I stayed recently in Recoleta area..the upscale part of BA..smack in the middle of all of the bars, nightclubs and awesome restaurants!
ETOILE is an EXECELLENT hotel!! The staff is incredible and very friendly...as far as chicas....no problem...however, the daytime girl was in love with me and had the hots for me BIG TIME! So, she would not allow me to have girls during the day..this is unique to me of of course...anyway, she was really mad when she even suspected a girl was in my room and would go upstairs and knock on the door....of course...times I was alone turned into some HOT NOONERS during her lunch break....~grin.
Tip the doormen and concierge...they are very, very nice guys and will take care of you! The night desk clerk is the best! He made sure I had anything I wanted...heck I even came back one night with 12 girls for a private party and orgy,and he begged me to join in...I let him have one chica on me...and since that night...I was able to do whatever my heart desired....
The rates and location are execellent! Better now, since the crisis...and they beg tourists to come...The rooms are very nice..get the executive suite room 701..great view, and awesome jacuzzi...location in the middle of all of the clubs in MOONDOG'S Report....Hippopotamus is only a block away..so is Solid Gold and Sahara's and smack in the middle of all the best restaurants..walking distance...I never needed a cab...for anything..I only used a cab to go to Cafe Orleans..20 minutes away.

Flyguy, Thanks for the update. I stayed in an apartment the last time I was in BA, but the Etoile is a good option. What's the approximate crisis-adjusted rate? Their rate was a flat $100 per night in early December, plus tax.

If you guys really want to impress the chicas, try the new Four Seasons. They have special rates of around $ 150 a night. It is a brand new hotel near Recoleta. www.fourseasons.com/buenosaires
If I were going, that is where I would stay...in fact, may go before promotion ends in June.

Hey Amandine i've check the fourseasons hotel but I haven' t find anything for only 150$ (minimum is 250$).
