This was the first trip I didn't bring either my laptop or digital camera to Rio. I just wanted to relax with some friends and have a good time. Mission accomplished.

The weather was great. Sunny and not too hot. It was in the high 80's most days. The exchange rate is falling as fast as the selection at L'Uomo. By the time I left it was down to 2.95. This trip I spent more time seeing more of Rio and the surrounding area. I even made it to Barra for some shopping, got on my first bus ever in Rio, went to Centaurus for my first time and even picked up a hottie for an overnight while getting money at Citibank!!

L'Uomo I found to be sub par this trip. Many girls didn't do anything for me this trip. I saw Shayla and she was better than ever. That girl definitely is awesome in bed and keeps getting better. She gave me her # but I never called her.

4 X 4 was pretty good. Sandman did his favorita, Rebecca. DonGringo saw a girl he claimed was his best session ever, SuperJeff had two sessions before his flight back to the USA. I had a combination of an upset stomach and not seeing any one super hot so I didn't session. I think this was the first time I went to a terma and didn't see anyone. First time for everything I guess.

My highlight of the trip was probably my first night there. I had just got down going to L'Uomo with the guys and was gonna lay down and rest a few hours. I didn't sleep on the plane much so I was tired. But then I remembered the Citibank closed at 10 PM so I had to go get money at the ATM. While walking over to the ATM I passed this hottie who was walking out of a restaurant. I started chatting with her and we really hit it off. Her English was next to nothing but it didn't really matter.

Long story short, I ended up taking her to a nice restaurant on Ave. Atlantica. We ended up going back to my apartment and she spent the night. She stayed with me from 9 PM until 11 AM the next morning and she never asked for any money! I don't know if she was a program girl or not but I would assume so as it's hard to believe any hottie would sleep with a gringo within hours of meeting him! I gave her R$300 when she was leaving and she looked surprised and started shaking her head no. But I told her it was for a taxi. Had a great time with her. This is a good example of why you should take some Portuguese lessons via Pimsleur or any other method.

Centaurus was also great. We were all sitting at Alcazar shotting the shit when Bluestraveller suggested a Centaurus run later. He said it didn't get hopping until after 6:30 PM or so. Well...we went ahead and went. I don't know why more of you guys don't go. It CLEARLY is the nicest terma hands down. The bar area is nice, the rooms are MUCH nicer than the other termas and a lot bigger too. I thought the selection would be bigger but none of us had any problems finding a girl.

It was hilarious because I spotted this gorgeous blondie. I mean...just beautiful. Exactly my type. Light skin, blonde, slim body, nice tits, did I mention she was 18 years old? Anyway, DonGringo says that she is bad in bed and totally pro. I ask him if he sessioned with her. He said no. That is all I needed to hear. I am always willing to try a hottie. I usually have good luck even when others don't.

I wink at the girl and blow her a kiss. I think her name was Angel. She immediately comes over. I ask her name and the usual info. Then I point over to DG and tell her that my friend tells me that she is cold in bed and totally pro. I ask her if that is true. Ha, ha! She tells me it's all lies but does admit if she isn't attracted to the guy she isn't as into it. Well, we start making out and I know I'm going to session with her. She is turns 19 next month. We get upstairs and guys let me tell you that she was perfect. Wonderful BBBJ, awesome kisser great in bed. The funniest part was at the end. She was on top and I climaxed and she just kept going. She wouldn't stop and was saying things in Portuguese like, "how cold am I in bed now!" "tell your friend how pro I am!". It was funny. She also kept making me repeat her # until I memorized it. We never paid the tourist tax thanks to DonGringo's insistance of not paying it. What could they do? There was like 7 of us and we threatened to go somewhere else if they charged it. The guys that bad mouth this place are wrong. Yes, it's more expensive but it was worth it. They didn't charge up front either. They charged at the end and I used my credit card. Unlike all the other termas they didn't charge extra for using a credit card. With the entrance, drinks, and session it was R$285. This place is like $30 US more than the other termas. My first time here but certainly not my last.

It sucks the exchange rate is falling so drastically both in Rio and Buenos Aires. Makes everything more expensive. I hit several upscale clubs and restaurants in Ipanema and it can add up fast.

I had a great time with Sandman, SuperJeff, Hector, DonGringo, Bluestraveller and other dudes (sorry if I forgot your names). Another funny thing is we ran into a few dudes that read Club Hombre but don't post. They knew all of our handles and read all our posts. They couldn't believe they were meeting all of us at the same time. Another great trip. I'll be back in a few weeks and hook up with my amigo Kick Stand. Until then.

Glad you had fun. You learning portuguese could be dangerous.... As for exchange rates, it's amazing - the real has been steady under 3 to the dollar all week. I think that this is less due to Brasil doing anything good economically than it is due to Washington (deliberately or not) dumping the dollar - i.e. it's going down against ALL currencies. If it keeps goign this way, soon we'll have Italian mongers vacationing in NYC - j/k! I hope...

I also thought about that but I wanted to help this girl. She had a family and this girl had a normal job too (or at least claimed to working as a receptionist in a dentist office). I did explain I wasn't paying her for sex but that she was a friend now and I just wanted to give her money to take a taxi home and buy something nice for herself or save it for a rainy day.

I would have to say at this point that Centaurus is my home terma. I was thinking that virtually any one that comes to Rio goes and has a nice dinner at Mariu's. The place is expensive, and after you leave there are a ton of taxi rip off artists outside the door. But Mariu's has some of the best food around, in a great environment to chill. The service is also great.

There are certainly other places where one can eat more economically, but for the best of the best, go to Marius.

Well Centaurus is the Marius of termas.

I'm still cracking up over that "how cold am I NOW?" from Goldilocks! I agree that she is incredibly beautiful. How I came to make that warning was that she is admittedly quite forward and agressive, right? Well, she was working me over pretty hard my first time in Centaurus when Dino said "don't waste your time - she is hardcore". I merely repeated that warning. What is CLASSIC is how you capitalized on the situation! Amazing.

And I agree that Big C is a must do terma.

GF-Great to see you again buddy and the C run was a lot of fun. I agree, I was also impressed after reading the mixed reviews. On my first arrival day, DG had set me up with Rosie in my apt (what a guy) and i remember thinking to myself, "if the rest are anuthing like her it will be great". I wish I had waited a while to session because when I saw laura...well, it was too late.

I did have a great session with Carla and would highly recommend her to anyone. Room was large and nicely appointed and like you, I got outta there for about 275R. Hell, my next day at Luomo was $R259.

I have a love-hate relationship with Centaurus. They do have good facilities (though not enough rooms sometimes, so the waits can be long) and some real stunners, but their policies still piss me off. Why should I have to talk my way out of the tourist tax and the pre-payment? It shouldn't be an issue in the first place. No other terma I've been to tries to pull that BS. By comparison, the owner of 4X4 waived my entry fee FOR LIFE because I'm a good customer. That's the way you do business. Instead of finding ways to screw the customer, the managers of Centaurus should look for ways to attract and reward the customers.

I was at Centuarus yesterday around 6.30 and the talent was very lacking lot 5 and 6 IMO and a couple of 7 and one or two 8 sprinkled in.

I waited for more 1 and half hour for things to pickup but that didn't happen.

So I went with a 7.5 that had approached me from the start, after having sent her away in the beginning. I was thinking what the hell I could have like tons of her quality or even better a 4x4 for half the price. And I was able to make a good comparison, because I had just arrived from 4x4 being there from 3 to 5.30 PM. I had a hard time choosing there too but that was more because of the large number of girls I would have liked to do.

I must say that the talent picked up a tad after I returned from my session at around 8.30 - 9.00, which was great by the way (the session that is).

Another factor was also that the place was quit empty with only 15 to 20 girls and 5 to 7 men. The girl said to me that was because tomorrow first of May is a holiday and a lot of girls took a day off.

So I will give it a try again but then just go later at around 8.00 PM.

Sorry for long post but I was really pissed off having expected so much off this place (and payed a lot of money), but I guess I was just there one a bad day.

On a regular day, Centaurus has between 50 to 70 garotas. Imho the talent is no better than other termas but that's just my opinion, typical selection curve from 5's to 8's with mostly 6's and 7's and the rare 9 or 10. My problem with Centaurus is the environment (management, mamesan, customers (locals and foreigners), some hard sell, taxi drivers on rua caning) not the garotas selection nor the price tag.
Best is always to try a new place with reserved expectations or you might get disappointed too many times.

KS-Thats and interesting perspective; BD and me at the same time with our hands held out to her. On one hand, I'd hate to put her in the predicament; on the other hand it would be interesting to see which one of us she chose...he he!

I was planning on a quick trip to BA for GF's party but dangling a carrot like that in front of my face for a 3 day foray in Rio before BA....well' let me think about it.

I am probably the person who informed DG that Angel sucked. When I saw her, she did exactly as you said with all of her might. The part that pissed me off with her was that she promised something prior to the session and then backed out at the end of the session. Actually, she used it as a means to sell a secondary schedule.

the other part I didn't like about Angel was the fact that she was lacking in the sensuality department. However, if you want 60 minutes of hardcore fucking, Angel is your girl. My only other complaint was that she was a bit scripted in my opinion.
