as all the honeys from the go-gos went there after 2AM. The puritans have put an end to that. Still some early barfined girls there after 10-11 or so , but there are far better discos in BKK!!

How did you find the Bangkok girls via Internet? Was it in a chat room or some marriage agency site?
