This being my third trip to Cartagena. I am still a babe in the woods compared to some Hombre brothers who have posted on this subject.The following report is my collection of thoughts and observations regarding this charming city.

I flew Chicago to Miami via American Airlines.In Miami. I locate a baggage handler and he helps me to the Avianca ticket counter.(very important make sure you are in the right line to CTG)I would allow at least three hours between flights
as to navigate the line and security check.As I board the plane I notice I am stuck in the middle seat(what bad luck).As fate has it I am stuck between two hot looking ColombianasThe one on my left is reading so I turn my attentions to my new friend on the right.It turns out she is studying in Chicago and is on her way home to Bogota.Being from the same city Chicago we instantly have something to converse about.I end up getting her e mail and phone number back in the windy city.Upon departing the plane and clearing customs I change some dollars at the cambio in the airport(2100 cp to the US$).The first three nights I stay at the Las Velas # 1604 great location but it really is geeting run down.The AC is not working and the humidity is killing me. I call at least six times but to no avail they do nothing to correct the problem.My first night is spent with Claudia from La Dulce Vida nothing memorable as far as sack time is concerned.She departs early in the A.M. before she leaves we make a appointment for later in the afternoon. 1:00 pm rolls around and she is late. my personal rule of thumb is to wait no more than twenty to thirty minutes.Why waste valuable vacation time.By the time she shows up I am long gone.I hook up with Maria a sweet girl who is half Colombian and half Venezulean.I had met her on my last trip and she was a lot of fun.This trip she started getting a little more possesive so I decided to part ways.I change my accomodations to the Torre Centauro apartments just down the street from the Hilton hotel(40 US for a much nicer place than the LV at the same price)Later that evening I head off to La Dulce Vida(at 12:30 a.m. the girls start to show up)I choose a sweet girl( I really like) I nickname gata canela.She is a real tigress and I keep her for the next eight days. I like to butterfly so I explain to gata canela that if she wants to stay ,It's understood ther will be other women
(she agrees) I told you I really liked this girl! In my next report I will cover some of the restaurants side trips and other activities.

With three trips under your belt, you are not a babe in the woods by any means.. If I said lets hook up by the "fat lady" in Centro , you know where I am talking about..
Did you get a chance to meet BigBob since he was there when you were ??

Hi Treeshark I did meet Bigbob. We went out a couple of nights for dinner and once to the casa's. It was funny he said you and I had similar styles regarding chicas. He was teasing me for keeping the two girls for an extended time. I started teasing him back because he had a girl for eight days and was with her when I left. I am planning a trip sometime in the early Spring. Let me know when your next trip is and maybe we can hook up. I am dreaming about the female police officer I met at the airport.

When I go back, I'm going to consider 3rd times the charm and work on her.

Right now it looks like Jan 30 - Feb 3. Next trip after that is mid-March.

On the March trip, some friends and I are thinking of renting the MOST deluxe multi-bedroom penthouse we can find and making it party central.
