Well, just back in after a two week stay in Rio and thought I'd give some impressions of my stay before they faded away. I guess I would consider myself a "intermediate" Rio monger now that I've got four Rio trips under my belt and its time to share some of my observations with the rest of the gang (especially since many of you have been so generous with your time in supplying me with valuable info). I'm not going to go into "blow by blow" (no pun intended) accounts of my encounters with individual girls. I feel each of us have our own individual tastes, for example I'm attracted to the young, slightly timid but natural type, but suffice it to say that any type of physique, attitude, and sexual skills can be found in Rio. With that being said, here are some observations from the last trip:

Apartment vs. Hotel: I chose the apartment route this trip but have stayed in hotels previously. I rented an oceanfront 1 bedroom on Rua Bolivar from Ken of EZ Rentals for $50.00 (US)/day. I loved it, Ken did a great job. He was always available my telephone and is a real straight shooter. I'll use his services again. The biggest advantages of the apartment route was the ability to bring in more than one girl (which I did) and the fact that there is no extra charge for guests. The greatly diminished "Walk of Shame" was also a benefit of the apartment route. Safety was absolutely no problem.

Incall vs Termas: The last few trips I was a termaholic, every afternoon or early evening I would be a steady (and extremely satisfied) customer. This trip I felt like trying something different and used the agencies often to set up some afternoon delight. This route is a little more difficult, you do need to speak some portuguese (which I had been studying for the past six months) but the rewards are there. For example, the price, 150-200 reais is similiar to the termas but you get 2 hours with the girl in a more relaxing environment. I shared many sunsets in the apartment over a glass of wine or champaigne during my two weeks and it made for a more relaxing trip. I still did some termas and had a great time, the atmosphere and comraderie at these places are unique and will always be a part of any Rio trip.

Acquaintances: I'm a proud member of Don's Alcazar crew and can't say enough good things about the guys there. I really feel that the crew there is a big reason why someone can just pick up and go to Rio solo and not worry whatsoever about filling the non-mongering time. From the ritualistic passing of the digital cameras during lunch to the choppe sessions at night when you just feel like chilling (sim garotas) this place rocks. I can't even begin to mention all the great guys I've met there but I'm always impressed by the easy going nature of the people there, you guys are a class act. For newcomers to Rio you MUST enlist the services of Don, Rich, and Carl to fully appreciate Rio and to keep your butt out of any potential unpleasant scenarios.

Freelancers: I spent most nights outside Terrasco Atlantico (just outside Help) and the talent never failed to show up. The girls were fluctuating wildly on price, some initialy asking $200.00US (yeah, right....next!) but with a little sob story of my own I was able to always get home under 200 reais.

Bummers: Not too much to report here. The shitflingers got my sandels twice but this was just a temporary irritation. Also, the apartment didn't have cable so keeping up with the war news was a challenge (I spent alot of time at Tudo and Facil for internet access). Other than that I really have no complaints other than the fact that I have to wait 3 more months before I can get back to RIO!!!!

It was great meeting Tequilatim. I have been trying to decide how to translate my trip into a report that will be entertaining or informative. That was definitely a new situation for me, hooking up with one girl for almost my entire trip. I believe I am going to return in 3 months also, maybe I'll see you there.

No biggie. I did notice your absence...but once the ladies started arriving...TequilaTim Who? Heh heh. I'm sure there will be another, just not sure when.
