OK, i just got back from Bangkok, the reviews here were helpful but a little dated so heres some new info. I spent most of my time in Nana Plaza, a little at Clinton Plaza and only was in Patpong during the daytime, so can't really comment on that. Nana was more than enough to keep me busy for a week! I tried but failed to see every bar, here is what i can remember, it may be of use but keep in mind that this is from memory and i may make some mistakes.

Rainbow 1 (maybe Playschool?) First bar on the right downstairs There are two stages, the best looking girls are on the one farthest from the door (to the left) try to go over there to be seated. The mama san is a riot here, try to befriend her, i had great time joking around with her, though she was trying fix me up with a girl i didn't like, i eventually got her to get my favorite to come over, turned out my favorite wasn't much in the personality department so i ditched.

Rainbow 2 (the one in the corner) Many girls on stage, soem very nice looking ones too, i didn't find them to be very friendly though, hard to catch anyones attention, no one approached me, i guess they wait for you to pick, i never did...

Obsession Very nice looking girls here too, i was already with a date so idid not partake.

Bottoms Up This little bar was my favorite, the girls are very friendly and there is a generally good vibe going on. Not a lot of girls and no real superstars, but a lot of fun. I tried two different ladies here and both were excellent (though i did get in a little butterfly trouble) not a big deal.

Red Lips I don't know if i was late or what, but there were only three girls of (to be kind) marginal quality

Carnival (the place with the glass ceiling, at the top of the escalator) is a lively place with a good variety of girls. A girl will join you at you seat after a few minutes, generally. The dancers seem to be having fun (which make a difference to me) I never barfined anyone from here, though there was potential.

G spot AT least i think it was G-Spot, i didn't make it here until just before closing time, there weren't very many girls left, but its a very nice big club and i wish i would have come earlier.

Angel Witch The door girls are very aggresive here, its all in good fun though and enjoyed being grabbed and dragged through the door I didn't find any of the dancers to my liking though and didn't stay long, friendly place though.

Hollywood Two?!? Its the big one upstairs... I had a date already when i went here, which was almost a shame because they have some very nice looking girls that i definetly would have considered. Also the lesbian shower show is pretty good if you like that sort of thing.

Paradiso ?? (not sure if thats the right name, this bar is an immediate right as you come off the escalator, you'll miss it if the carnival girls grab you first) A nice medium size club with some pretty girls. And two truly outstanding girls, i was lucky enough to barfine one of these and we had a wild party at several bars (where she actually paid for drinks!!!) and then back to the hotel where she rocked my world!

I think I was in a couple other ones too, but I was in no condition to remember which ones! Hope this helps. BTW i was tipping my girls 2000 baht, maybe a bit high, but they did such a good job i still felt like a cheapskate

The bar at the top if the escalator is Mandarin- believe me I know this bar very well. Carnival is the huge bar to the left of the escalator. The bar on the right WAS Silver Dragon in December - a dump with poor quality girls. Is this the new bar that Boss Hog has bought and re-named ??? I heard he had taken over another bar.
Your tour did not include Casanova. Did you not get a chance to check it out ??? Some of BKK's most stunning creatures work here. A must for all newbies !!!!!

Carnival is actually on the third floor. You have to go up a flight of stairs after you get off the escalator.

Akjay, you've got me scratching my head over a couple of things. You said you hung out a little at Clinton Plaza, but when I was there, the last go-go had shut down. Is there one still trying to hang on?

Also, has the, um, type of employee changed at Obsession? You see, that place is well known for employing "girls" who have secrets to hide. There are two bars in NEP that focus on this specialty, the other being Casanove.

I have to agree, Casanova has some of the best looking females around. I recommend visiting there to be the first thing a monger do. (And keep it a secret, sshhh, don't want too many guys competing with you for the stunners.)

Just back from Bangkok, NEP.
With "Angelwitch" to begin: 10.15 p.m. a very good show and a lot of fine girls. (say Matt hello !).
"G-Spot" with a lot of nice girls. Do not give more than 1500 Baht, it is big money in Thailand!
" Bottoms Up" with totally nude girls at the same price and some of them very sexy.
"Long Gun" in Soi Cowboy the same !
