Based on posts to the Mexican discussion section of Club Hombre I decided Mazatlan was worth a trip.
I have made many trips into Sonora on the bus but have never ventured further South. I like taking the bus for a number of reasons. You have the opportunity to meet new people on the bus. Bus travel in Mexico is more enjoyable than in the U.S. You can relax on the bus and sleep, watch movies or take in the scenery. You don't have to worry about the security of your car. Bus stations are usually centrally located so hotels and other amenities are close by. And most importantly to me, bus travel is inexpensive: about $500 pesos each way to Mazatlan.
To avoid the long waits at the border, I always park my truck on the U.S. side and walk accross. I then either take a taxi or a city bus to the Nogales, Sonora Central de Autobus. I found out the hard way that crossing the border that way saves a whole lot of time, money and hassle.
Before you leave, don't forget to obtain your Mexican visa from Mexican Immigration or some other agency in your home town. I got caught once without one on a weekend trip to Hermosillo and thought I was going to be deported North as an illegal alien! I always keep a certified copy of my birth certificate with me but leave my passport at home for safe keeping. Passports are not required for American citizens to visit Mexico.
There is an overnight express bus that leaves Nogales about 8PM most nights and pulls into Mazatlan 17 hours later. That sounded too exhausting for me so I decided to take 2 days and overnight in Ciudad Obregon.
An ex-girlfriend of mine is from Obregon and I was told that a lot of beautiful women live there.
I was not disappointed.
The night of my arrival I decided to take a walk and just explore Obregon on foot from my hotel. I found a great Chinese restaurant on Calle Galleana, the Hong Kong Restaurant. I had a wonderfully huge plate of shrimp egg fu yung and after my meal continued my walk.
Not far from the restaurant I found "Panchos Ladies Club" near the corner of Galleana and Tobasco. I had to ask the doorman if "Ladies Club" meant table dances as that term means something else here in the States. He said "Si, Senor!".
This place was a bargain compared to the clubs in Nogales. COVER CHARGE (Includes a free beer): $15 pesos; LARGE LITER OF BEER: $25 pesos; DRINK FOR BARGIRL: $50 pesos; PRIVATE DANCE: $100 pesos or 3 tickets for $200 pesos. Most of the dancers were mostly 6's or 7's but I found a 9 and I bought 3 tickets for a private dance with her. She gave me a great BBBJ. I took no photos in Obregon but I intend to return and may take photos on the next trip and post them in a seperate report.
The next morning I took the TAP bus to Mazatlan.
I highly recommend the TAP bus line. This was the most luxurious bus I have ever been on. The bus was very clean and looked new. There were 2 bathrooms and the seats converted to lounges that were almost like beds. Of course, there were also movies.
The bus pulled into Mazatlan that afternoon just as the sun was setting on the Pacific. From other websites like maps-of-mexico.com I knew that the hotels on the Malecon were only 3-4 blocks from the bus station so I picked up my bags and walked toward the sunset.
The first hotel I found was clean and inexpensive ($300 pesos + tax). Right away I noticed that Mazatlan was more humid than Tucson so I was glad my room had a good air conditioner.
I found out later from a tourist I ran into on the beach that the hotels further North in the tourist area called Zona Dorado are well over $1000 pesos/night, even if they are far from the beach.
Once I had a decent place to crash for the night, I was ready to check out the mongering scene in Mazatlan. Because of previous posts to the discussion section of Hombre, I knew I wanted to check out Caballitos. A pulmonia (open air taxi that looks like a golf cart) got me there for $50 pesos.
Cabllitos lived up to its reputation. It is the wildest club I have been to since I was in Thailand in the 70's. There is no cover charge. Beer is cheap at $10 pesos per bottle. When you buy a "table dance" there the chicas take the term literally: they dance on the square wooden tables in front of you. Some, but not all, will let you eat their pussies and fuck them briefly right at the table! If you need more than that brief contact, you can buy a private dance for, I think, about $250 pesos for 3 songs. The private rooms there are luxurious compared to the little closets in the Nogales clubs. The rooms at Caballitos are large and have a comfortable lounge on which you can fuck. The one I was in even had mirrors on the walls!
I was not the only Gringo in the club. One of the funniest things that happened on this trip was when some stupid American walked up to me and asked me if I spoke English! I told him "poquito" and he walked away! Now, I am about as caucasian as they come, but to be fair to him, it's possible that he thought I was a white Mexican or even a European because Mazatlan is truly an international destination.
One of the local guys that spoke some English, struck up a conversation with me. His name is Daniel. As I was traveling alone, Daniel became my mongering buddy for the rest of my stay in Mazatlan. He showed me true Mexican hospitality by taking me around to the other clubs in Mazatlan in his truck and never asked for a peso.
Of course, I slipped him quite a few pesos before I left since he has a huge family and makes very little selling clothes to tourists on the beach.
Daniel took me to Tarrandas but I was not too impressed with the quality of the chicas there.
He then took me to Hippocampos which I liked better. Both of these clubs are in the Central Zone but I don't have their exact addresses since Daniel was driving. I don't remember the exact prices at these clubs but I remember that none of the clubs charged a cover charge and the prices were competitive with what I paid at Caballitos.
The next night Daniel took me to Manos Magicas massage parlor. It was there that I enjoyed myself more than anywhere else I went on this trip. Manos Magicas is in the Central Zone very near the Malecon and the Monumento al Pescador. It is on the corner of Aquiles Serdan and Miramar and one block from the city bus line. Their phone number is 9-85-41-92.
Manos Magicas did not have more than about three chicas but they did have a very tall (5ft ll in), slim young lady with big firm titties. Her name is Michel and she is only 20 years old.
Photo: Michel
The mamacita told me the charge was $350 pesos for a one hour massage. She said if I wanted more than the standard massage "Talk to the girl".
Michel only asked for $300 pesos more and I was in such lust for this young lady that I never even tried to haggle with her. I enjoyed her firm young tits, ass and shaved pussy for a leisurely full hour and never had a knock on the door.
I am sold on the massage parlor experience in Mazatlan! On my last night there I went back to enjoy Michel for another hour.
I hope you enjoyed my trip report on Mazatlan. If anyone would like to be a Trip Buddy for my next trip South, let me know.

I can recommend the TAP buses, I did 24 hours on one a few months ago, and arrived at my destination completely refreshed.
So, what was the name of the hotel you stayed at in Mazatlan?
