Here is my little bit on the scene in Yangon.

The Hot Spot nightclub at Kandawgyi Palace Hotel on the lake.

Open from about 9pm until 1 am, doesn't really seem to get going until around 10 or 10:30pm and by get going I mean that there are some girls there. I was there on a Monday night and maybe that is why it was so dead. There was me, maybe one other foreigner and a few Burmese military looking guys. There were also about 10 girls working there. They ranged from about a 7.5 to maybe a 4. Not a huge selection. I picked one of the 7.5s short hair, decent body (while dressed), about a 9 in personality. Had a good time with the girls. No real husseling of drinks, I think I bought 2 and they refused all other offers. Went to the room where I was a little disappointed by the body and performance, but I figured I had to try Yangon for the sake of the group. Stayed at the same hotel, $20 joiner fee and $20 for the girl shortime.

One thing that I couldn't figure out was they had this fashion show type of affair with more girls, but I couldn't tell if they were for hire or not. It was one of those things where you can buy a garland (looks like tinsel to me) for a girl. I didn't see the girls who had garlans bought for them go over to the guys who bought them however, hence my lack of knowledge if they were available.

Some other people mentioned that the Traders hotel bar had freelancers, I didn't see one while I was there and was there for about 4 hours. They did have a good buffett and cheap happy hours with mixed drinks for about $1.50 US. There is a disco near here that also had some freelancers but I can not remember the name it is behind traders about a block.

There are many many touts on the street who will offer to take you to have "special massage", prices for this ranged but I didn't want to take them up on their offers. So I am not sure the quality offered.

Additionally there is street massage near the Asia park hotel on the same street as Aung San Market down about 1/2 mile. It is underneath an overpass that cross Aung San street. Good massage, about 2 dollars. They will also offer to hook you up with someone, again I declined. They will also offer to blow you or give you a handjob beihnd some parked cars. This I really declined, but to each his own.
