After sleeping on the 3 hour flight from Manila, I had the taxi take me Ekamai. The bus ride was pretty quick until about 8 miles from Pattaya. Isuzu trucks for as far as the eye could say packed with teenage Thai boys and waterguns. There were water truck about every 50 feet and these fuckers were using melted ice in their guns. It took 5.5 hours to get to Pattaya as Songkran lasts until the 19th in Pattaya. Every adolescent male from Isaan was there to take out all of his frustrations on the falang. I guess they are angry about all of the hot, young women leaving the province to marry falang. I'd be pissed too. Traffic was backed up for miles and there were no songthaews to be found. I finally got together with a group and we were pummelled with ice cold water the whole way to Soi 8. I had to wheel my luggage to Eastiny and was doused with water and white powder the whole way. I think this will be my last Songkran. It's fun when your in the middle of it but not when your carting around luggage or want to look decent when you go out at night. Hello Blazers...

I am new to the "club", but have been going to Bangkok for business every other month for a month at at time for the last year. Moved my office there in the fall.

I have not had much of a chance to go to Pattaya and truly enough it (always with clients and friends)...so I really do not know the best bars. This site has been helpful...but as the bar situation (ie. quality of girls) changes so often, some of the comments here must be out of date.

Q. What are the top 5 places in Pattaya to go in you opinion?

Fdr, the best go go bars in Pattaya fluctuates constantly as the girls are too lazy to stay consistently at one place and also quit the business early on if they cant hack it or find a guy to marry and leave the business. Hot girls get picked up quickly and are removed from the business. Overall the top places recently are:

Electric Blue a go go
Supergirl
Superbaby
Those are the HOT 4...theothers fluctuate consistently and you have to peek your head in to check it out. I am going by looks of the girls. The attitudes of the girls changes according to who their client is...ie: what he looks like, his age, can he speak thai...etc.
