I love how laid back and nice the town is. It is set up for tourists in the downtown area and everyone was very nice to us. It was wonderful walking around and not being attacked by beggars, vendors, barkers, and cons. There was only one time a barker bothered us, and that was only briefly. It was a strange feeling mongering and not having to be on guard all the time.

It was too early for Anthony's, so we did some bar hopping. The first stop was Afro. A strip show was in progress. The place reminds me of Playboy Club in TJ. It is a spacious club. There were a half dozen girls and dozen customers (all Mexicans besides us). One of the women was very sexy. We stayed only for one beer because of the call of duty, and the need to research the bar scene made us push on.

I forgot the name of the second bar we went to because there is nothing to report. We took a look and left. There were about ten women sitting against the wall and none were doable.

The next stop was Denny's. Now, this place was more like it. There was a strip show going on. We watched three attractive girls dance. There were about a dozen girls with four doable by my standards. There were no American customers. There were only a half dozen guys there, not counting us. A slender attractive blonde, who was sitting at the bar, saw me looking at her. She had the waiter ask me if I wanted to join her at the bar. I declined because of being the good soldier I am and the sake of pushing on to Anthony's to finish our research project.

I was impressed with Anthony's the moment we walked in. It is a nice looking club. They had left up the New Years decorations (streamers and balloons on the ceiling) which gave the place a real party atmosphere. There is a large dance floor and a live band (a very good one. At times I had to look to see if they were playing or
if it was a recording). There are no strip shows.

We arrived at 8:30, which is a little early for Anthony's. There were 10 girls seated together in front of some very spacious and comfortable booths. The waiter seated us in a booth among the girls (how handy is that?). It was wonderful to be surrounded by so much beauty (I love smelling the mix of perfume).

Everything is very low pressure at Anthony's. The waiter was great. He was available, but not pushy. He was very professional. The drinks were $3. A shot of tequila came with my beers.

We were not approached by any of the women. It was nice to be able to drink and talk and look at the women. It was fun to window shop and decide who we wanted to invite to our table. Occasionally a girl would look our way and get eye contact from us and smile. It was relaxing and fun to enjoy the girls from afar and not be attacked. Flirting from a distance was fun.

I could not take my eyes off one girl in particular. It became very obvious to her and to me we were destined to be together. Her name is Pattie. She is about 30 years old and from TJ (kind of ironic). She has the most magnificent set of boobs I have seen. I could not take my eyes off her loveliness. I am not necessarily a boob guy (Samira, by fav at AB has small ones), but Pattie's were so exceptional, and natural, that I could not help but be drawn to her.

I invited her to our booth. MY buddy invited a girl also. The girls spoke very little English. They were delighted that my buddy knew Spanish. They had a good time talking with him. Patty got my number right away by massaging me. She massaged me for most of the hour we were in the booth, except when we danced to some slow music. The massaging finally moved down to Mr. Happy. He was ready for the attention by then.

The conversation finally got around to going to the room. I was shocked to hear $100 for 30 minutes. I had to drive a very hard bargain to get her to $60. I told her that I never pay more than $60 in TJ, even for the hottest girls in town. When Pattie heard that she knew I was not just a tourist, but an experienced monger. So she agreed to $60, and did not seem to be soured by our bargaining session.

She was very worth the $60. The session went about 45 minutes, with no knock. She was very hot. She was very passionate and started french kissing me the moment we got in the room. As we stood she started dancing and pushing up against me and teasing me by not taking her bra off. It was worth the wait when she unleashed those
magnificent mounds. She should have to have a license to have a pair like those. She gave an amazing BBBJ and wanted me to finish in her mouth, but I wanted a traditional finish. Besides, I wanted to have the session last longer and enjoy every minute.

The drawback about Anthony's is paying the $14 bar fine to get the girls out. The chica drinks are only $4. I only bought two for Pattie, so looking at it that way it was not so bad. But the bar fine and the $12 for the room made the total cost a little higher than I usually pay in TJ. But, I am not complaining. I had a wonderful time with a very classy and professional woman. I mention the money just to let everyone know that Anthony's is a classy place with classy women. It cost money to have class.

By midnight Anthony's was about three quarters full. There were maybe three dozen women and perhaps a hundred customers. About a third of the customers were American. Most of the women were in their mid twenties to mid thirties. There was one woman who looked about 45, but she was attractive and slender. There was only one
women in the place I considered to be not doable (I don't know if that means I am totally gone on Latinas or if it was really that good).

Anthony's is a great place to dance. The girls are eager to dance, and often there were several girls dancing together when the guys were not asking them to dance. It is heaven for guys who love Latinas and who love to dance.

Nice report, but I still don't get the mongering appeal of Ensenada unless you just really get burned out in TJ. I that case I just stay in the US...
I have been to Ensenada, I took a fav and they have some nice hotels, nothing better than TJ. Anthony's can't even closely compete with AB/CC. The prices are higher, the drive an hour longer...
I guess one has to do it once to check it out. I even take my favs to the US if they have a visa, in Ensenada there is just not a lot to do. Did I mention that the sights (Winery, Bufadora) are also pretty pathetic.
I am not saying this is a horrible place, I just don't see anything in Ensenada which is better elsewhere, nothing makes this place worth driving to, IMHO.

I think as a hombre, I want to try everything at least once so even though selection may not be as good as a good night in ZN, Ensenada being only 2 hours has to be on my itinerary.
Of course I'd rather be in Buenos Aires right now...

I certainly agree Ensenada does not compare to TJ for the selection of chicas. The appeal of Ensenada is the fact it is different and there are women I have not seen before.

The atmosphere is very different there also. I was not attacked from all angles by the vendors, barkers, cons, cops, rateros, and tour guides. I never realized the stress level in TJ until experiencing the non stress atmosphere in Ensenada.

I am not saying I prefer Ensenada over TJ for mongering in the long run. What I am saying is, it is a fun place to go for a change of pace. I just barely scratched the surface there. I talked to a Gringo in TJ last year who told me he was doing all-nighers in Ensenada for less than $100 with some very sexy girls. It was not at Anthony's I know, but I don't remember the details of what he said. So, I would like to explore some more.

If I can go down to Ensenada for the night and relax and end up with a cheap overnighter with a nice girl, then it would be worth doing on occasion.

For those who have never been to Ensenada, I highly recommend it for putting some new excitement in your mongering.

A weekend of fishing then mongering is what makes Ensenada attractive to me. The drive down, the cleanliness of town and good fish dinners keeps me coming back. I was there yesterday with wifey so didn't get any fishing or mongering done. Town looks dead during the week, so you better have plans to keep you occupied until evening. I haven't been there for years, but a trip up the mountains to Laguna Hansen is very pleasant. I think a chica would love that trip and make a TLWeekend. There is a hot springs on the way up and the road continues on to San Felipe.

Any suggestions on where to take a chica from TJ to Ensenada?

Over the last few years, Ensenada has been very good to me. I agree with Daytimer's post. There are a couple of other things that make Ensenada different.

Even at Anthony's, the girls are not high volume. Weekends are busy, but on nights other than Friday and Saturday, many chicas do not even go upstairs, or if they do, they only go once.

Also, in dozens of trips to Ensenada over the last few years, I have never used the hotel next to Anthony's. I always take the chica back to my room. That not only saves a room charge but the chicas are more relaxed and I am more relaxed. I have never had a chica refuse to go to my hotel.

I have always had something in the room for them to eat and drink. It is easy to get into a decent conversation while sharing something with a chica. I'll also have a couple of magazines and some current popular CD's. The result has been several "spontaneous" overnighters.

If the chica does not stay overnight but I am interested in seeing her the next day, the show-up average for a date has run about 80%.

Ensenada is certainly not TJ. And one is not better than the other. It depends on the style and pace that you want.

It is important to realize that most of the chicas that work in Ensenada, certainly at Anthony's, could work in TJ if they wanted. They come from all over MX just like the TJ chicas. They have choosen to work in Ensenada because it is safer, cleaner, less rushed, and more relaxed.
