I realize that almost everything you need to know has already been said on this board and others but I will just give it to you from my perspective. I am no expert in this field but I give you this advice as a Newbie.

I. How to get there?

a) From Thailand: Ehotelthailand.com allows you to pay for your flight before you arrive in BKK. This is a good idea if you are afraid that the flights might be booked. I chose Philippine Airlines and a RT ticket costs $258. Thai Airways flights costs about $300 and Egypt Air has a flight that leaves at 3am and costs about $215. The PI Air flight leaves at 1:40 pm and arrives about 5:45 or so...my flight arrived early at 5:30. You lose an hour going to PI. Another suggestion to purchase tickets is to wait until you get to BKK and use the many travel agents on Kho Sahn Road.

b) From U.S.: If you are traveling from Cali., Travelocity.com is your best bet during low season. During the summer, I got the best rates through consolidators. Go to Filipino neighborhoods and you will see several travel agents that will give you flights cheaper than face value. I purchased a flight that was $300 cheaper than the face value of the ticket and it includes a shuttle service from San Diego to LAX. $900 total during summer time is a great price as all the Pinoy are traveling back to their homeland.

c) From Airport to AC- Tough to cart around your luggage to Swagman Hotel or to Rabbit Bus Station. Swagman does offer a van ride for 350 pesos(I think) but it's only worth it if you were staying in Manila the night before. Almost all of the taxis charge about 1,500 pesos($28). It's probably best to have your hotel provide the pickup as it is guaranteed. The price is a total ripoff but you have little choice. The ride can take an hour and a half without traffic and as much as 3 1/2 hours with it. Unfortunately most of the flights from Thailand arrive during rush hour....schedule accordingly.

d) From AC to Airport: Swagman has daily trips to the airport for around 400 pesos but I am not exactly sure. You can take a taxi back for the same 1,500 pesos. You can also fly back on SE Air which leaves at 7 am daily if you have a morning flight. They had a special while I was there for 500 pesos($9). The flight was on a commuter jet and gets you there in 25 minutes.

II. Where to stay?

a)Apartelle Royal-You can look on several web sites which show pictures of this place and I highly recommend it because it is big, brand new, great location and has all the modern amenities. The only drawback is that your bf's will be front and center for all the gossip girls. Price for Executive Room is $32 a night and the jacuzzi suite is $40 per night.

b)Clarkton-This place has very nice rooms, a gym, a great pool and good service. I did not stay here last time because you have to take a jeepney into town every time and I wanted to be within walking distance my first time.

c) Orchid Inn-Great location and great pool. Has a go go bar attached and a restaurant near the pool that is popular with expats. I thought the rooms were pretty worn and not up to par with my standards.

III.Where to eat?

a)Kokomos-Extensive menu with great Thai, Filipino and American specialties. Probably the best quality on Fields. Their is a terrace where you can people watch and a place inside with pool tables. There is also a pool and jacuzzi in the back to take your girl. The ice teas here are great. Recommended.

b)Margarita Station- Good for breakfasts and good Thai food. The Mongolian BBQ and Thai food night are great. They have different theme nights and always have drink and food specials. The service is excellent IMHO. Great place to start the day.

c)Molly Malones-Has a lunch and dinner buffet with carved meats and great desserts for 250 pesos. The atmosphere is like a good Irish bar in the States and it is next door to Misty's go go bar for further dessert. Recommended.

d)Fast Food-Your choices are so limited in AC that you may find yourself eating at Chung King or Jollibees. They have slightly different menus than in the states and much cheaper prices. I like the Chicken Joy/Spaghetti combo and enjoy the Halo Halo for dessert at Chung King.

IV. What to do during the day?

Those of you whom have been to Thailand will be sorely dissapointed. AC is a complete dump and the surrounding areas dont provide much in terms of entertainment but here are some ideas:

a) Sleep and morning fucks: The girls sleep late and you will have to beg them to leave your place. I like to get up and eat breakfast and then return for a morning nap and a couple of extra sessions. Also a lot of fun to take showers with your girl and get a BBBJ in the shower.

b) Local malls: The Savers Mall and Nemo Mall offer very little other than to see the future hotties of the PI. You can take a jeepney to either place and be forwarned that the local teenage girls look to Americans as rock stars, so be prepared for serious flirting from girls way too young. The best place to go is the Clark Economic Zone which has many outlets, including Best Buy. There is nothing really worth buying in the PI, other than knockoff Pro Sports jerseys that sell for cheap.

c) Daytime go go bars: Brown Sugar, Voodoo, La Bamba, Flamingo Bar and Cambodia Club all open at 2pm. Great place to drink cheap drinks for daytime happy hour and maybe take a short time or two. Most of these places have low to average talent but beautiful waitresses so drink heavily or you might be dissapointed.

d)Santos Street(Blow Row)-Kind of cool that there are BJ bars open 24 hours a day. Take a stroll during the day and you might see a hottie worth a 400-500 peso BJ/sex combo. Local Beer is 25-30 pesos. Great place to chat with the girls on the balcony and people watch.

e)Hotel pools-If you are staying at a hotel with a pool, you can chill with your girl or join someone elses party while sipping a cocktail.

f) Gyms-I did no partake in any gym activity but understand that Clarkton has a decent gym. Anyone care to share their experiences with gyms in AC are welcomed to chime in.

V. Nightlife

a)Best Bars: I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but for me there were only a couple of big bars I would recommend. Almost all of the bars have one doable girl and half of them have at least one cutie. The Best bars are as follows:

b)Underrated Small Bars- There are a few bars that are small but have a decent amount of LBFM spinners worth checking out. The level of talent at the second tier bar changes daily so dont take my word for it and try to venture into many bars on the first two days to decide for your self:

Mistys
Blackjacks
Bananitas
Las Vegas

VI. The girls:

a) The Bad:
If your expecting the same level of beauty as Thailand or Filipinas in the states, you will be very dissapointed. Most of the girls are heavier and have some baby fat around the tummy. Their faces are a lot more primitive than Thai girls many girls have moles on their faces. They just dont take care of their bodies the way Thai girls do due to their poor diet. These girls get attached quickly to compensate for the extreme Catholic guilt they have for getting pai for sex. These girls usually arrive as virgins or have had a baby from an abusive, lazy Filipino bf. The stunners are hard to bf after 9pm because the Japanese guys get their early and clear out the hotties like locusts. The Japanese guys dont necessarily go for the light-skinned girls here.

b)The Good:
There are few stunners but there are some girls that have an unreal mix of Spanish/Malay blood. Some girls look very Latina and have little trace of Asian blood. Big brown eyes and full lips. Very distinct and beautiful, especially from girls form Samar or Leyte. You will see at least 20 girls here that will leave you drooling....you must act quick with these girls or she will be barfined when you blink.
Most of these girls have little experience as many arrive as virgins. Many times the innocent act is not an act and the girls truly no clue how to fuck yet or give head. I think these girls are slightly more honest than Thai girls and are not as good of actresses. The girls are fun and extremely sweet. I dont think this a ploy but it is the general nature of filipinas. Remember that Filipinos do not consider brown girls cute and treat their women like shit. We are crowning princes for them. If you look at the girl and can honestly say that you could get a girl like that in the states then the girls will be honest with you. If she is out of your league or has a tatoo/cell phone, dont believe anything she says.
The price is an apallingly cheap 1,000 pesos for an all-nighter. These girls want to stay with you as long as possible as their apartments are usually dumps. They will attach on to you quickly as most of them hate their jobs and would rather spend time with someone they like or dislike but has money. I tipped girls 200-300 pesos for taxi money and they seemed happy. They tell me that European men do not tip at all and that Americans and Japanese normally tip 100-200 pesos. I did tip one girl 500 pesos and she was in shock.
If you are a guy who likes long time fantasy gf's, then this is the place. These girls want to stay with you as long as possible and will give you multiple sessions to stay around. Also note that most girls here will offer bareback sex, dont do it. Even though AIDS is nearly non-existen in the PI, you still dont want KIDS or other forms of VD.

VII.Impressions of AC- When you first arrive in AC, the place will remind you of TJ a lot. It is filthy, the roads are unpaved, and there are beggers everywhere. You must lower your expectations of atmosphere and realize that you are there for the pussy only. Get yourself a nice hotel because there is little to do outside. I would also suggest making friends with the mamasan early on to get good suggestions and talk to some expats about the ins and outs. Take what the expats have to say with a grain of salt as many are jaded and way too old to be picking up on 18 year old girls.

One correction, the restaurant that makes good Halo Halo and other fast food is called Chowking.

I only know of one movie theater in Manila, but have no knowledge of movie theaters in Angeles City. Does anyone have input on this?

The movie theatre is in Angeles City proper, at the mall. It is a fourplex and fairly nice from what I've heard. There is also a major theatre at the SM Mall in San Fernando (about a 30 minute jeepney ride from AC)

Blazers, have you changed your opinion on this at all? I found myself EXTREMELY bored in Thailand (particularly in Pattaya) in the mornings, and unlike AC, for ME, long time was NOT the norm, and I had nowhere to bury the morning bone. Bangkok at least has the beer bars in the mornings, but AC has Santos street, the previous evening's girl still in your bed, cellphone short time invitations gladly accepted, etc. And if none of that sounds good, there's always just relaxing and taking things in in the various cafes in the 'dump' as you label AC, like La Cantina at the Orchid, Kokomos, and Margarita Station.

Movies also have special daytime bargirl start times at 10:30 AM at Jenra mall.

VI. The girls

The Bad: One thing I forgot to mention that can ocassionally be a problem is the poor hygiene of the Filipina farm girls. They are always very clean and always smell nice but most have never been taught how to thorougly clean their pussy. I cannot tell you how many times I have had awful smells coming from their puki. These girls may look beautiful but many are uneducated and their physician/hygiene doctor has no sense of smell. The solution is to drag them with you to the shower and use a whole tub of shower gel. This is a sensitive subject and many times the girl smells only because she just finished her period. This business about the pussy cleaning itself is sheer nonsense. The only polite way I have found that gives them the hint is to stick your finger in their pussy and hold it up to their nose.

I am at present in bangkok as I left pattaya about a week ago. I spent a wonderful time with about 3 ladies on a long term basis in bangkok although I had a wonderful time with about 40 or 50 ladies on soi 6 bars in pattaya. Anyone who happens to be in bangkok must know about the small bar on the left hand side of the street about 50 yards off of sukumvit soi 8, I dont know the name of the place but I can assue you that if you are not an idoit you can do well there.
